Who needs Sephora when the DRUGSTORE has this INCREDIBLE makeup?

Okay, today we are talking about my favorite topic, drugstore makeup. If you guys are new to my channel, you might not know this, but I film videos all about beauty in general, but I focus a lot on drugstore makeup because I truly believe you can find high quality, even luxury quality products at the drugstore for more of an affordable price. And I'm not just saying that, like if you go back on my channel, you've seen that I've loved drugstore makeup products for years and years. And even though I love shopping at Sephora, like there are high-end makeup products I enjoy, makeup as a whole is getting so expensive, even at the drugstore. So when I film videos kind of narrowing it down to like products under $10, I find that it's a little bit more difficult. I just did a video on underrated drugstore products under 10, which a lot of you seem to like. So I'll link that below if you missed it. Today's video is kind of like a spinoff on that one. I wanted to feature, instead of talking about underrated products, viral products that are truly worth it. Different makeup products go viral every single week. And sometimes it's hard to know, like is it actually worth the hype or is everyone just jumping on the bandwagon and featuring it? A lot of viral products come with an increased price tag because it might be a dupe or the brand might know it's going to be something that's really popular. So is it actually worth that price increase? These are the products that I chose that I truly think are worth it. They've gotten a ton of hype, but they've gotten hype for a good reason. You've probably heard me talk about a lot of these products, if not all of them, if you've seen some of my previous videos, but I definitely think they're worth repeating. These are the products that I use, which is why, you know, if you watch my videos, you see me mention the same products over and over because I don't just buy a product and set it aside. These are the things that I'm consistently using that continuously top other products I'm testing. And I test a lot of makeup. So if you see it in multiple videos, it's for a good reason. It means it truly is something that I love and I continue to use. So some of these might be repeats, but I do think they're worth the hype. So let's get started. So as we all know, e.l.f. is one of the drugstore brands that tends to go viral the most often. And I think that's because they've kind of become known as the dupe brand over the last few years. They do launch products that aren't necessarily meant to be dupes of other products, but a lot of their viral, super hyped up products are very clearly dupes or alternatives for much more expensive or even luxury price products. And with that sometimes comes a little bit of a higher price tag, especially for e.l.f. I still see comments on my videos or on social media about people reminiscing about the days when e.l.f. was $1 or $3. They had like their two separate lines. Trust me, I remember those days very, very clearly. When I first started my YouTube channel, e.l.f. was like a big part of my channel. They still are, but I purchased a ton of products from those lines. Obviously the prices have gone up over the years, but I do think the quality has gone up as well. But I will say when they do launch something that they know is going to be a hit, that's going to go viral, that's meant to dupe something that's very popular, usually it is a little bit more expensive. And the Halo Glow Liquid Filter is probably one of their most expensive products of $14. $14 is a lot for a drugstore product, but I truly think the quality is there with this product. I have tried the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter, and honestly, I didn't love that product at the time. I almost think if I tried it today, I might like it a little bit better, but I just don't think there's a need for it now that this product exists. This, in my opinion, is like the best glowy base product because at this point, every single brand has launched their version of that Charlotte Tilbury product, and this remains my favorite. I know a lot of people actually like to use this in place of foundation or tinted moisturizer. That doesn't typically work for me because my skin is a little bit oily, and I feel like I just need a little bit more coverage. I tend to use this more so as a mix-in, and I love it in that way because it adds the perfect touch of glow, and it's such a creamy, gorgeous formula that whatever product I typically mix it with ends up looking better on my skin than it does without this. This does look really beautiful as a base. You can also use it as a liquid highlighter. I feel like they have a really good shade range, especially compared to other brands that have done something like this. I do think it's worth that $14 price point. Very hyped up, but the quality is absolutely there. Another e.l.f. product absolutely worth the hype is the Jelly Pop Dew