May Ride 2020 Motorcycle Rally with Clint August

All right. Rain gear. Wife's rain gear. What is up, everybody? It is the full throttle hog and we are getting ready for Sturgis. We are leaving in six days from right now, right when you're watching this video. So pumped, still gotta get the bike washed, still got a lot to do. However, it got me thinking about all the different rallies that has happened in 2020 and with COVID and how things have changed. It made me think about Mayride 2020. For those of you that don't know, Mayride is put together by Mr. Clint August himself from 101.5 KGB FM in San Diego. He's also a motorcycle monkey. If you guys are not checking out his channel, you need to. I'll put the link up here. So Clint August actually partners up with many people to get this done and he is working around the clock. He's probably even starting now to work on 2021, but he's working with Biggs Harley Davidson to get this done, the Law Tigers to get this done and many other sponsors. So 2021, I cannot wait to shoot the event in its entirety. But every year they put together a rally to help support the armed services of YMCA. This is supporting our troops all around. So we highly support that. I partnered up with Clint this year. I was really looking forward to documenting the entire event. Typically on a normal year, Mayride should look like something like this. But because we're dealing with COVID right now, we had to change it up a little bit this year. And so all we could do is kind of do like a solo Mayride event. I was able to go out and do some filming and I want to show that to you right now. So here is Mayride 2020. I hope you guys enjoy this video and the footage of the route. God, this route is awesome. This store is gonna be open the whole month of May. So when you come and you stop here and with social distancing, of course, give them some of your business. They agreed to be one of the ride stops that was supposed to happen May 16th. Instead, it's the entire month, like we said. But look at this. They're very friendly to bikers. They're friendly to everybody. They're even friendly to old people, like these two who are in their rocking chairs here at Bates Nut Farm. Look, Chuck's got his plastic bag. That's my bag and my pH water now. His Metamucil. What you got there, Deb? Lemonade. And notice they are social distancing, even though they wake up together. Yeah. ♪ When I say it, I say it too ♪ ♪ The streets are hurting you but you can't ♪ Ride stop two, Mayride 2020. We made it back 70 miles. Good route, guys. Great route. This is where the stunts would be happening, where I'm riding through right now. And they will again next year. Bunch of vendors lined up down the street, parking lot, all this. But that's all right. Also recommended to me by Mr. Clint August, who by his own accord, and hopefully I can vouch for this, is the best motorcycle ride he's ever been on in his life. So we're gonna have filming of that. We're gonna have drone footage. We're gonna have things going on in Sturgis. All the great stuff that you see, but in that cinematic fashion that we like to do here on this channel.
