(Bundesliga 2024/2025): Highlights Borussia Dortmund - St. Pauli

In transition, Zach Pauly don't want to take too many risks, there's Brandt looking for Girasi excellent save by Vasil out so quickly. For the opponent against Barcelona to create chances it's a little bit too easy, they have to defend better. Look at that, here's Smith in space and that was awkward for Koble, he made it look really easy. Described as an important player on and off the pitch by the sporting director Sebastien Kael. He has given away this free kick taken by Smith. Played in brilliantly, a look across to the linesman, the flag does not go up and Morgan Ghilavoggi has given Zach Pauly the lead. Let's have a look, is Ghilavoggi offside, wow that's close. I think it is 10 centimeters. Just as they did against Borkum and the goal does not stand. Offside is the call. Oh he saved Hoffenheim straight away, now he's one of the best coaches in the world. Closes delivery and the header is perfect Rami Benzebaini finds a way. Because he likes to go forward and then across with a left foot in swing. Wow what a fantastic skill from Benzebain, it was from that area, it was the hard cross to find the corner. And so thought about the shot, Schlotterbeek and Brento, free header surely had to do better. Then Sam Pauly can switch over, can be solid. Here's Brandt, Guillaume Brandt, good save Vasil, hit that really strongly and firmly. Here's Girasso, Brandt, Girasso, good block again by Vasil. And he's coming closer and again involved, Julian Brandt played the final pass, you can feel it, next chances are coming. Gittins delivery, oh I hope they missed it. Girasso didn't get there at all and Marlon has put it wide. Brilliant delivery by Gittins. Possibility. Another Freund adventure. Here's Bratt, thanks. Making space, shot charged down and it's sat up really nicely. What a strike, Eric Schmidt with a thunderbolt. Unbelievable hits and for all their work, all of their endeavour, Zach Pauly have been rewarded. It is 1-1. A piece, what a shot. Opened up Zach Pauly as often as they'd like but here's Gittins turning on the turbos, great pass and there is Seru Girasso. On fire, the club and country, he is becoming a cast iron, goal guarantee. Now the Duna Parker fortress, here's Riazon, here's Brandt, they can finish it. Saved by Vasil and on the follow-up the effort from Riazon, he's blocked as well. Irvine with a flick, oh what a chance. Zwickauer got right underneath it, there was the moment, there was the opportunity. Away by Gittins. Borussia Dortmund maintain their 100% home records but boy they had to fight hard for this one. Seru Girasso their hero with a late winner.
