PREPARING FOR CHRISTMAS VLOG 🎄 Huge Homesense Haul & Festive Events Spend the Day with me

[Music] good morning how are we all doing I hope you're all well welcome back to my channel welcome back to a vlog I feel like it's been a couple of weeks since I've been vlogging CU of my gift guides and I just feel like I've missed kind of vlogging catching up with you guys it being a bit more informal chatting day-to-day stuff so welcome back and I mean Halloween's over Autumn is Autumn's still officially here but only for like a week is it when does it turn to Winter is it end of November I'm pretty sure it's around Barney's birthday which is the end of November so yeah anyway I hope you guys are all doing well how have we all been these last couple of weeks has anyone put up their decorations yet my plan today is to get kind of a little bit more organized in terms of guys look so many of you asked where this was from in my gift guide videos this is Cox and Coxs I got it was it last year or the year before I can't remember um one of their like they clust them as indoor outdoor trees as well so you can have them Outdoors but I just think it's beautiful very minimal oh I just love it anyway um yeah my plan is to get kind of a little bit prepared this is literally the only Christmas I have in the house currently I am a sort of mid November pup decorations I used to be start of December but since doing this job I've just brought it forward and forward each year I think one year I did it first week of November as well so I am ideally mid November I'm starting to feel a bit more festive now so we're going to get some well I've got actually loads of stuff that I've been buying over these last couple of weeks that I've not been vlogging from places like home sents Home Bargains I do want to pop two home uh sorry home scents and just have one little last trip there this morning just any last minute bits and then I will do a pretty chunky haul for you so make sure if you haven't already just get comfy for this video it's probably going to be a long one a chatty one lots of stuff to show you and yeah hope you guys enjoy so yeah on the agenda for today is to get the house kind of a bit more prepared and organized make sure all the Autumn bits are away and prep for Christmas it's felt like I don't know I've not really felt as christmy this year I think because we had such a mild October it felt like it just felt warm and it just it's got to feel cold to feel festive anyway I've got a cozy jump on today this one is from Primark I love it I have it in a few different colors this gray one I have got um I'll show you actually I've got a baby blue I've got this color which was the first one that I bought um and then this year I also stocked up on this gray one and the blue one as well but yeah this is the blue one nice and icy and wintry I love it it's nice and thick and cozy but I do just layer up underneath a long t-shirt just so you can see a little pop of white here and on my collar just to kind of add a bit of layering bit of Dimension we've got some leggings today I'm wearing my Lululemon leggings the most comfortable ones ever and you guys are always asking me the Amazon dupe alternative which are more than half price so I will leave those ones linked as well that is what I'm wearing today just some cozy socks ready to start feeling festive I've de aumed in here this area the console table is looking pretty empty pretty sorry for itself and then in here you may be able to tell I've cleared this space over here ready for the tree so I've just popped the um that unit which was over this side so I've moved the bureau over to that side which I think I'm going to keep it over there and then this chair for now I just have popped in this corner again ready for the tree to be placed here we'll just move these a couple of bits as well it's quite a big tree the one we've got from balam Hill so it comes out quite far and this year I have a little train truck to go around the outside which is so exciting I might even put the train truck up now when I say now when I decorate in here and then move it into the kitchen area when we get the real tree in December cuzz I I don't want to get a real tree this early because there's just no point um it'll just start dropping too soon only sort of yeah I'm pretty pretty done I'm still using up this which is one of those things it's like well there's nothing wrong with it we barely used any but it's a marshmallow pumpkin latte soap so I might even just keep it under the sink and just bring it out as when we need it um and then otherwise the only other thing left I suppose that is somewhat um or Tel is this tray that we've had on the island I love this I got it from home SS this year just some little napkins which I can pop away and bring out next year little Salt and Pepper Pot that we have from the white company and yeah so this we can say goodbye to go straight in my fully stocked seasonal cupboard oh this is quite heavy I need to get out a festival I might actually have a for a festive kind of tray when we're in home sent so that I can replace it straight away I'm going to pop these away as well cuz I don't want W Tel at all in the house I almost like to just have cuz I'm not decorating today I'll be decorating within the next few days I almost like to have a few days in between Autumn and Christmas decor with no Autumn decco just to kind of like have a bit of a spruce of the house up clean like minimal blank canvas Fresh Start before decorating for Christmas um oh I've got an event as well this afternoon which I might take you to it's like a kind of christmy not fullon event more of a drop in type thing at the um shop that I've mentioned before on this channel called homebird they're just local to this area though I think like Manchester Liam chesher they've got their Christmas range out so I'm going to go in store have a quick look and I think they've got a couple of little goodie bags that we my handing out the time has come we're going to have to destroy this I just wanted to dock you there's something about doing a puzzle that makes me feel like I just need to document the fact that it's finished it's done and now that officially it's done I feel like I can justify Autumn to be popped away ready for Christmas to come out but oh guys this is just so upset thing look it's so solid because it's uh all intact but yeah I'm going to have to this is pains my soul oh dear just had a knock at the door and I've had a delivery of a couple of parcels I popped in an order from Hollister and also ABAC cromi for some kind of like new festive [Music] comfies oh I mean I've ordered a lot to try and hopefully send some of this back got a funny feeling not much will go back okay so abber cromi had a couple of jumpers that I like the look of but they weren't in stock so I will be checking back on there but I did see the Men's Wear had some really gorgeous pj bottoms this was actually before I put in an order with Hollister so hopefully I'll decide between the two and whichever ones I prefer keep cuz these are men's I wasn't sure on the fit of them but I just love the print of them so this first set how cute I went for a medium and I think a medium will be fine actually you can bring in the waist but cute kind of city in Winter print with the little cars with the Christmas trees on and then they also had these ones and this was similar to the uh style that they had in the jumpers that they didn't have in stock but it's like kind of a Budweiser clab with the big um what they called the big shers fun fact where we used to live in Virginia there was a theme park called Bush Gardens which we I think we were seasonal members or something we used to go quite often and they had somewhere on the grounds there I can't remember it's like a kind of animal area and they had these huge Stables with these massive shy horses in which were used for the bud wiser advertisements and we or like my parents knew a woman that worked behind the scenes with the horses so we were able to get a bit of like a VIP tour backstage and was able to go in and meet the horses meet the other animals so if ever you've seen that kind of Budweiser advertisement it's probably more in America that you would see it though with the big shy horses I met those shy horses love the color of these ones as well these ones are the same as the other slightly cuffed but not like tight and then last ly this top which again was in the men's wear and they only had a double XL so I thought more as like a sleep 9y um or just like comfy around the house but it might be too big we'll see on the front it's just got a cute little festive hat hat house with abian fet like a kind of log cabin and then on the back a larger version of that image oh reminds me of being back in Finland in lap land it was just the most magical trip that okay onto Hollis oh my goodness this set oh so they had a bigger range so after I put in that order with without Crum that's when I went onto Hollister and saw that they had more bits so I think these might be the deepers but guys look at this pajama set oh my goodness so the bottoms come with the Hollister waistband and they're just wide leg simple this is definitely fitting with the theme that we're going with this year with the whole traditional I'm kind of basting it off traditional ralle around with a few teddy bears in there some tartans some Reds some greens um and yeah I love it so there are the bottoms and then the top is like a shirt this is like a kind of soft cotton flannel type fabric really really nice and comfy I got the top in a large and I think the Bottom's in a medium yeah we'll leave all of these linked below because if you wanting to get your hands on some festive pajamas I feel like cister is a great shout so this is another set that I went for oh wow this is super soft this one's more of like a brushed cotton the bottoms in a medium look like oh my God these are so soft very very cozy so again little cute teddy bear prints oh my goodness fresh Christmas pajamas every year trick to do this treat yourself to them now because if you're getting them for Christmas it's kind of like well Christmas is over enjoy them for the entirety of this Christmas period um oh I love it and this one just a cute little kind of slim fit well I did size up to a large but you know as opposed a shirt just little top and trousers okay and then bringing that teddy bear theme out of the Sleek wear I also got this jumper which I thought would be perfect with my Lululemon leggings that I've got in that burgundy color although haven't said that I don't know if this is going to be long enough I did order an extra large so that I could have an oversized fit I don't know if this is long enough to be no it's not to be worn with leggings comfortably cuz my bum will be out maybe better with jeans or I'm just around the house with those burgundy leggings and some cozy cream net socks could be cute oh I love it bought this actually as just a basic little again like I said for their Basics I feel like abor and Hollister do them really well just a basic little white tea getting this allowed me to get I think it was free shipping or an extra discount or something so I thought what can I add to check out that I'll actually that I you know want and love and I went for a little ribbed kind of baby tea I've only had the baby te's in the regular of fabric but this ribbed version I love really nice okay I also got this again festive jumper I'm going to be I think I'll do a try on reel or Tik Tok or maybe upload on both if you want to see them all on me head over to my Tik Tok or Instagram but look at this jumper this would be good with burgundy leggings it being a little bit longer feel like I need to book a skiing trip oh what's that one oh I got another teddy bear one I forgot about that okay so this one is like this jumper but made festive cute right little teddy bear this one's just far more subtle with a little nod to Christmas little teddy bear with a bow so so cute and then lastly this isn't festive I just thought would be a really nice new loungewear set to wear because I live in loungewear and wear it so often I tend to get through them quite quickly like they get a lot of wear especially like knitwear and stuff that maybe bubbles or it just doesn't feel as fresh when you've you know like when you first buy it and you put on a fresh new Lounge we set it's just like the best thing ever so I felt like it was in need of that fresh Lounge feeling again so I ordered this set to obviously like I said not just be festive but the bottoms look like oh they're actually from ghilly hick on Hollister and these are in a medium and they're just like a wide well they're slightly flared I think actually pair of Bottoms in a medium with a matching hooded zip top so the top is a little bit cropped so you just wear the kind of set together just on its own for around the house and cozy comfy Vibes that was a workout I've basically just unboxed this new mattress that we've got from Emma which you guys know I've talked before though it's kind of similar to the tof last I want to be honest and then they've got these mini hash browns out cute m better than the normal hash browns 100% you know some people are really triggered by hearing chewing and people eating next to them but I mean I'm not like oh yeah ASMR but it doesn't really bother me I don't really think about it but yeah some people absolutely hate it don't they I did go for a sausage and egg McMuffin except I have no egg so basically it's just oh no they've included the egg oh well I don't want the egg there's something about a perfectly circular egg like that that just goes through me a little bit I usually give it to uh Barney but he's not here he's not in the car with me today although H sense are dog friendly so and I do have quite a bit from home s already today is just like a final look before heading home and giving you a haul because honestly I have so much to show you it's ridiculous uh I I think it's because this year I've been kind of honing in on the whole vintage Christmas theme to decorate with and I have a lot of white company style minimal Christmas and a little less of the traditional fun decorations delish so we'll have one little last look around home scent then we'll head back home and I will show you everything that I got before heading off to the event tonight [Music] feeling alone kind of Misty waiting now for you to come it's hold again but I know we be warm sitting by with fire and [Music] dream tell me again with a whisper little things that I want to hear and the Stars smil feels like I'm sat back with this I've just bought everything upstairs in this filming room sat down and I'm just like exhausted I feel like I need to put my hair up oh do you know what I'm going to start with an exciting delivery because I've got a collection of different things mostly home sents most of these items are from home sents couple of bits from Home Bargains but I do have a parcel that I'm yet to open so it feels like Christmas and I just cannot wait cuz everything inside it is individually wrapped it's from the brand fall and more which I've shown you guys before they do the cutest little seasonal this one oh cute another little ceramic tree um I think I have one similar to like to this one actually they look quite cute side by side don't they o I feel like this could be a little house for like a little village scene yeah very cute and it's a light up one as well can you see it l up in there so cute I love the little entry it's got the little trees either side of the front door ah what did I say a bigger one to go alongside it I love this color love it and if you prefer the white one they also have a larger version of the white tree too okay last one oh cute yeah I've seen these they're like a little festive so cute um truck this one's more like a camper with the tree on the top why is it that we love a truck with a tree on the top Christmas tree on the top it's just driving home for Christmas Vibes this one lights up too love oh thank you so much to the girls at a fallen more oh guys this isn't even home decor but I went into Costco the other day and they've got these huge panon this is a chocolate one so I've got this to pop away in the cupboard for Christmas morning oh I also had a PR parcel literally I'm just delving into this palette that I've had to ins side to show you some bits but Loxy tan do some gorgeous festive packaging this year they brought out this style which is just very diores designer this one's the fragrance collection vabina and it comes in this box you don't even need to gift wrap it if you're gifting this for Christmas inside they've got a load of products from their uh the AR range you've got the vain odor tolet vain shower gel body moisturizer hand cream and they've even got matching cute little B balls which I thought would be good for as little table gifts as well this one's the flours range and again the vain oh and then they've got this yellow one the car T oh my God it smells amazing can smell it outside the packaging do you see what I mean with the whole deal rest print with these super cute told you this is a mismatch of loads of different things I've even got some Supermarket finds as well so I popped into SS Brews and got these for tree decorations you know what I was saying to you about having tree decorations that aren't the purple that Cab's do well lint do them these cute little teddy bears they also did these in M&S which I picked up the red and gold again just for a little less purple cuzz I'm not really got Purple in my theme um and then whilst I was in m& I stopped up on some again some more festive christmy treats and they have these cinnamon bum bites which just look so delicious festive gingerbread house now how gorgeous is that for actual decor for out on your kitchen um or like Pantry unit I'm definitely having this out on display this one is folded with Gingerbread biscuits which are the perfect size to I love these ones to Pop um like in a hot chocolate pop some squirty cream on and throw a little gingerbread on top and they also do I've actually delved into this already cuz again I bought this a few days ago and Tom and I were Keen to try it so peppermint bark it's oh it smells it's like after eights basically but like a massive slab of it it's honestly delicious and then lastly from M&S whil I was in there I saw this cute little decoration which I thought would fit the theme it was £5 and it's a cute little like envelope that you could actually even pop inside there a little note to your future self maybe like you could write a little note to yourself at Christmas or what a tradition that I've seen people doing each year is once you take down the decorations to pop maybe £40 in here just a couple of2 notes so that each year when you get out the Christmas decorations and you're decorating you can put that towards like a nice little takeaway for while you're doing Christmas decorating and then back to sains spres whilst I was in there I saw the well I just needed to get some Jam I thought I would try this fig flavored that they do the Bon mammo um but look they also had these seasonal spreads they had like festive hazelnut chocolate spread and then they also have caramelized Apple spread which sounds so Divine so I got that to try and then a little stocking filler table gift cracker filler gift see as I'm doing my own crackers this this year I saw this in their gifting section I thought I would pick it up maybe for one of the men it's a little bottle opener but it's like a stainless steel it looks like a ace of spades card but yeah you can actually use it as a bottle opener that was only about 4B I also saw in SS breze these digestives just a good old classic but with the gingerbread flavor and also these these were I can't remember they were only a few pounds and they had a couple of different designs they had a g gingerbread one and this candy cane one I went for the candy cane one it's nice thick glass as well these are great dupes for the anthropology glass wear that they do right I'm going to move on to home sense home sens is a whoer I've got one 2 3 4 five six bags so let's try and whiz through this so firstly this is this not the epitome of traditional cozy Christmas retro vintage so it's just this gorgeous cushion with burgundy on one side and then they had loads of these kind of cushions this year it's got like a slight gold thread running through it of course I had to pick the design with a couple of golden puppies on so so cute Barne was a christmy puppy I'll see if I can insert a photo of him at Christmas where he was still with the breeder cuz he was only 3 weeks old for his first day at Christmas again vintage Christmas but cute I thought this would make a a gorgeous addition to the Home Decor it's this little rocking horse in cream and gold it's quite heavy actually it's just I think it's wooden $7.99 that one was oh I forgot to tell you how much the question was it was $14.99 I did find a tray so I'm going to try this one as a it's actually like a server platter tray which they had in a few different sizes I went for the biggest one at $22.99 these are solid metal um but I thought I would use this in the interim period rather than a server platter with food for a popping our salt and pepper and bits and Bobs on for on the island I also got a couple of stockings these gorgeous red bouay ones in this kind of like deep burgundy color from fan these were oh God what's that that's just falling out sorry I thought it was a bu I think it's just a piece of uh paper anyway $6.99 these ones are and this one just says what does it say Santa's Workshop cute and then this one said believe so I like to gift people's pres in those and then they can do with them what they want okay I saw this mug online and when I was in store I was like I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for that mug and I found it they actually had quite a few of them they had them with stag antlers on and then they had these gorgeous Christmas tree designs how retro vintage festive is that even with the design of the handle oh it's just so so so pretty the beading on the edge is big as well so that is a big big hot chocolate or like a Camal tea at night whenever I have like a mint tea or Camal tea I like loads of hot water and um yeah I love that mug it was only $4.99 I saw this candle with this lid which of course had to come home with me given the theme this year oh it smells lovely this one as well this one is winter Pine and it was $88.99 for my American girlies out there I was having a brown On Target as always I always look at Target every single year for inspo and they had so many things that I wanted to buy to the point where I actually thought I was going to put in an order and use the ship it to service to get it to come over to the UK but I just don't I think I'm too late I don't think it'll arrive in time so anyway I saw this Frame and it reminded me of one that I saw on target where they had a frame shaped like this and then they had this kind of like painted abstract Christmas tree design and I thought I could maybe do a DIY or maybe pick up a print from like Etsy or something and pop it in this Frame cuz how gorgeous is this for like a festive vintage festive Christmas themed frame so it's was only $7.99 and I did also pick up another one it's in one of the other bags so when we get to it I'll show you um I got some Christmas cards and again that style I just think is so classic just a big kind of Victorian Edwardian door like that $5.99 for these ones and inside you get 16 cards and envelopes and then I also got to to write them tapping into my inner creativity side here $7.99 they have these do you know what this will make a cute little stocking filler gift actually these um what they call calligraphy sets you get a little pot of ink with it and a few different um what it fountain pen tips nibs I don't know what you call them but how I feel like that could look really nice in the Christmas cards that'll probably be in like a vlogmas episode if you want to see how I get on with that I also picked up some festive baking Essentials these cute little cupcake cases and also they come with the Toppers which these Toppers I think are so cute they get a pack of 36 for how much $3.99 I got another candle you can't go to home sense without getting at least one candle and I got more than one so there we go this one is in the sense simmering spices and it smells super cinnamony spicy very very nice and festive and it comes with these um one of the sand and fog ones this and it comes with this little kind of ribbon topper with the little candy canes on another mug I maybe we don't need all these mugs maybe I could gift some of these as gifts for Christmas but it'll pay me to give them away but this one was again $4.99 and I just thought again that Vint vintage retro Christmas theme milk for Santa milk for Santa how cute the font and everything just screams traditional Christmas um what's in here when they wrap them up individually I'm like it's like Christmas um oh yeah Christmas decoration I'm loving these kind of like gingerbread themes as well so $3.99 for this and it's quite a chunky big hanging bble decoration that one you know what I saying my theme being inspired by like Ralph Lauren traditional Christmas teddy bears Tartan well they had Ralph Lauren details in and loads of them this was my favorite pattern and favorite design of the mall and it is um I thought my pajamas are in here from I'm wearing some pajamas at the moment from sabur which are literally this Tartan um I was going to show you but anyway Ralph Lauren set of two tea towels $7.99 and then again for another gifting sack but just a slightly smaller one this one it just says reindeer express delivery to the North Pole and that one the smaller ones are $3.99 I got these as uh potentials for what I might use for my table gifts this year so I've got my build my own crackers which I'm going to put my own little mini gifts in but I think I'll have some bigger items like as a little table gift for everyone so I thought I could pick up these and if not I can use them as baking boxes that I can maybe give around give away but but they're quite a shallow box it's only $2.99 for a set of six and because there are seven of us this year at our Christmas as we are hosting had to pick up two boxes but like I said they'll come in handy as well just for even for baking and filling with home baked goods or even for Stuff um like on boxing day when everyone goes home any leftovers we can pop in them and spread the love because otherwise we'll end up eating it all okay and then I also picked up this G gingerbread house just this wooden it lights up as well little gingerbread house let me see if I can if it needs batteries yet does need batteries oops but it's just a cute little gingerbread house wooden gingerbread house so this is definitely I think in the front room going to be a bit of a continual Trend just the odd gingerbread themed thing here and there I'm not going to go full on she says with another gingerbread and the gingerbread hanging decoration and loads more gingerbread stuff but I like it and the reason why I'm drawn to it is cuz it's very Pottery Barn I love Potter Barn I get inspired by their Decor every single year for Halloween and Christmas and I feel like this would fit the Potter bar theme this one was $116.99 got some traditional gift wrap from home sents firstly these which again is this not the perfect gift wrap with the teddy bears on and The Tartan so I picked up a green and a red one and these are 3 m each and they are $2.49 each and then this one the burgundy the Santa retro Vintage Santa it's just says Santa's deliveries for December 25th Merry Christmas this one was $6.99 as a jumbo roll it is 9.3 m mismatch of loads of different wrapping paper this year um I also got a cushion another cushion we've got the Vintage cushion but we've also got this gorgeous snowflake cushion very very soft and very very cozy and what I do each year is um $14.99 this one is donate the unused inner pillow if they're not chopp which this one isn't and also it helps with storage massively if I just take off the cover and put this over one of our already existing cushions just s saves on a lot of space cuz I found myself keeping every single cushion in storage and the cushions and throws like festive editions or Halloween editions just took up so much space that um yeah I now do that and it just helps massively and then I got this again I'm thinking like investing in quality key pieces each year that I bring out every single year and just fills me with that happiness that I kind of like the Nostalgia of bringing the same decoration out each year and I feel like this is definitely going to be one of those classic decorations that I get out time and time again and fills my heart with joy so it's a sleigh but it's this metal very very heavy they had these in silver as as well but I went for this brassy yeah it's like an antique it's not gold well it's obviously gold but it's it's not like a yellowy gold it's really rustic looking so I went for this one $19.99 let me know if we just have it on its own or do we pop up a couple of pine cones in there a little Christmas tree do we fill it do we leave it let me know your thoughts and suggestions on that one down to the last two bags I told you this was going to be a chunky haul last two home tense bags anyway got some more bits over there but oh I got this this isn't even festive but how nice is this it's just jot string 64 M it was with the Christmas decorations though so if you're wanting to keep your eyes peel for this just bear that in mind but it comes on this gorgeous dark mango wood base and this one was $5.99 I love that I also got these two star decorations that will just simply sit on top of a coffee table book and that be the decor so so pretty kind of like stagger them as well cuz I've got both sizes the larger one and the smaller one the larger one was $7.99 the smaller one $5.99 I love these tea tows this is a set of two tea tows with this kind of like ski theme lap land vintage retro with the snow shoes this one was it says $5.99 this is the other little frame that I was saying I got but with with a bow on and it's just a tiny little miniature again good for styling on a little coffee table book only $4.99 so I need to get a little print for in here as well so I will get on to Etsy and have a look if there are any or even Trove prints do some really nice prints I don't think they do circular ones so I will have to cut it to size um or Deno as well we'll see what they've got on off for this year but how cute is that with a little festive bow as well so I'll bring that out every Christmas in fact I could even pop a little photo of like when we were at the tree farm or something last year in there vintage retro Christmas theme and yet again this is from the brand tinsel and trims at obviously home sent $5.99 for this one and it's a set of six wooden gift Hoppers yeah like little chunky you can see how thick they are love it love love love these tea tows or hand towels hand towels so for the downstairs L this will go in lovely and as we're hosting as well this year maybe even in the spare bathrooms we could pop these it's just a set of two with the beige gingerbread cute little pattern love them I also got this Bell which I have seen people buying and switching out the ribbon cuz it's a very red ribbon and yes I'm incorporating a bit of burgundy and a bit of festive darker deeper Reds in to my theme this year but I also agree that I think I might switch this out for like a really dark green ribbon would be really nice or $7.99 you might be able to tell she Jingles but just styled up again on a coffee table book even with no ribbon on stunning oh again I forgot I got these in fact which ones do I prefer I like both of them got this vintage ski it's kind of like the ABAC cromie stuff that I was showing you earlier and the Hollister stuff but I also have spotted these set of two is the same is it the same brand no uh no it's the same brand as the yeah it's the same brand as the gingerbread hand towels but these ones are tea towels and again they've just got that kind of vintage feel to them with the simple print of like log cabins little reindeer trees forests love that got this cozy throw which I thought would go with this um snowflake cushion maybe in the kitchen living area on that sofa um or even yeah I think I would put it in there this Martha Stewart originally at $19.99 if I show you you might be able to see it's got little cozy um Christmas trees on okay last two items now from Home sents guys they stock replica I'll leave these ones linked below I did order these ones online and again I thought they'd make great gifts one of them came in cellophane the other one didn't so I would still gift it even without the cellophane but just bear that in mind these two scents that I got and found online they've got more though but the Autumn Vibes which might start burning now and The Whispers in the library this is what the candle itself looks like very simple but they smell amazing okay A little battery switch up therez I've been talking for far too long I'll try and whiz through these bits now but from a small business called Katie lemon I think they're called I found they did these gorgeous prints and stuff for gift wrap and for um cards so I've got this uh one which is I think they called it tobogan and you probably can tell there there's just a well I got I think I got 10 sheets of that one and then I also ordered this one here which has just got these retro again like Santa prints on I did get some card so let me see if I can show you in the card version cuz I kind of want to keep that closed up for now these miniature Christmas cards of the tobogan print so you can see kind of well then it's not