We would probably get about 10 to 20 people per day greeting her.
Usually around the four o'clock, five o'clock mark she'd be sitting near the front door.
Hubs is just happy with your time, she's just happy with your pats, she's just happy with you arriving.
She did know her regular neighbours, she would start wagging her tail instantly.
This started happening when she was very little. We were at the front and she was only about 16
weeks. The neighbour actually walked past but they couldn't see her because she was so little.
Once she got bigger and bigger she would perk up on the fence and wait for those neighbours and
they eventually seen her. Once she started getting taller she would start realising that these people
were here to see her. She would start wagging her tail and that's when she would start greeting.
As soon as I seen that I thought oh my gosh this is so beautiful.
We were bringing our community together without them realising. They made Hubs's day as well.
The bond with my partner and Hubs makes me think okay
that's her favourite. When he comes home she'll be at that door greeting him.
Hubs is just always there for him. I'm like wow that
connection those two have is like a father and daughter connection.
She loves everyone. Hubs reads me incredibly well. She will know when I'm upset, she'll know
when I'm happy. She's just really taken to me and that's why I like to call her my little shadow.
Our community did become our second family which I really needed at that time. It's like Hubs knew
that I needed this. She would go out of her way and greet these neighbours. Hubs has helped me
socially, she's helped me with my depression, she's helped me get out of my shell. Hubs has
changed our life.
