Hey guys, in this video, I'm going to show you
some work from home data entry jobs you can get right now.
If you want something pretty laid back
where mostly all you're doing is just typing,
and also most of these do not require you
to have any experience to apply.
Now, one thing you might wanna keep in mind
before you apply for a data entry job
is you need to know your word per minute typing speed.
So I would recommend going to a site like typingtest.com.
This is a site where you can test
your word per minute typing speed,
but also take typing lessons for free
to improve it.
So the first company we're looking at
is called CareMedx.
And this is a place where,
if you scroll down their jobs listings here,
they have something like data entry specialist.
You're expected to start in November.
So you might wanna apply for this as soon as possible
if you're interested.
But basically, they tell you that the company
is dedicated to supporting the patient journey
by providing hub services, innovative technology,
and decision-making data to pharmaceutical,
biotechnology, and medical device innovators.
So for this job, the summary says,
under the general supervision of the supervisor and manager,
you will provide exemplary service to multiple clients,
including product manufacturers,
physicians, patients, and internal customers.
So you will maintain effective systems
to support the timely release of accurate information
to diverse clients.
You will be responsible for the intake
of all program-specific correspondence,
including mail, inbound faxed documents,
log information into the appropriate database,
and triage all program-specific mail
to the appropriate reimbursement,
case advocate, reimbursement specialist,
or management team responsible for payer research
and territory assignment management.
You'll assist with inbound call volume as received.
So distribute report daily disseminating information
to appropriate distribution vendors,
maintain and promote a positive
and professional working relationship,
comply with all appropriate program policies and procedures,
and things like that.
So you are inputting a lot of information into a database
and basically managing that database, right?
Like they tell you right here,
you're walking the information
into an appropriate database.
You may have to receive a call from time to time.
This is one of, I think, the only ones on this list
where you may even have to receive a call at all
from people who aren't just basic coworkers.
But with this job,
this is also pretty much the only one on this list,
I would say, where you actually have to have experience.
But they only say one place
here is a professional work experience
and customer service or healthcare environment.
This can be a lot of different things.
It doesn't have to be data entry related,
even though it's called a data entry specialist.
So customer service can be a lot of different things.
I think it's very encouraging
that they accept customer service-related experience.
So if you basically had almost any kind of job,
even if it was like your first job out of high school
where you've been like a waiter or a waitress
or you've worked in retail, you've been a cashier,
you've done something where you're customer-facing,
a lot of companies will accept that
for customer service experience.
A minimum skills, knowledge, and ability requirements,
ability to communicate effectively,
strong computer application skills, interpersonal skills,
organizational and time management skills,
attention to detail, and adaptable
and flexible to new situations.
Physical demands, obviously very minimal.
Work environment, obviously you're working remotely.
You must be flexible in schedule and hours.
Overtime may be required from time to time.
So as far as what it's like to work here,
CareMedx has a 3.1 out of five star rating.
51% recommend working here to a friend.
If you are able to get benefits,
they have a 3.8 out of five star rating.
That's a pretty solid score, I would say.
Interview-wise, they have 30 people who have left feedback.
They have a 2.7 out of five difficulty rating,
which is slightly below average, I would say.
53% positive, 33% negative is a pretty good distribution
of positive to negative interview experiences.
They also do actually have data entry specialists on here
and four different people who have had this job
actually left a review.
It can pay anywhere from $36,000 to $47,000 a year.
So you're talking something like,
you're talking maybe like $20 an hour, maybe on average.
But if you get closer to the high end,
it could be something like maybe $23 an hour.
Next, we have a major brand you probably heard of
called Marriott.
They're a major hotel chain and vacation company
where they have all sorts of different resorts
around the world.
And they actually have a data entry clerk job available here
from 3 to 7 p.m. Central Time.
So this is actually a part-time data entry job here.
And this is a remote-only job
that you do not have to relocate for.
And you'll notice here that they mention
many different states where they give a per hour estimate
of how much you might be able to earn,
which tells me that they are hiring
throughout the United States
and not just in one particular area.
