Come to a comfortable seated position. Close your eyes.
Begin with a few moments of mindfulness to drop your attention deep into the inner plane.
Feel your breath moving in, your breath moving out, and let your mind's entire point of focus rest
on the steady sensation of the inflowing and the outgoing breath. To help your mind focus,
draw your attention inside the nostrils, along the upper lip, around the rim of the nostrils,
and inside the nose. And simply allow yourself to rest on the sensation of your natural,
normal breath, the inflowing breath, the outgoing breath, and the cycle that repeats
over and over again. You might notice any various sensations related to the breath,
whether it is deep or shallow, warm or cool. All that you feel, practice remaining calm and
equanimous, neutral and objective. Practice the state of pure observation and remove or lessen
the burden of reactivity by simply returning to the anchor and resting point of the breath.
As the waters of the mind begin to still, this calm resting point of the breath
gives you an access to the true nature of mind, the vast, peaceful horizon within.
After these few moments of mindfulness, you can begin planting the seeds of new thoughts.
As the mind is quiet, naturally, there is more alignment between mind and heart,
between brain and body, between spirit and matter. And in the space of harmony, there is health,
balance, and happiness. Do not try to focus on any part of your body which might be
out of balance. Instead, simply tune into a space where healing happens, a space of harmony
and balance, where all the cells of the body vibrate in harmony, where every packet and
particle of energy within your system vibrates in harmony. Allow the state of alignment to be
expressed in balance, in health, and in healing. Naturally feel your body, your mind, and all the
systems of the body moving in fluidity, moving in alignment. Whatever obstacles may be in the way
between you and the state of alignment, whether thoughts, past patterns, or solidified, intensified
sensations in the body, let them all be there. And yet, tune into a space where balance is already
present. Tune into the emotion where healing has already happened, and you might find a sense of
relief that seems to wash over the body as you step into the frequency of health and healing.
Allow the immune system to move into optimal function, the digestive system to move into
optimal function. Let the nervous system move into regulation and balance so that all the different
parts of the body speak to each other in harmony, as friends. You might find yourself saying,
I can feel a sense of peace within. I step into harmony and balance. I allow my body to receive
the energy it needs for healing. I feel my body, my mind, and even my soul restored, recharged,
and filled up from the inside. I effortlessly give myself, my body, and my life all that is needed.
I step into balance and harmony. My thoughts, my body, my whole being, harmonious and whole.
Allow that sense of relief to wash over every cell of the body, almost as though you're drinking
from an inexhaustible source of goodness. Recognize that as you step into a space where
healing and alignment exist, then naturally the body and mind will come into balance and harmony.
Each moment you spend in this space of alignment brings you closer to living each moment of your
life in alignment and harmony. So many beings in the world live out of alignment. So many beings
are suffering physically, emotionally, mentally. As you find these moments of relief, they are not
for you alone, but actually connect you to all beings. May all beings whom are suffering come
back into alignment. May all beings in need of healing receive that healing. May all beings live
in harmony, harmony, harmony. Bring your attention now back to your breath and feel the breath moving
in, the breath moving out, noticing any subtle changes in the inner world of breath, body, and
mind. And then allow yourself a long, deep inhale. And as you exhale, softly open the eyes, start to
come back. May you carry the seeds of health, of healing, and of harmony into every moment of your life.
