TRAILER: BADJELÁNNDA - Crossing the most remote wilderness of Europe

Here is a preview of the upcoming movie "Badjelánnda - The high country". It will document the experience of hiking across the largest and most remote wilderness of Europe, which is located between Sweden and Norway in Lapland.
This September I hiked alone from Kvikkjokk, Sweden through the Padjelanta National Park and finishing in the Rago National Park in Norway. The hike covered a distance of 170 km, of which 50 km were entirely without trails or way markers, which meant that I had to find my own way across the wild terrain. For 12 days I hiked by myself, carrying all the food and equipment and without seeing any other people on most days.

The full movie will hopefully convey at least a little bit the feeling of being alone in the middle of the nordic wilderness, and as far away from civilisation as it is possible in continental Europe.
