Most expensive VS cheapest boulder in the climbing gym
Does the price and quality of climbing holds really matters when it comes to great route-setting?
We teamed up with route-setter George Lonsdale at @theclimbinghangaruk to find out.
George (head setter at TCH Matchworks and Liverpool Sandhills) was given a $50 dollar budget to set a bouldering problem and a $5000 dollar budget to set a bouldering problem. Both had to be bangers, but commercially viable and both problems are still up in the climbing gym for you to try. Will the $50 or the $5000 boulder problem win?