Primer. I know I've talked about this a lot over the last few months. This is supposedly a limited edition product, but this is like the third or fourth summer where e.l.f. has brought this back, and they're obviously only going to bring back a limited edition product if it keeps selling, so obviously they are getting their money's worth out of this product. It's hitting the sales quotas. If you can't get it again, if for whatever reason they decide to not bring it back, the power grip is very, very similar, but there's something about this one. It's a little bit thinner. It is so sticky, so it grips your makeup all day long, but it leaves your skin looking incredibly glowy, so smooth, so radiant. So even if you have oily skin and you don't tend to love glowy products, I think you'll end up liking this because even though it is glowy, it actually locks your makeup into place well. I've tried this with so many foundations, and honestly, it has worn perfectly with every single one, including tinted moisturizers, which tend to wear off very quickly on my skin, and powder foundations, which don't always work well with sticky primers. So last time I checked, which was just like a few days ago, it's still available on Ulta's website. I highly recommend trying it out if you like a sticky, tacky primer. I have two different concealers that I wanted to talk about in today's video. The formulas are very, very different. Let's start with this one because this has been around for a long time, and it still remains a very popular, very viral product. Every once in a while, I kind of see it go viral again, and it's because people are rediscovering the formula, and it is absolutely worth it if you like a good, creamy, very comfortable concealer. It's the NYX Bear With Me Concealer Serum. This is perfect as a concealer because it is very creamy, very comfortable, really, really moisturizing, but it's a little bit, I don't wanna say thicker. It almost is a little bit thicker than you would expect because they market it as a serum, and in my opinion, it's not really thin enough to be a serum. It's definitely a little bit creamier than that. It has really, really good coverage, but you can blend it out, and it doesn't feel heavy, and it doesn't look cakey on the skin. It's such a good option if you just want that smooth, moisturized look, but you still like coverage. The other concealer that I wanted to share with you I think is a little bit more ideal if you have oily skin or you just like a true matte concealer. I almost forgot about this one, but then I remembered this went super viral when it launched. I think the beginning of last year or the year before that, I get all of my years mixed up, but I remember people loving this, which was kind of surprising because when they launched the foundation a few months before this, the foundation went viral, but it got very mixed reviews, whereas this product in general was very well-received. The formulas are quite a bit different, so if you loved or hated that foundation, I would just kind of put that out of your mind as you're considering this concealer. It's very, very thin, but it has a really nice matte, long-wearing finish. It's creamy and comfortable. It has really good coverage. What I like about this product is I have wrinkles under my eyes, as a lot of us do, and so many concealers claim to be crease-proof, and there just really isn't such a thing as a true crease-proof formula. If you have wrinkles, if you have fine lines, most products are going to settle into those, but some products definitely settle worse than others, and I find that a lot of very thin concealers instantly settle into my fine lines, whereas this one doesn't settle as quickly, and once you set it, it won't settle throughout the day, in my experience. For a matte concealer, I don't find that it looks dry or cakey. It doesn't enhance texture. It really just wears beautifully throughout the day, and because it is so light, so thin, I almost think it gives a little bit of a blurred appearance, which is nice if you do have wrinkles under the eyes and you just like that look, so definitely a fan of this. I find it a little bit more long-wearing than NYX, but I think NYX is definitely more moisturizing, so kind of depends on what you're looking for. In general, this might be more ideal if you have oily skin, and this might be more ideal if you have normal to dry, but I feel like I can kind of make them both work no matter what. There were like three different powders that I felt like I could have mentioned in today's video, but I decided to go with this one, which again is kind of like a longstanding viral product. Like it didn't just have a quick moment of virality. It's been around for a long time, and it still continues to get a lot of hype, and for good reason. I mean, it's not that old. I would say it's maybe a few years old. It's the NYX Can't Stop, Won't Stop Mattifying Powder. The reason why I like this is because not only is it mattifying, it's very, very smoothing. So I actually love wearing this under the eyes. I'll take one of those triangular velour sponges and just use this to set my under eye concealer, and it makes everything look incredibly smooth, super flawless. It is a pretty matte powder, so I would say if you have very dry under eyes, you might not want to do that. You could probably go in with a little bit of a fluffier brush. That way you get more of a diffused look and get a similar effect, but I'll use this to set my entire face, especially during the summertime. We recently were in Florida visiting a family. It was so hot there, and if you live in Florida, do you even wear makeup during the summer? I am so curious to know what your long-wearing makeup must-haves are if you live in Florida or like a very similar climate, because I would either just skip makeup or I would do like very quick makeup, and then after a few hours, it would just, it wouldn't look the same. So anyway, this is one product I did use quite a bit while we were there because it was just so hot. So I do have a couple of mascaras to talk about. Let's talk about the one that I actually do not currently have. It's the e.l.f. Lash & Roll. e.l.f. has actually had a lot of mascara hits over the last few years, which has been really nice to see because at one point I had tried every mascara for them and nothing seemed to work for me, but I would say over like the past two or three years, most of their mascaras have worked well for me. The Lash & Roll is such a good everyday mascara. It's meant to lift the lashes, curl them. It just gives your eyes like a very open, wide awake effect, which is really nice. It's definitely not overly dramatic. I don't find it too clumpy or too voluminous. And I never really thought I'd see the day where I do prefer more of a natural mascara, but it is here. If I'm wearing a lot of eyeshadow or eyeliner, like I am today, I usually do go for a little bit more of a dramatic mascara, but if I'm skipping eyeliner and I'm just going very light with the eyeshadow, I feel like a very natural mascara compliments that look a lot better. So in that case, I'll reach for the Elf Lash Extender, which is I think their newest mascara. It's a tubing mascara or the Lash & Roll, which I used mine up fairly recently. So I just haven't repurchased it because I have a lot of other mascaras currently open, but that one is amazing if you do like a lifted curled effect, but you don't want something over the top. This one is maybe a little bit controversial. In fact, I know it is because when this product first came out, it did go viral, but it got very mixed reviews and I actually hated it. Then I loved it and it became an absolute essential part of my makeup routine. It's the Milani Highly Rated Lash Extensions Tubing Mascara. Now I will say, I don't necessarily love this mascara on its own, and it's a little bit more of an expensive mascara. I think it is, I wrote down the price, $13.99. That is a lot for a drugstore mascara. It might be a little bit less expensive at like Walmart or Target. I usually pull my prices from Ulta, but I will say Ulta tends to increase the prices by like one or $2 for a couple of brands. Anyway, I typically use this as a layering mascara. So I love a lot of voluminous, dramatic mascaras, but sometimes when you're getting a mascara that gives a ton of volume or a mascara that lifts and curls, it doesn't necessarily lengthen. So when that's the case, I'll actually take this mascara as the last step in my routine and just kind of like lightly hit the ends of my lashes and it just stretches them a little bit longer. Also, because it's a tubing mascara, it almost works as like a sealant. So if you have a mascara that actually flakes or smudges pretty easily and you just use this as like the last coat, it will lock that mascara into place really well. I also love this on the bottom lashes because I think it just grabs onto the lashes really well. It's not my favorite on its own because it does have a tendency to get clumpy fast. And it's such a wet formula that I feel like it doesn't really perform its best until it's dried out for like a month or two. So I typically do use it in combination with another one. It's a little bit of a tricky formula. So some people are immediately like, no, I'm not even going to buy that because I don't wanna have to put in work to use my makeup products, which I totally get. But I'm telling you, this has saved so many bad mascara days because it just completely enhances the mascara I'm using it with. The last one, I guess, can be a little bit of a controversial mascara as well. Controversial is such a dramatic word. It can be a little bit polarizing which again, just sounds very dramatic when it comes to a mascara. But you get what I'm saying. People either love this or they hate it. The Lash Princess by Essence. It is such a good mascara in my opinion. I love that it's still $4.99. After all these years, Essence has not raised the price on their mascaras. Thank you to Essence for keeping it affordable because they are one of the only brands out there where the majority of their products are still under 10 and even under five. Anyway, price point aside, I love this mascara. I think it does such a great job at adding a ton of volume, making your lashes look so thick, which for me is really nice because I just, I know I've said it a million times, but I have really bad lashes. They're not long, they're not thick, they're not curly. Like they just, they fail in every single category. So it's amazing to have something that adds a ton of drama, a lot of volume. And this mascara is quick and easy to build. You don't have to wait for it to dry between coats. It layers nicely. For me, it wears well. Some people say this really smudges on them. And I don't know, I think the issue why I just don't deal with that as much as other people is because my lashes are so short or maybe it's just like the shape of my eyes, but typically my lashes, top or bottom, don't touch my skin. So it doesn't, I don't really have the opportunity for mascara to smudge on me. I've experienced flaking from other mascaras, but not this one. So, you know, it really is truly one of my absolute favorites. It's 4.99, I think it's worth it, but I know, you know, it has some mixed reviews. Okay, I'm kind of cheating with this product. This is not technically a drugstore product, but it is more of like a drugstore priced product. And it's weird because I see some people call About Face a drugstore brand, but some people are very strict when it comes to the definition of drugstore. And if it's not sold in an actual drugstore, like CVS or Walgreens or Rite Aid, they don't consider it a drugstore brand. Personally, I kind of use the word drugstore as like an all encompassing term. I mainly stick with brands that are sold at the actual drugstores, but I might include a more affordable brand that's sold online. So anyway, I guess About Face, maybe they're more of like a mid-range price brand, but I will say this product goes on sale all the time. So you can get it for like eight or $9. So kind of a bonus product because otherwise I would have only had four products in this category and just skipped it. So I figured I might as well mention it. The Matte Fluid Eye Paints from About Face are the best matte liquid eyeshadows I've ever tried, hands down. I feel like a lot of drugstore brands or just a lot of brands in general don't do matte liquid shadows and they stick with shimmery liquid shadows or metallic liquid shadows or glitters. So in my mind, I'm like matte shadows must be a lot more difficult to formulate. They're becoming a little bit more popular. I know Hard Candy just launched one, Lottie London has a great formula, but this formula from About Face is perfect. They have a ton of different colors. I tend to prefer the neutrals, as you can see, because you can actually use these as eyeliner, which is really nice, but I love them as like one and done shadows. If I don't want to take the time to pull out an eyeshadow palette and mix and match colors, these are really, really great. And I don't normally do a fully matte look, but these make it easy. They're very flattering on the eyes because they're so creamy and so rich and pigmented that you can just swipe them across the eye, tap them in with your finger, or take like a crease brush and blend out the edges and you'll have a perfect look in two seconds. And when these dry down, they don't move. So personally, I love that you can use them as a liquid shadow or an eyeliner, because I feel like the product itself just makes it more so worth your money. Like I love a good liner. I love a good liquid shadow. Personally, I'm not typically using like glitter or metallic shadows as liner, although that would be really cool. I just feel like that doesn't come into play for my makeup style very often, whereas these are just a lot more practical. So I love them. They're practical, the quality is there. They're absolutely worth the full price point of $16, which is kind of on par with a lot of drugstore price products these days, but you can absolutely get these on sale all the time during like a 21 days of beauty sale at Ulta. So I will say one of the brow gels that went absolutely viral was the NYX Thickest Ticket. And this is my number one favorite brow gel of all time. I like this because I honestly think no matter what type of brow look you like, this probably could work for you. If you like that lifted laminated look, this will work because it actually holds your brows into place. I do like that look a little bit. Like you can see that my brows kind of have that going on. My brow hairs are kind of hard to lock into place. They don't really fall down. They're just kind of like straight. So I like this because it actually holds them up into place. But if I want more of a natural brow look, which doesn't happen all the time, I'll just take this and just put it straight across and it will lock them into place