tanks from Germany. This acquisition follows an agreement between Croatian Defense Minister Ivan
Anušić and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, aiming to enhance the Croatian
armed forces' capacity and bolster Croatia's strategic partnership with Germany. As part
of the agreement, Croatia will deliver 30 M-84 tanks and 30 M-80 infantry fighting vehicles
from its stock to Ukraine, along with spare parts and ammunition. Germany will compensate
Croatia for these contributions, reducing the cost of the Leopard tanks in return,
making this exchange advantageous for all parties involved, including Ukraine.
