Trooper's Narrative:

On Saturday, November 09, 2024, while conducting routine patrols in the area of Stagecoach Road/AR Hwy 5 at Interstate 430,
I, Trooper Anthony Goins, noticed a Black Mercedes Benz passenger car with Arkansas TAG (AME85I) displaying a Gray/Off
White 02 (Feb) 2024 decal. After running the TAG in ATLAS, it returned to a Silver 2015 Hyundai Sonata. I then closed in on
the vehicle to confirm I read the TAG correctly, then rechecked it with Troop A Communication.

As I moved in on the vehicle, near I-430 North near Col Glenn, the car increased its speed to 85+ before I activated my
lights/siren.

I followed the vehicle without lights/siren activated until it accelerated quickly and darted off at Shackleford Road/Exit #5. At
this point, I activated my lights/siren and advised Troop A Communication I was in pursuit, headed Southbound on Shackleford
Road, approaching 36th Street at approximately 2:07 PM.

The driver/subject, later identified as Denzell Kentrell Jackson, Jr. disregarded other motorists as it ran
through a Red-Light and 4-way Stop Sign on Shackleford Road. He also drove on the wrong/left side of the roadway as he
made a left, heading North on Romine Road. The vehicle travels at a high rate of speed through a residential area. Mr.
Jackson tossed papers out of the car near Romine Road and Kensington Drive before crashing into a brick residential mailbox
at the corner of Romine Road and Monique Drive at approximately 2:10 PM.

Mr. Jackson exited the vehicle, fled the scene on foot, and headed northeast into the wooded area behind the homes on
Monique Drive and Tanya Drive. Additional ASP Troopers and Little Rock Police Officers saturated the area, attempting to
locate Mr. Jackson. Mr. Jackson was spotted numerous times but was able to evade apprehension.

An Arkansas Temp TAG (DB193314) that expired on 09/30/2024 was discovered during the vehicle inventory. The Temp TAG
returned to this vehicle with Mr. Jackson as the owner. Based on information obtained on the papers tossed from the vehicle,
additional documents located within the car, visual contact of Mr. Jackson as he fled on foot, and visual contact of Mr. Jackson
while he moved through the wooded area, confirmed his identity.

Update:
On 11/14/2024 at approximately 0830, Mr. Jackson was taken into custody at the North Little Rock Probation/Parole office at
1302 Pike Avenue, Suite A, North Little Rock, AR 72114. Mr. Jackson had a confirmed Contempt of Court Warrant out of Pulaski County.

Mr. Jackson was transported to Pulaski County Regional Detention Center and Booked on the following charges:
