Welcome back to the channel, it's good to see you. Welcome back to our home with another update. Today is a very, very, very exciting day because we officially get to move some furniture in. Yeah, so we passed inspection and we're getting a CO which is a certificate of occupancy and we're going to start furnishing our home. Today we're going to be focusing on the guest suite, the guest room. We don't have everything for our bedroom yet and so we're going to start there because we're just so anxious to get started right away. I think we have everything for the guest room so it'll feel nice to just get in here in one day and like finish one room. We think you're going to love it and also at the end of the video we're going to be showing you some things that finally got done at the house that are... I don't even think we've officially like revealed the pool. Have we? No. I don't know if you can see it but it's back there. We're going to give you a lot of updates. We started moving some stuff in and then I realized what I thought I was going to put above the bed was just going to be too small. I'm not used to having ceilings that are a little bit taller. And so we ran to Target. We ran to Hobby Lobby and it was no luck. So what I think I'm going to do is look on Etsy because I have a couple like vintage paintings saved and print out one of those paintings and then go find a frame for it. And so the goal is to finish this room by the end of the night. So all the errands, all the errands we go. Wish us luck. Okay guys, so I think we've officially finished this room or at least for now. So excited. Chad has been on the phone with our patrons and so he hasn't really seen it. So we're about to get his reaction. What if I just ran into the wall? You ready? Oh my word. This is so homey. I wanted to grab like a couple different things from our rental because I felt like this needed a little like white book to make it look a little bit different. Wow. But I just, I'm so excited for our guests to sit here and be able to have their little devotional time before they come out and just cozy up and look out the nice little window. Oh, it's so exposed. It is. I think it's about to start storming, but should we show them like other parts of the house we haven't seen yet? Yep. Absolutely. You got to re-chop the pillow. Okay. Chop. Yeah. Not your best chop. Chop. I think you're going to break the pillow. I think it needs a... That doesn't chop. Is that? Why is it? This just looks... That's supposed to. That's a chop. Look at those chops. See them? Huh. Also, can we take another moment to appreciate this bedding? It does look so cozy. If you're going to have a beautiful room and a beautiful bed and all this decor and then you have like sheets that aren't cozy, you might as well not even have the room. So what do you want to show them next? I feel like we ought to show them the pool. You want to show them the pool? Yeah. Okay. There's so many things that we have to show you guys and tell you what they've done to make things work. For example, these are saloon doors, right? You see that? But they're technically shutters. Like they're antique shutters that used to be on homes. Which means that they're super light. Yeah. And saloon doors that swing back and forth, they have to be heavy enough to move on their own. So the contractors worked with the builder to get a huge like drill bit to drill all the way down and they installed a lead pipe or steel pipe or something to make it so it can swing like this. So they'll come back closed. Yeah. And so the amount of stuff that they've done to make stuff work is just incredible. Guys, can you imagine when this pantry is actually all organized and has like labels and everything is going to swing back on you? Bye. We already have a couple little things back there, but I cannot wait to just fill this They work too well. This is where Tori's been taking all of her photos. This is the Instagram selfie mirror. I love it. You guys want to see a cool little detail? Wow. Sorry for the light change. The other door is white right here. Look, it's black there. For the details. To match the window frames. We still have to get the lock here. But okay, so guys, this is the pool. I feel like it is insane how similar it looks to the rendering. Like we'll post a little rendering right here or there somewhere, but it is the actual dream. You can't tell right now, but there's like a little bubbler right here and then there's a little hole to put an umbrella. Yeah. This is super exciting. So the reason why we didn't finish recording last night is actually because they were finishing the island up and they still have a little bit more work to do on it where they're going to install these two cabinets, but we're loving the color. Oh, do you guys even know that our fridge and freezer are in? Guys! Look at this. It's our fridge and freezer. And the hardware is getting installed this week. Should we show them? Yeah. We'll show you a little sneak peek. Okay, so this is the hardware that will be on the fridge and freezer. Wow. Isn't that epic? Yeah. And again, we want to show you guys this stuff when it's done, but I'm going to go and do a big reveal right now. Not a big reveal, but for the oven range. Y'all ready for this? Wow. Look at that bad boy. This still has to go up there. It looks a little messy, but y'all can tell that it's really starting to come together. Like we are so close. Yeah. We're so close to moving in. And we're going to put some artwork right there. Look at that artwork. Amen. Our TV's up, but it's a little too high. We had them install it too high whenever we pointed. So we're going to bring that down about a foot. So, our bad. Watch your shoulder. Wow. Look at that. Y'all see this bad boy? It's not technically installed yet, or I would get inside of it. By the way, sorry for the audio. It's super echoey, but it's life. I mean, we're in the shower. So this will also be gold. Have we shown them the mirror? No, we haven't shown them the mirror, or the sink, or the lights. Are you guys ready for this? Three, two, one. Wow. Look at that. You guys want to see another cool thing that got installed? The throne. That was kind of a crappy update. Oh, there it is. Well, hello. Wait, so who gets what side? I assume I get that side. Since our whole marriage, I've always been on this side of the bathroom. So this is my side, eh? I mean, it doesn't matter. What side do you want? I'm fine with that side. Not a big deal. Because if you're blow-drying your hair, do you use your right hand? So would you rather have more space over here, or be over by the wall? Problem-solving skills, ladies and gents. Aw, that was a sweet, oh, sweet one. Thank you, babe. I really don't think it's real that this is the bathroom that we're actually going to get ready in every day. Yeah. It feels like, I mean, look at these lights. Are you joking me? Can you see? I can see. These lights, just, wow. Yeah. And this, we got off Etsy. And then those same bars that we were showing you earlier will go on all of these. So it'll bring in some warmth of that, like, brass. And then we're not fully sure what's going to go here yet. But I just, I got those at Target, and I feel like that space needs to be filled. Yeah. In a way, so I might get, like, a cute little, like, wooden something to put underneath those, but. I wonder. I cannot get over this bathroom. Are you joking me? I would love to know y'all's opinion of this color. And this has to be clean. But the color sink with the color tile, it was very strategic. And very difficult to make happen. It was. They had to, like, mix different colors to make these two things coordinate. But we're absolutely in love. Babe, come here, look.
