All right, 611 is the time right now.
We're calling it pandemonium.
Let's do it because it's been an
exciting past 24 hours here in the
district with the return of the
giant pandas to the National Zoo.
I could barely contain myself.
Nice, nicely done.
The zoo is back open today.
Unfortunately for visitors,
you won't be able to see the pandas just yet,
but here is a little sneak peek
and it's a good one to the latest
video of our cute cuddly duo.
We're talking about Bali and Ching Bao.
Those are their names this morning.
They're at their panda house
at the National Zoo.
Check him out this video.
They've been feasting on their
favorite food, of course,
bamboo to see them in person.
You will have to wait awhile.
They'll be in quarantine for a few weeks,
and then the panda habitat will
be closed to the public.
So it's going to be a couple of months.
That's all right.
You could just mark your calendar.
The anticipation will continue to
grow because the pandas will make their
debut to the general public January 24th.
That's also when the zoo will
switch on the panda cams.
Remember we talked about that yesterday.
When they left, they turned him off and
then they'll turn him back on when
they're ready to make their debut.
Oh yeah, I am very excited.
Yes, you are very clever.
The zoo will hold a public celebration.
This is starting January 29th
through February 9th.
This is a huge it is a lot of
people love the love the pandas.