that way. Because this is very pigmented and it has fibers, it actually gives your brows a very thick, full appearance, which is super nice. The only person I would say who might not love this is someone who doesn't like a, you know, slightly stronger holding brow gel. If you want to be able to like touch your brows all day long, you probably won't like this. You'll like something that's a little bit softer and fluffier, or maybe just a brow pencil. But if you want your brows to stay in place well, but still kind of look a little bit realistic, like still give you the appearance of brow hairs that aren't hair sprayed into place, I do recommend this. I always end with lips, so let's do lips and then do cheeks. Now, fair warning, I have talked about all of these lip products a lot on my channel. So if you're like, I don't want to hear about them again, you can skip directly to cheeks. I'll put timestamps in the description box below. Let's start with the product that I've probably mentioned the least amount on my channel. It is the Essence What a Tint. This originally went viral because a lot of people were saying it was a good dupe for Benefit's Benetint. Now that type of product from Benefit has never really been my favorite. I tried it a long time ago, maybe like 10 years ago at this point, so it has been a while. But when it comes to a liquid stain on my cheeks, I feel like I can never get a well-blended look. I'll like apply the product and then blend it in, but it stays wherever I initially applied it. So instead of having like a smooth, even look, I end up having like three circles where I dotted it on. So I was curious about that product for the lips, but I personally don't use Benefit. I only use Cruelty Free Beauty products. So when Essence came out with this, I bought it right away. I love it on the lips because it is such a gorgeous product, so easy to work with. You can go in with the tiniest amount for like a very, very light, subtle stain, but you can also very easily build this up and add like two or three layers for a much more intense stain. And then you can leave it, or you can top it off with a lip oil or a lip gloss, and you kind of have your own glossy lip stain. I wish they would come out with this product in additional colors. I think Benefit has quite a few shades at this point, and Essence only has like this red tone, but I feel like a pink would be pretty, a coral would be pretty, a berry would be amazing. So maybe we'll see that at some point, but I do think this product is gorgeous. If you like Benefit's Benetint on the cheeks, you'd probably like this on the cheeks as well, but I do love it on the lips. I feel like the first lip oil to really go viral at the drugstore, at least within the last few years, was the Milani Fruit Fetish Lip Oil. At this point, they have a ton of shades. I actually just purchased one called Black Cherry Vanilla. I'll swatch that one for you so you can see what it looks like. I have it upstairs because I'm going to film a lip swatch, like TikTok, Instagram with it later today, but I still love this formula so much. I mean, I'm still buying it. I just bought the Black Cherry Vanilla one. A few months ago, I bought the Luminoso one. At this point, like every single drugstore brand has launched their version of a lip oil, and I've tried them all, but I still love the Milani one. First of all, they have the best scents. They're all, for the most part, very fruity-scented, and it's a pretty strong scent, but it's almost like a candy-like fruity scent. So it is very strong, but in my opinion, it just smells so, so good. They're all a little bit different, so I guess I shouldn't refer to them as all being the same. This one is Coco Cacao, which actually has a little bit of a chocolate scent, but I like these because they all have a hint of color. They're just slightly different depending on which one you get. Because they are lip oils, they're all very, very sheer, but some of them are kind of pinky, some are red-toned. The new one looks purpley or black in the tube, but it just adds a cool wash of color to the lips. There are a couple of other lip oil formulas I love. The NYX Fat Oil Lip Drips are one of my favorites. These, in my opinion, almost feel more like a lip gloss, but that's why I like them, because they are shiny and smooth and glossy, but they actually last on the lips really well. They also just launched some new shades not too long ago, and they are available on Ulta's website if you want to grab them. I'm just going to add a little bit of this shade, which is called Live in the Cream. They're just really gorgeous, very comfortable, and because they do have that slight stickiness, like nothing over the top, they actually last on the lips really well, which is nice too. When this formula originally came out, I wasn't the biggest fan. I felt like it was okay, but at that point, pretty much every other drugstore brand had launched a lip oil, but these have slowly climbed their way up my list, and