Taylor Swift has been touring the world since 2023 March.
As her record-setting tour almost comes to an end, she makes two final stops up north in Canada.
Last night was the first of six shows she'll perform in Toronto.
NTD's Shane Rankin has the report.
A long-awaited and much-anticipated night,
where thousands of Taylor Swift fans make their way into the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada,
for their chance to experience the highest-grossing tour of all time,
the Heiress Tour.
Taylor Swift last toured Canada in 2018,
when she made Toronto her only Canadian stop.
Fans have been looking forward to this event and are filled with excitement.
I don't think words can even explain what I'm feeling right now.
I'm ready to cry.
We're very excited.
It's the time of our lives.
This is going to be the night of our lives.
And I'm the dancers.
I love to dance, so I'm following all the dancers.
So excited for that.
Swift is a highly-accomplished singer-songwriter,
with 14 Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award, and 40 American Music Awards to list a few.
Concertgoers share their favourite song from opening night.
My favourite song tonight?
I can do it with a broken heart.
I don't have one.
I love them all equally.
I think my favourite moment was when she played
My Boy Only Breaks His Favourite Toys.
And this is why we can't have Nice Things as a surprise song,
because those are two of my favourite songs.
The Heiress Tour touches down in 51 cities on five continents.
Approximately 240,000 concertgoers are expected to attend the six shows in Toronto this year.
With an economic impact of over 282 million Canadian, people came from all over for the show.
We're from Texas.
I'm from New York.
But when I found out I can go, I was really, really excited.
I still kind of can't believe I'm here.
So far, the tour has been considered a massive success.
And as the second last stop, it seems Toronto will be no different.
It was incredible.
I love all the costumes.
She changed like probably 15 times, and they were all very sparkly.
I love the fireworks.
I'm a big fireworks guy.
They had crazy fire, fireworks.
I loved it.
It was just amazing.
Like a once in a lifetime experience.
The tour is set to conclude on December 8th in Vancouver, Canada.
