My FIRST Hawaiian Luau!

[Music] I got up this morning to film outside my balcony and literally all my neighbors were out as well so it's these uh close proximities you really get to know people today is Beach day my first time going to a beach in Hawaii can't wait and here's a little [Laughter] [Music] preview it is so windy right now like so so windy I'm thinking I'm thinking that's freezing [Music] cold all right so the beach was a just a tad wind but right now I I'm going somewhere i' I've been wanting to go for my whole life and mainly because of a massive Pig they're going to cook underground I'm going to my first Lu out [Music] [Music] the lout is at the Sea Life Park and this this whole area this whole area is awesome these mountains purple wristband make a wish please right down this way that's me purple wristband that's how I will be identified as for the remainder of the evening oh just found the Ninja Turtles before they learn how to fight HOH welcome oh thank [Applause] you Aloha oh I'll take the uh the the shell thing thank [Music] you a party party has officially begun I'm going to go get a hband these guys are weaving H and I need one these are coconut leaves these are coconut leaves they made those trees right over there oh nice are they edible the leaves yeah okay all right just just checking just dou checking awesome L gent don't forget to check out the chief [Music] [Music] I think I need to try this my weapon of choice right now but one up down CLE right there are we hunting that pig Hold on hold on girl on the play I I missed this is where mine ended up it didn't even stick to the ground go ahead bring it back and lay it across the field okay on three one two [Music] go oh wow that was horrendous um it did stick to the ground this time time but very far away from it's intended target breaking news I have found the pig for if you like here want I want to take off that blanket of leaves and just dig in I cannot wait to see his delicious space welcome everybody in my Village everybody cook and feast together when food is ready We Gather everybody from far by using the sound of this big shell right here we call it the PO 44 and it's supposed to sound like this so we just level the Rocks place a piging the Boomer rocks on top and we cut on the leaves behind me these are banana trees these are small trees when they grow the leaves get bigger and they're perfect to cover the ground I mean umu takes only 1 and 1 half hour and it's R to eat umu is actually roasting but IMU is steaming you go under come on everybody I want a big head for a hard workking sh of cheese everybody give him a round of applause I can smell the leaves already oh smells so nice get your cameras ready this is coming up from wow wow look at that few minutes L for everybody to take photographs oh that's awesome the count of three 1 2 3 and there you have it this is a well done roasted and don't worry this is not the only Pig we're eating we got more that's nice I paid extra so I can eat first this looks awesome there we go wow going to get it I don't know this this is hard yeah I know oh my forget the cake salad yeah kind nice some sweet potatoes and chne it's like a Chinese buffet load up on little chne here and this looks like uh chicken barbecue chicken that looks like the kala Pig and whatever that is I think this is fish this is fish [Music] nice defin load up on the Cure pig looks awesome I've been really s when it comes oh my what kiding hey buddy wait you got to you got to let me pet you wait come here that's the price for a little you want some more at least the cat really liked the pork a Hungry Cat really dry I mean I don't I don't know if Lu is really known for his food but pretty [Music] dry our journey continue with visiting the hey isn't that interesting [Music] just got back from the Lu out I don't know if you guys can hear the wind but the wind was blowing so hard I thought a typhoon was coming to Hawaii uh the Lu out itself was quite enjoyable whenever I get to learn about other cultures I absolutely absolutely love it uh I think the best part of the L was the was the final h fire dance that was that was insane the way they did that I mean I I saw people put the fire on their feet directly on their feet I mean it's just mindboggling how good they were overall I felt the Lu was an enjoyable experience I I did feel like it was kind of tourist trappy if I had to do it over again I would buy the cheaper tickets because I think the biggest difference was just really how close you were to the stage one thing I definitely did not enjoy was the food and and I feel like to me that matters a lot because going into a luow in my head I kind of played it up I was thinking like go to AA they're going to cook a nice succulent Pig and it's going to be awesome food and it really wasn't the food was very mediocre were were actually pretty subar but luckily I I had my buddy the cat to help me out with that also what I really enjoyed was um when they shut off the lights and you look them into the sky and there was just like you could see all the stars you can see the Milky Way and that was absolutely mesmerizing that was beautiful I actually went up on stage uh and tried the hoola Dance and yeah I I I cannot dance to save my life especially not the hoola when hip wiggling is mandatory and my hip doesn't wiggle okay it's stationary it does not move but I do feel like the Lu out is a quint essential Hawaii experience so I'm glad I did it would I ever do it again probably not not because I didn't enjoy it but I really do feel like it's it's a Once in a-lifetime thing at least for me all right that's it I'm going to bed and tomorrow I'm going to the NorthShore thanks for watching you guys bye