For any job you find at Marriott on here,
usually they will put a specific location,
but a lot of times this is just a headquarters
in that region or something like that.
So you'll find that if they include multiple states
in the pay section, that usually means
it's pretty much anywhere remotely in the United States.
So with this particular job,
you will enter and locate work-related information
using computers and point-of-sale systems.
So you'll transmit information or documents
using a computer, read and visually verify information
in a variety of formats, enter and retrieve information
contained in computer databases.
You'll verify information in documents
and computer screens, operate standard office equipment,
et cetera.
So with this job, you can earn up to about $24 per hour.
They all tell you about the same,
which is $18.50 to $24 per hour.
They do say that all locations include benefits here.
So you're talking 401k plans, stock purchase,
discounts on Marriott properties,
which is nice if you like to travel, things like that.
And then they also mentioned that it'll be open
for two weeks after the posting of this job,
which is coming up very soon.
You need to apply right away
if this is a job you're interested in.
As far as actual experience,
they don't actually mention anything
about having to have experience on here.
They just kind of tell you what you're going to be doing.
So it tells me you probably can apply without experience.
I mean, it seems like a very easy job.
They don't really mention much
about what you would actually need
in terms of qualifications here.
As far as what it's like to work here,
they have a four out of five star rating.
Another thing to keep in mind,
their headquarters is in Bethesda, Maryland.
So that's probably why they put Bethesda, Maryland
as the location of the job.
Many companies do that.
They're also been nominated as one of the best places
to work many different times on Glassdoor.
And 77% of people recommend working here to a friend,
which is great.
Benefit wise, also great, 4.1 out of five stars.
Interview wise, they have a 2.6 out of five
difficulty score, which is pretty easy.
And the vast majority of people
had a positive experience working here.
They have very good reviews all across the board here.
Next, we have a company called Crew Bloom.
Crew Bloom is like a staffing services company.
They have a data entry related job.
It's called something else, called a medical scribe,
but if you've seen me cover
medical scribe positions before,
this is a great job to look for
if you're someone who wants to just do something
where all you're doing is literally
just researching and typing and that's about it.
You're basically doing just nothing
but health related data entry for like healthcare teams.
So they want someone who's detail oriented
and dedicated to just this job.
The ideal candidate will accurately document
patient encounters in real time,
assisting healthcare providers
by managing electronic health records,
ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
So you will document patient encounters,
which will include things like medical history,
physical examinations, diagnosis, procedures, et cetera.
You'll manage electronic health records.
You'll update them.
You'll maintain patient records.
Real time data entry, you'll enter patient information
into the EHR system.
You'll coordinate with the medical team as needed,
assist with chart reviews as well.
You'll maintain confidentiality of course
and be in compliance with HIPAA regulations
and administrative support may also be in there as well.
Requirements, previous experience as a medical scribe
or a healthcare setting is preferred, but it's not required.
So it's usually means that's not a deal breaker.
They do say also familiarity with medical terminology
is a plus, but again, that means it's not required.
Typing and transcription skills,
strong attention to detail and accuracy,
proficiency with the EHR systems
and general computer literacy,
effective communication skills,
ability to work independently.
They do say certifications and HIPAA certifications
for again, certified medical scribe specialist or HIPAA.
Both of those certifications are not required
but would be great.
System requirements, they do require 15 Mbps
main internet download speed, at least 10 Mbps for a backup.
And they do say like a headset,
quiet home office, things like that.
Benefit wise, they don't really mention
a lot of really detailed things here.
They don't mention a lot about insurance
or like 401ks or anything like that.
It's more about work-life balance,
flexibility and those types of things.
So as far as what it's like to work here,
4.7 out of five stars, 94% recommend working here
to a friend.
If you were to get benefits here,
they have a three out of five star rating,
but only two people have reviewed that so far.
2.8 out of five difficulty is not bad
for the difficulty interviewing here
and the vast majority of people had a positive experience
which is also a great sign.
So as far as how much you could earn here,
I did not see a medical scribe
under their main Glassdoor page under salaries.
That means nobody who has done that job there
has left a review there yet.