they're actually in my top five at this point. These are the E.L.F. Glow Reviver Lip Oils. I like these because they do have a little bit of that gel-like texture, but they also feel like a lip oil. I feel like they're a mix between a lip gel and a lip oil, so they're very shiny, just very pretty on the lips, just very comfortable. I like that you can reapply them super easily. They basically give the appearance of a lip gloss, but in my opinion, they're lighter. They're just, they're more comfortable in general, so they're perfect for everyday looks, whether I'm wearing makeup or I'm not. I don't know, it's like in my mind, it doesn't necessarily feel like a standout formula. Like if I'm applying it to my lips, I'm like, oh, it feels good, but I reach for these so often. I love the way they look on the lips, and they have pretty colors. Like some of them end up looking kind of clear on the lips, but some have a hint of color, so it kind of depends on which one you choose. I mean, in the end, I do feel like they're maybe somewhat similar to Milani, but I just think these look a little bit extra glowy and shiny on the lips in such a pretty flattering way. Again, this lip product from e.l.f. went viral, and some people were not really interested in trying it because of the price. e.l.f. used to have like $3 lipsticks, and I don't think they really had any formula in their collection that was a lot more expensive than that, and then they launched the O'Face Satin Lipsticks, and these were $9, which is a pretty big price jump for e.l.f. When I tell you this actually does feel like a high-end lipstick formula, I'm not even kidding. Like this has become my go-to lipstick formula. I'm wearing the shade No Doubt. This is on my lips. I do have a little bit of a gloss from Lawless, and then, you know, just a few minutes ago, I applied a little bit of that NYX gloss. These are so incredibly creamy. They are pigmented and rich and moisturizing. They don't wear off super quickly. Like they're definitely not transfer-proof lipsticks by any means. They're true cream lipsticks, but if you wear this and you have like a lip liner underneath, they're not going anywhere unless you're like constantly eating and drinking throughout the day, but if you're just talking, if you're like out and about running errands, it's going to stay in place well. I've always been a fan of e.l.f. lipsticks, but I almost feel like some of their previous launches almost had like a little bit of a waxy texture to them. Like it was a good lipstick, and once you kind of worked through that initial layer or that initial application, it would feel fine. These are different. They're buttery and creamy and moisturizing and smooth. Like if I wear them side-by-side with a higher-end lipstick in my collection, I wouldn't even notice the difference. Like that's how good they are. Okay, last category, cheek products. So I remember when I first got into high-end makeup. This was forever ago, like 2012, 2013. I had like just started my YouTube channel. I wasn't really posting regularly, but I remember going to Sephora or maybe placing an order online and ordering my first heart blush because I could not find a drugstore blush that actually lasted well on my skin. No matter what I wore by the end of the day, it was completely gone. And for a little while, I was convinced I had to buy high-end blush to get a long-lasting formula. I do like some high-end formulas, but if you look at my blush collection, the majority of it is drugstore because there are so many good drugstore formulas. I actually need to do a blush declutter. I've been putting that off a little bit, but my blush drawer has gotten, it's grown a lot over the last few years because I've just kind of fallen back in love with blush. I like creams and liquids as much as the next person, but I feel like we were seeing such a lack of powder launches because creams and liquids were so big. And I feel like NYX reignited people's love for powder when they came out with this launch. This is kind of like a two-in-one because they did the Buttermilk Bronzers and the Buttermilk Blushes. I love both lines. They did such an amazing job with this line. It was such an exceptional launch, one of the best launches of 2024. Not only is the packaging cute, the shade range is amazing. And on top of that, the formula is gorgeous. These are $10. I feel like they could have gotten away with charging more, like $14, but I'm glad that it's, you know, slightly more affordable at 10. Buttermilk is honestly like the perfect name for this formula. It is so creamy, incredibly smooth. What I love about these is they have like the most beautiful satin glow to them. There are some that are actually marketed as glowy blushes and then some that are just part of the regular line, but all of the blushes definitely have a little bit of a glow and the bronzers too. So they're incredibly flattering on the skin. They give you the most beautiful, smooth airbrushed finish. And you can use a very