of the exact same but it's very similar theme so that one is the toog then they've also got this Vintage Santa Claus how cute so I got those and then they also had some vintage kind of like striped Merry Christmas cards and then I also got for the table gifts I made these um or had these created from Etsy and you know I love to include a scratch card within my table gift or Christmas cracker wherever I'm going to put it I had these created these would even make for a really nice table place setting cuz they have our name on but they are holders for your um scratch cards you can just pop a little scratch card in here it's got a little Wax Seal stamp on there hold on I had one created for everyone who is here on Christmas Day and I just think they are Fab you can pick and choose the color of your wax seal stamp where did I get this one from TJ Morris is that BNN little traditional Tartan this one's home bargain a little Santa Claus on there holding a sack and a Christmas tree I got one of these bags as well these are 99p great for carrying presents to and from like family houses like if you're hosting or you're going somewhere else for Christmas we'll probably put um Tom's niece's gifts in these oh guys look okay this one is open cuz I had one last night and they are the M&S dupes I wanted to give you an honest review of what they were like the M&S jupes of the chocolatey custard chocolatey coated custard creams oh wow chocolatey coat custard creams they do the bbin as well BBN are in another bag I was trying to see what the difference could be to see if I could tell you how they're different they're not different $1.99 the M&S On's are £350 speaking of M&S though I did have to get this I saw it online I was like I'm just going to have to get it LS for Santa little cookie jar inside they are little cookie biscuits but they're actually shaped in like little envelopes so so cute oh look there you go you can see little chocolate chip cookie and Vel opes B&M bag here and just got some fabric softener got some pimple patches which we'll probably put in Tom's niece's stockings some elbow grease they brought out these scrub mate Scrub Daddy dupes in white which I prefer and they're a little snowman so i' got a couple of those some toothpaste some bin bags bit of a boring bag from Dell I popped in and got some of this like dark green Tartan £3 gift wrap and they also had a couple of other bits that I picked up to go alongside it they had these gift tags which match at £1 these were from Home Bargains so yeah that big bag that I showed you earlier was Home Bargains cuz I got a couple of others as well 69p and then 79p for this one 59p for the smaller one so I got that design as well I got what oh I got this I'm not sure if I'm going to use this we'll see how we go but if not it could be good as like um filler paper for within a gift yeah within a gift but I thought this could be quite nice draped across the tree this is my inso I'll pop an image on screen of what I'm talking about I don't know if this is maybe too thick but I'm going to try it on the tree and see how it looks and then for Tom's nieces I've got these little hanging gingerbread letters which we'll use as little tags on their sacks of gifts here's the bbin that they also do and then again for fitting the vibe we've got this from Dan Elm this 3 little Buble dunelm have loads of really nice Christmas decorations this year dunelm as well how could I not Christmas Red Velvet Bow Tie for Barney these ones are from B&M I got some more ribbon for gift wrap also I'm thinking for actually decorations as well um little dark burgundy Velvet Ribbon three for5 and then this velvet burgundy bow which we can maybe find some use for if it's maybe even on the tree and also some vintage retro gift tags yes again got plenty of gift tags out I think these were were these these might have been Home Bargains some seasonal crisps hot honey pigs and blankets and spicy pra cocktail G Home Bargains this one toilet fresh astonished they do a new scent of winter spice I also got these for myself when I have a cozy bath necks we've got some um magnesium Rich Epsom salts really good for a deep relaxation good for before bed as well but this is the winter scent it's in fur needle seedar wood and bergamont I thought that sounded amazing some hanging Ceramics which you can Spritz with the sprays to make them smell lovely especially on a tree if you have a tree that isn't real if you just want to decorate and pop around the house I got these three different designs the gingerbread the little uh car and also the Christmas tree R dox bubble bath I always find rayx just bubbles up the best and this one again is in the winter Edition bble season with black currant and Thyme scented and then lastly from home bargain the ashore hand wash I'm thinking of using this as a refill but actually what it comes in is really nice as well gingerbread biscuit scentered hand wash yeah it's clear so I could just to count this WOW smells a very Ginger festive cinnamony that one and we're done that was a Whopper of a haul I was just about to to head out to well I am just about to head out to the event at home bird but I also just had yet again another knock at the door and yet again another parcel arrive this time from LEL which I showed I've literally just opened it but popped out here showed before some like Lounge wear that they sent me I think I did an Instagram reel showing you there but I just thought just before I head out the door I quickly show you guys some of the pieces that they've sent in these are new in as well so they are fresh hopefully plenty of stock so you can get your hands on them if you want