We're here at Florence Booth Hall.
Hi, my name is Natalie.
I'm a third year law student and I'll be taking you on a tour
of where I live in this incredible Uni Park campus.
So we're located on the west side of campus and a huge bonus
of living on campus is free access to the David Ross Sports Centre,
which has a swimming pool, climbing wall, fitness suites and a huge gym.
This is the main common room here.
It's a great spot to hang out with your friends and playing a bit of pool.
This was actually the first purpose built hall on Uni Park campus,
founded by Florence Booth herself.
We're here in the cinema room.
Me and my friends like to come here and watch films during the evening.
Here's the dining hall.
It looks pretty empty now, but it does get pretty busy for breakfast and dinner.
There's plenty of things to choose from, and it's so great because I don't have to cook.
Here is my room.
It's a premium ensuite.
It comes with a comfy three quarter size bed and an ensuite bathroom,
which is very convenient.
I've made it my own by putting up some decorations.
It's a really great space to come and chill out after my lectures.
You can choose from a variety of room types here at Florence Booth.
All of them come with a really comfy bed, a great amount of storage and Wi-Fi included.
Even though we're in a catered hall, if you ever fancy making a snack,
there's a pantry in each block that has all of your essentials,
like the kettle, toaster and microwave.
Right outside, we have our own tennis and basketball court,
which is great if you fancy a bit of exercise.
While you stay here, if you have any questions or need help with anything,
you can head to the Welcome Point West.
And if you have any large packages to collect,
you can go to the Derby Post Room, which is only a short walk away.
If you need to get to another campus, don't worry.
You can get the Hopper bus, which is completely free.
And if you want to head into the city centre, you can get the bus or the tram,
which takes around 15 minutes.
The Residential Experience Team supports your well-being once you live in halls.
There are lots of activities to join in with, and the team is always on hand
if you have any worries about being away from home.
Here you go. That's Florence Booth Hall.
I love staying in such a great campus.
Come and check it out for yourself.
