Jumping Ring Trick tutorial - Julien Magic

Hello everybody, this is Julian Magic. I hope you're doing fine. Today I'm going to teach you one of my favorite tricks, this is the jumping finger ring. So if you ever wanted to go up to the girls in school and impress them, here's a very good trick for you. You take it off, and then you throw it up like 1, 2, 3. It jumps right back. Okay, so you want to know the secret? Well, stay tuned. If you don't want to know the secret, you can just skip the rest of this video. Something that's very important when you're learning magic tricks, you should keep the secret for yourself, and don't show the people how it works, because you're going to ruin the whole idea of an illusion. Another thing is to really get this trick done well, I would train in front of a mirror. I think that's the best way to learn magic tricks, because then you can always see exactly what kind of angle the people are looking at. Bend the mirror a little bit, so you get kind of where the audience or the people are going to watch from. You actually need one ring that's big enough to put it on your index finger. And what I do here is actually that I'm switching. I'm putting my hand on top of it, and I'm switching finger. I'm switching from my index to my middle finger. You see here? There. And you switch it, and I pretend to pull off the ring. I cover it, and I put it off. So the ring is actually on my index all the time. Okay? From here to there. It's right there.
