With a single-sided swingarm and winglets, the new CFMOTO 450 SR S stands out in the A2 segment of supersport motorcycles. But can it also deliver on the road? We found out.
In this test, we were on the road with HJC! Both the RPHA 1 and the RPHA 12 impressed us. Once a season, we feel like real superheroes—whenever HJC sends their new licensed models from Marvel and others to the 1000PS office. This time, it was two different models. The HJC RPHA 1, as a top-end racing helmet with FIM homologation, fits snugly as expected and also wraps tightly around the cheeks. It offers a solid contact feel across the entire head area. A tip for choosing the size: It runs small! If in doubt, try one size up. The workmanship of the RPHA 1 is excellent, and the helmet makes a great overall impression. In everyday use, the low noise insulation earns minor negative points. The RPHA 12 not only looks less radical in its design, but it also feels noticeably more comfortable and not as tight on the head. Both helmets impressed us visually and technically. If you're unwilling to compromise from a sports perspective, the RPHA 1 is an excellent racing helmet. But if your focus is more on road riding, the RPHA 12 will likely suffice.