light hand if you want like a softer look, but you can also build these up to look really intense on the cheeks. I love that they didn't shy away from color. And normally I'm not like a big, colorful blush fan. Like when I'm going for a blush, I'm going for something that's pretty close to what I would look like if I was blushing naturally. But like, what's the fun in that? Of course that's fun sometimes, but I feel like these encouraged me to kind of step out of my comfort zone and go for like a true pop of color on the cheeks. And they just made makeup fun. The Elf Camo Liquid Blushes. This was a really, really good dupe. The Rare Beauty Liquid Blushes are perfect in my opinion. I know for some people they're a little bit too pigmented, but beyond that, there really isn't an issue with the quality at all. They're so easy to blend out. They're very long wearing. They have gorgeous shades to choose from, and you get a ton of product for the price. But if you're someone who just doesn't like to shop high end or you don't want to try that launch for whatever reason, this launch from Elf is basically an identical dupe at a fraction of the price. I think you get a little bit less product in here, but when I did the math and broke it down, you could still get like two, two and a half of these for the same price versus one Rare Beauty. Don't quote me on that exact breakdown, but even though you're getting less product, it's still a better deal price per ounce. So I'm hoping that Elf does liquid bronzers and even liquid highlighters in this specific formula. I feel like it has to be coming maybe later in 2024, like the very beginning of 2025. But Flower Beauty has actually done bronzers or contours, blushes and highlighters in their liquid formula. I actually don't find all three of the formulas to be the same. I don't love the blush formula as much. There's just like something about it that doesn't look as flattering on my skin. And I've heard people say that they don't like the contour formula. In general, most people are in agreement that the highlighter formula is really good. I do like the contour formula. I feel like it blends out well, it dries fast. So as long as you can move quickly, you'll be fine. But the highlighter formula is perfect. It's very easy to apply. It looks great on top of any makeup, whether it is cream makeup, liquid makeup, powder makeup. And I just think it gives you like that gorgeous glowing from within look, but you can also build it up to look really intense on the cheeks. And then the blush is my least favorite, but I've heard people say the exact opposite. So maybe swatch them if you can. I'm trying to think if there's a store where you can actually swatch these. I'm pretty sure my CVES has actual testers out, but now I don't know for sure. So anyway, just wanted to mention them. These were all over social media a few years ago, and I personally do still like them. Let's wrap it up with two old school products, the Essence Pure Nude Highlighter. This was viral before like going viral was a thing. This was so popular on YouTube back in the day. And I have seen people talk about it more recently as well. But if you have never tried this and you like a subtle highlight, this is perfect. I feel like my highlighter preferences have changed a lot. And even though sometimes I like a very glowy highlight, I don't know if you can tell today, I have the Rare Beauty Highlighter on. Just a small amount though. That can be very intense. In general, I do like something a little bit more subtle, and this is perfect. Every time I wear this and I catch a glimpse of my makeup in the mirror, if I'm like outside or in a store, I'm like, oh, what am I wearing today? It's always this. It just looks natural and pretty and smooth without taking away from the rest of your makeup. Another old school favorite is of course the Milani Baked Blush Formula. I feel like I talked about these a lot this summer, and I don't know if I just kind of like fell back in love with them this summer, but these are beautiful. Baked Blushes actually did make a little bit of a comeback this year. There were a few brands that did Baked Blush launches and even brands that launched something kind of similar that wasn't necessarily marketed as a Baked Blush. But there's something about a Baked Blush Formula. It doesn't sound the most appealing. And when you touch it, like when you actually touch the product, it doesn't feel like it's going to look nice on the skin. So I feel like if I was just like swatching products, I wouldn't be attracted to a Baked Blush Formula. But these look beautiful on the skin. If you like a glowy blush, kind of like a blush highlighter all in one, these are amazing. Some do have actual glitter in them, some don't. I honestly want to take these and apply them all over my cheeks. They're absolutely stunning. So again, an old school favorite that maybe hasn't gone viral recently, but it's something that is truly worth all of the hype it gets on social media.