So I just looked up the average
and the average is between 35 and 53,000 a year
if you were to work full time hours.
So you're talking up to possibly a high end
being like 25 to $26 an hour.
Next, we have a company called Bold Business.
Bold Business is an outsourcing solutions company,
kind of like Crew Bloom in a way.
They have a lot of these data entry agent jobs
available right now.
If you go to view all jobs here,
you'll notice that they have quite a few of these
currently available, these data entry agent positions.
They have some other data entry jobs.
Some of them may require a little bit more of you
because they call them a data entry lead.
Any job that I've seen usually in the past
that says lead or senior or something like that
usually requires a little bit more
in terms of qualifications.
But with this job,
basically you're joining the data enrichment team
to support the data enrichment tasks for clients.
So you will be responsible for reviewing
and completing enrichment tasks
as defined and trained by the client.
Primary work will be application data entry,
vendor resource verifications, board certifications,
and following up with various state boards for statuses.
You'll be responsible for timely
and quality execution of tasks.
It's full time, 100% remote,
and they say you'll have clear goals
and the training resources you need to deliver.
So qualifications here,
they just mentioned communication skills,
able to work 40 hours a week and start immediately,
experience in outbound or inbound call center
inside sales experience or related sales
or customer service experience is A plus.
So that means you should be able to apply
if you don't have those specific things,
but you've maybe done other types of jobs
that could translate.
Adaptable and flexible ability to work independently.
You have your own work from home setup,
stable internet connection,
and a computer savvy candidate is preferred.
So they don't have a whole lot of requirements here.
3.5 out of five stars as far as their rating overall,
which is pretty good.
Almost three quarters of their workers here have said
they would recommend working here to a friend.
As far as benefits go, if you did get benefits,
they don't really have a lot of reviews yet
to draw any conclusions.
Interview wise, they have a 2.5 out of five difficulty score,
which means it's very easy.
And then 75% of people had a positive experience
applying here, which is also a very good sign.
As far as data entry goes,
we have administrative here as a category.
You'll notice a few data entry jobs
with salaries submitted for review.
And so you'll look at these and see that
the pay range on here is,
if you look at the top three,
voice and data specialist,
I would say is a totally different job.
With these, you're looking at pretty close
to what some of these other ones pay.
Probably if you, I mean, if you look at the hourly range
as something like 16 to $23 per hour
would be the full range between these reviews.
Last but not least, we have another medical scribe company
called Phoenix MedCom, where you can actually get paid
to be a medical scribe and work from home
as what you would also call a virtual scribe.
Now with this one,
they tell you that this is something you can do.
Usually this is something you would do like part-time,
but it's a medical scribe position.
I already kind of described to you
what a medical scribe does,
so I'm not gonna go too in-depth
about your job description here.
But mainly what you're doing here,
you will be improving the process
of documenting patient encounters
while utilizing medical transcription skills.
They say medical transcription or scribe two years.
So this, they do require a little bit
of experience that's related.
So again, most of the jobs on this list
don't require experience.
This one kind of does,
but I thought it was kind of similar
to some of the other ones,
so I'd throw this in there kind of as a bonus.
Two years of medical terminology at a high level
is necessary and excellent computer skills and grammar.
Technical requirements here,
independent internet access
with router close to workstation,
good speed test to determine internet speed.
They don't necessarily tell you exactly
what their minimum speed is.
Computer knowledge and updated computer
with ability to handle multiple windows
and web-based programs.
So again, you are basically doing documentation
of patient encounters with physicians.
So as far as what it's like to work at Phoenix MedCom,
they have a 3.1 out of five star rating,
45% recommend working here to a friend.
And I would believe this is usually
like a lower paying job.
In many cases, medical scribes don't average a whole lot,
but occasionally maybe they will.
But this one says about $15 to $21 per hour
for their reviews.
I wouldn't expect a lot for benefits
or anything like that here.
Doesn't look like people got a whole lot
in terms of benefits here.
So as far as Phoenix MedCom goes,
this is one that's,
they're always just kind of looking for medical scribes,
which is pretty similar
to a lot of these other data entry jobs.
