Ruud's Final Game In Charge! | Man Utd 3-0 Leicester

Manchester United have made their worst league start since 1986. That season the incumbent Ron Atkinson was replaced at Old Trafford in early November by a man called Alex Ferguson. 26 years and 38 trophies later United were the biggest and the best around but despite the occasional glitter and glory father time has forged a few cracks and creaks since then. The Reds now looking to rebuild with Ruben as from tomorrow Amirim is in. This is the uh this is the last chance that they've got to impress if you like. On Christiansen. Winks comes to greet him. Still hits Ahmed. He was so bright on Thursday against Pau. Scored both goals. Fernandes. Oh brilliant. Bruno Fernandes. 250 Manchester United appearances today and of course he's marked it with a stunner. Some space here for Masraoui to deliver and towards Fernandes. He's done it again but it could well be an own goal at the basis of that replay. Yeah. Fernandes no doubt will claim it. Maybe one final foray forward for United before half time. Here's Ahmed and still he goes and forces a really good stop from Ness Hermanson for the final action of a first half in which Manchester United are leading 2-0. Yeah. Nice pass from Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes has got the heart of the pitch to roam through here. Fernandes. Garnaccio. Garnaccio's effort. Glorious from Alejandro Garnaccio. Ruud van Nistelrooy signs off with a win and so it's on to Rupert Amarim and so van Nistelrooy's time as interim boss is concluded and in some style tomorrow the Amarim era begins.