some new Lounge wear sets now this top I love the quarter zip this in a large UK 14 but because it's already got that oversized fit yeah you only would if you want an oversized fit I'd say size up like one or one or two sizes I'm usually 10 to 12 so 14 is perfect or looks perfect anyway and then they have this in different colors as well I went for the kind of like gray Mal really pretty so the joggers I went for in a medium organic wide leg joggers I love a wide leg jogger it's definitely something that I have started buying a bit more recently just for Comfort some cozy socks love these like I was saying earlier burgundy leggings I got from Lululemon with like a I don't know the teddy bear burgundy top or something to have these Little Burgundy socks as well burgundy really is the color of the Season maybe I should do burgundy Nails next and then lastly from LEL I got the uh what they called the black winter flare leggings again in the medium these ones are like in comparison to the other leggings that I've had before they're very thick and cozy and they're almost a hybrid between a legging and a jogger and obviously like I said a flar legging again if you want want to see those ones on I will do triy on over on my Instagram right let's head off to the event now let's see what new festive bits at homebird has instore well I'm all for Christmas all the happy smil and the wishes and I want it all from the lights to The Missle tone tell me one thing is there anything that you're missing I will keep you warm as soon as you remove that snow whatever we do we will be all right these holiday wonders will open your mind may all your wishes back home now feeling very festive after that event have little minc pies I'm not really a mince pie person it's one of those things I really wish I enjoyed and I have such a sweet tooth but none of the Christmas desserts apart from your log do I like Christmas pudding Christmas cake mince pies I don't know why I just I've never liked any of them and I try every year I'm like oh just come on a mince pie with some cream Brandy cream but no it's just not for me anyway I am back from the event feeling incredibly festive it such a lovely little um display of some gorgeous items I had to pick this one up when I saw this I'm thinking of doing a bit of a DIY with this one and um popping I've seen on Pinterest um popping some like vintage cowbells and a ribbon sort of tied around the top and more having it as a display board rather than sort of stacked up in the kitchen rather than actually using it it's not a chopping board anyway Got This Groove it's it is more of a server platter but I think it was how much was it I've got the receipt here was it £12 £12.95 but yeah I think that that is lovely oh in fact they've charged me how did I not know that whilst I was in there they've charged me for a makeup bag which I never ordered I know which one it is it says stuff makeup bag I remember seeing it but I didn't pick it up but that's on my receipt and that was $12.95 that I've just been charged for something that I didn't even buy it must have been like on the counter and she scanned it thinking it was mine and it's not um she did uh scan these two sets of these coasters at £4.95 how did I not think when she was charging me £42 to say oh that seems steep what would you do it's $12.95 it's a chunk of money to just give up when you've not even bought something I know exactly what it is cuz I remember seeing it but I didn't I wouldn't have bought that anyway I got some coasters these I thought white company dupes love them and yeah they were only $4.95 each for a set of four so I thought that was really good and really pretty aren't they you can use these for birthdays you could use them for New Year's Eve as well not just Christmas they're the two things that I bought and then I also got um they gave out little goodie bags which in here we've got some chocolate Hearts little Santa gnome type decoration and a little candle oh the labels come off of this but it is in warm winter falling snow little vot of candle I love using V of candles in our downstairs low kind of just burn it through whenever we've got people coming over um and it smells lovely [Music] okay it is dinner time and I am going to cook this tonight which I found in the supermarket I found it in S I just thought it look so yum and so fresh it's tagy tally carbonara but it's um I think it's like obviously yeah it's fresh pasta and it comes with everything kind of done for you it's all in this sauce packet so hopefully it's kind of like a luxury Easy Bake comes with some Parmesan cheese as well shake the bag of sauce before opening then pour the sauce into a pan bring the sauce to a gentle boil over a medium heat then you add the fresh pasta stir to coat evenly bring the sauce back to the boil cover the pan cook for 3 minutes and you're done okay let's [Applause] see medium heat let's go with six so it's got bacon and everything in there for you already we do a little taste test a little bit of pmel those seems to be quite a lot of palmsan to be fair don't we need all of that let's give it a whirl smells delish M really nice they do a mushroom one as well I might try that one next time wow look how shiny my head is cuz there's a light right above me oh also I have my did my had my nails done I did my nails I went for ox blood CND D I'll leave my stuff that I do below these are like DIY at home gel nails so I usually get a couple of week weeks out for them we'll see how long the red lasts and see if I get bored of it cuz it's a bit harsh for me I feel like I need to put some faked down on but yeah I will leave the bits that I've got
