Biography on Gabrielle D'Estrées - Mistress Of Henri IV: Gabrielle D'Estrées was born at the Château de la Bourdaisière, in Montlouis-sur-Loire, between 1570 and 1573 and died in Paris on the night from April 9 to 10, 1599. She was the mistress and favorite of King Henry IV of France from 1591 until her death, and was the mother of three of his children, who would give rise to the House of Bourbon-Vendôme.
