On March 22, 2015, 29-year-old Denise Huskins and her 30-year-old boyfriend, Aaron Quinn, were staying the night at Aaron's home in Vallejo, California, approximately thirty miles north of San Francisco. The couple were both physical therapists at a local hospital. However, in the early morning of March 23, something terrifying unfolded for the couple. At around 1:53 PM on March 23, Aaron contacted the Vallejo Police Department to report that Denise had been abducted. The police were immediately dispatched to the scene and began an extensive search for Denise. Officers with the Vallejo Police Department utilized search and rescue dogs and dive teams as they scoured the entire city for the missing woman. As the search for Denise continued, Aaron, Denise's boyfriend, was interviewed by detectives and FBI agents in an undisclosed location.
