HIGHLIGHTS | ITALY V ARGENTINA | AUUTMN NATIONS SERIES 2024

gets his hands on it. Accuracy is impressive through the handling of the Italians on this occasion. Ioanni pops it off and just as I say it, it's dropped and as it's dropped, everybody stopped. Everybody that is, except Juan Cruz Melilla. Can he step? Oh, beautiful. Absolutely terrific. Stopped in his tracks. Cross field from Alvanoz, the kick. It's one on one and it's won by Iscro and Iscro back to Molina and one pass away. But the tackle came and still we play on and has scored Argentina's second try. There was so much happening there. And ended up 40 metres back. They need to score. This crowd know it. That team knows it. There you go. Two balls. Sensible. Lucchese in at the back of the Italian and they've called in the reinforcements of the back. Menoncelo's in there. Lina's in there. Advantage now being played and advantage is turned into a penalty try and they're on. Because that's the easiest ball to win. They get that. You move it inside and actually as you said Raul, go for the cavalry. Get the backs in. Get everyone in there. Go forward. They commit an offence. To seven. Allen successful. Flags go up. Injury assessment and didn't return and Allen with the opportunity to add the additional three and just reduce that lead down. It's up to the nine and ten Albaners and Petrano to call the shots from here but I think this will be a nice catch and drive. Montosia with that line out and it's set but Hukra goes in but I think it's going back to Rubiolo. Italy have done a decent job of starting the Molde offence but they can't complete it and it's Sklavi and Albornoz immediately looks to see if there's an opportunity to catch Italy out of place and he has caught Italy out of place and they could go end to end here. Somebody needs to grab a hold of it. Argentina have grabbed a hold of it and Albornoz is going to scamper home. And can we do something out wide? Melian has already done it once. Still really driven Argentina around the pitch hasn't he in this second half in particular. Up quickly. Italy come once more but if you come up quickly like that and don't make your tackle you leave gaps behind and away goes Moroni and Moroni feeds Godero and in they go. The substitutes combine firmly on the panic button right now in terms of the result of this game. They need to convert it and they need to do it quickly and then go again and again and again and they're starting the right way about trying to climb up the mountain. It's replacement hooker Giacomo Nisotera who gets in. You call a dominant statistic. Kicking is part of the game. It always will be. It's how you do it and how you use it and again with the access now all areas to these box kicks. It's just opening things up and they've got another one. They're in again. It's Alemano for try number six for Argentina who are absolutely rampant now. Clear head contact and you're upright so it meets the yellow card threshold. Go for off-field review. Lina and Koch just didn't have the appetite or the ability to chase that one and it's free ball for Argentina to run back and decide where they might best attack from. Where they might best attack from is down through the middle as Gonzalez continues on his way. Nice offload. He started it all back inside. It goes to Delgui. It's a magnificent seven for Argentina. Good one for Alan. Here's Lina. It's a precious little opportunity in the second half to kick and chase and attack and the opportunity he does get brings the game to a close.
