In the Scottish Highlands, hundreds of monster hunters have gathered with drones and infrared cameras in order to finally find the Loch Ness monster. It won't be simple though.

On Saturday, visibility was poor due to the torrential downpour and overcast clouds, making it difficult to look for the fabled "Nessie" creature. Since its first known appearance in the sixth century, the legendary monster, which according to tradition, resides in a freshwater lake in Scotland, has evaded capture and all attempts to establish its existence.

However, searching for Nessie is a longstanding tradition, and the volunteer hunters who arrived on Saturday were committed — and more prepared than those who came before.
