KQ for three comes up short. Here comes Alarcon. Alarcon goes all the way. And Torculas is there to clean it up. It's not a lot of good set plays. But I mean, what can you expect? These are two teams that are high octane. Free for a slam for the fourth point of La Salle. And a smart move brought to you by smart. What looked like a broken play ended up as a highlight reel. As Torculas pushes it into the rim. Apadiano chasing David. Agulane for three. Gets it to go! Danny Stephens is in the ballgame already as Cagulangan goes high. And Stephens with a stick back. And La Salle again still picking up full court. It's like a 2-2-1 zone press. Forcing UP to rush. But in that possession, they did not feel the rush. David to Phillips. Phillips tops out. By the way, see Francis Lopez. Jet. Two personal fouls after that technical foul. And that's why he's on the bench as Phillips. Spreading out. And then forcing Phillips to go one-on-one with no help. Which might result in a three-point play anyway. As Phillips shrugs off the defense. Look at our hoops. All-pro play brought to you by Puma. Get a stop, get a defensive rebound, and sprint, push, and find the high-percentage bucket. 15 points now off fast breaks for UP. Dabin inside! With the left hand! Look at this play again. Look at that. Off that turnover. Sprinting down all lanes. Alarcon doing a great job finding Torkulas for that easy back shot. Mike Phillips right behind the spray. Alarcon for three. No! Jacob Paila. Alarcon. Cagulangan. Fly-by. Down it goes! Phillips waiting, waiting to trap. Velezilda. And pass. Picked off, picked off rather. Quimbao for three. Down it is! Lost sight of KQ. Just looking away and speeding up. Back to Abadiano. And they settle in with 15 to shoot. Oh, you got Phillips on JD. JD gets away! The tap back to Lasal. Tungo gets away. The set-up job to Mike Phillips. It's all about UP from their ability to run the break. Look at Lasal here. Sprinting down classic. Three on two. And Mike Phillips off that pass. Rising up over the defense. What a pass by Tungo. Switching directions. Rubico gets the switch. Oh, what a pass. Oh, what a pass indeed! The vision of Rubico there. But KQ's man sleeping. And KQ's waxing hot. And the lead is down to one. Look at Phillips come out with a show. Inside! Alter! What a pass by Torculas! Here at the end of this first half. Having trouble with the pressure a while ago. In the meantime, for UP, it's that guy. Cabulangan who casually just drops in a floater with Ododo, Baila, Torculas. And the five of UP. Oh, I forgot. Harold Alarcón also part of that quintet as Agudale drops in the bucket. Ramiro will trigger. Seven on the shot clock. Mangalala goes to his strong side. What a play out of a timeout. Getting the repossession. Here comes Felicilda. Setting up Torculas! Scampering all over. Here comes Lozal. Up top to Guglielma. Let him go under Austria, forcing him to drive. Phillips again! Phillips for 14 points. Harold Alarcón has really struggled in this game too, Jet. As KQ does it! What a tough shot for his 12th point off a P.S. Bankable assist of the half. The challenge to the other inside. And now UP has to go one-on-one. And it's a good thing that Cagulangan. González recovers. Sprays it out to David for three. Down and good! Seven on the 24.
