Motorcycle Meet Up San Diego (Motovlog #005 - The Motorcycle Monkey Experience)

What is going on everybody it is the Full Throttle Hog coming back to you with another video and today we're heading to a new little motorcycle spot located in Santee, California. On this channel we cover everything motorcycle related. We go over bike review, product review, and we dab into a little cinematic sequences that I like to call cinevlogs versus motovlogs. So if you've watched this channel at all you know that Clint August and I from Motorcycle Monkey do a lot of collaboration videos. Well Clint has actually got a very unique idea and he has opened up a shop. It's kind of like a coffee shop slash motorcycle meetup shop. Right now it's open on Saturdays from 8 a.m to 11 a.m where motorcycle enthusiasts can show up grab a cup of coffee maybe right before a ride and then you can actually come back and there's a little brewery there that's next to his shop and so you can kind of plan your events around the Motorcycle Monkey coffee shop. So we're going to take you over there today and hopefully get a chance to talk to Clint a little bit about the shop and its growth. I know a couple things he wants to do is possibly get some bike nights going maybe once a month and again trying to bring that motorcycle community closer together and just give us a place to to go hang out. So it's Saturday morning we're heading over there right now. We've made it here to the Motorcycle Monkey shop located in Santee, California. It's Halloween so therefore they even have a little something extra for people that dress up some prizes and things like that including for the kids so let's check this out. All right so we have our masks on I've met up with Clint August the I would now say owner operator of Motorcycle Monkey. He's going to take us into the shop and see what what's going on inside. Clint real quick tell me well I know we got our masks on because it's COVID. Yeah. But tell me what what what made you think of this? Honestly man you know it's it's people like you who've become friends from riding. I wanted to have a hub to welcome motorcyclists and everybody else too but not just say sure motorcycles are welcome no it's like say hey this is a place for motorcyclists to meet up before you start your day. What's cool is now it's it's people who drive families guys who walk gals who just come in for a coffee each week but it was really about the community it really is. I believe coffee creates community. I like that I like that well all right come on in and the tour's done. All right so it's a little bit that was it yeah it's a little bit messy um and I say that because this morning we had a circuit break and we have some coffee issues this machine is a little bit messed up but we've got coffee on uh it's my boy Gavin he's 14 years old and he's just awesome at this so is my older boy Dylan who's 16 years old. Nice getting the business started young I like it yeah so yeah you know bagged coffee and fresh coffee cold brew in bottles and cold brew in pitchers all fresh soft drinks to start your ride I mean we've got it all we got some snacks and uh you know when you're uh oh apparel you know some mugs we've got mugs all right so now we've got the podcast room the only thing I'm waiting on are uh cameras I'm gonna mount some cameras on the wall because I want to put it on my youtube channel but this is the premise of it so we have a little bit of inventory up here uh that won't fit out there but I want to have people like Ryan here on and and writers and tell stories it's not going to be 100 about motorcycles it's going to be motorcycle century but I'm going to be honest I wouldn't listen to an entire you know half hour hour-long podcast of just motorcycle talk I want this to be about life and even some culture and just stories from the road along with the motorcycles and what you ride but that's what this is and uh the future I'm hoping is that we can expand and just allow more people uh more tables more chairs um and just make this a ride hub for folks when they come here and we don't care even if you ride if you're watching this now and you're just a fan of Ryan's channel um and you don't ride that's great you know what we've got my first regular is a guy named Michael who he does a morning walk and every Saturday he comes by just about picks up a water picks up a coffee hangs out and it's awesome so we don't care how you get here all right so check it out at MotorcycleMonkey.com online also Motorcycle Monkey on Facebook and we've got the address there it's 10366 Mission Gorge Road in Santee and uh yeah we're right next to a brewery so yay for us when we have events Three Frogs Brewing I get all my shirts printed next door at Lasting Impressions and so it's a really good dynamic here starting today Halloween Chef Bob with Pirates Catering is now going to be serving breakfast every weekend here and we're starting a bike night I believe it's going to be the second or third Thursday of each month we'll figure that out in the next week and uh you know we're going to have dinner served and and yeah we just really want this to be a place to hang out uh that just welcomes everyone and we do not care what you ride or if Halloween even when we left there's people hanging out you know just uh enjoying each other's company drinking some coffee some good coffee by the way and we got a chance to uh see the Motorcycle Monkey shop so such a cool concept to have a place on Saturday mornings to just hang out with your friends drink some coffee never a bad thing so don't forget if you are in the San Diego area on Saturdays here in Santee California you can check out the Motorcycle Monkey shop don't forget to follow Motorcycle Monkey on YouTube which I will put a link up in the description you know it's Halloween we're coming up on election week I don't know things are going to get crazy it's absolutely crazy right now but that's going to do it for today's video as we uh fight traffic to get back home uh let me know what you thought leave a comment down below don't forget to like share and subscribe and we will catch you next Monday
