In the last video we saw that people were taking Kanoj
In the midst of the kingdom of the nations and the kingdom of the peoples
There was a tripartite struggle going on.
To understand this growing tripartite struggle
So in today's video we'll cover Pal Kingdom first.
Pal Kingdom was originally in Bengal region.
And in 750 A.D. to end the Anaki in this region
And the second thing is that they had also captured Maghat while extending their territorial area.
Who are in today's Bihar
So now we can say that their rule was not extended to all Bengal but to Bihar.
And so we can say that in 750 A.D. the Pal Dynasty began
And in 770 A.D. Gopal was succeeded by his son Dharmapala.
Dharmapala ruled for about 40 years.
That is, from 770 A.D. to 810 A.D.
And it turns out that in fact the beginning of the Trappist struggle was the beginning of Dharmapala's rule.
Because before this, nobody was even taking Pal Dynasty seriously.
Dharmapala is considered the most powerful ruler of the Pal dynasty.
They also managed to capture Kannoz for some time.
And how they captured Kanoj is also a very interesting story in itself.
During the rule of Akshari Dharmapala, the Gurjars controlled the Kannoj.
At that time Gurjar was a king and a king.
Who ruled from 780 A.D. to 800 A.D.
This was the time when the nation was ruled by King Dhruv in Deccan.
These three kings were each other's contemporaries.
And these three kings were careful to try to extend their tactics
A similar attempt was made by King Vats Raja.
When they started to grow like Bengal with their army
Wats was growing up like a Bengal king.
In the meantime, the nation's King Dhrub attacked them.
After defeating the rebels, the nation's king fell back to Decal Lot.
And after this defeat, the Perihar King fled to Rajasthan.
They tried to get back to their full strength.
And so he wandered in the deserts of Rajasthan
Keep trying to regroup and rebuild your forces.
And taking advantage of this opportunity, Pal Ruler Dharmapala took up Kannauj.
So this was the situation in which, in 790 AD, Dharmapala captured Kannauj.
And thus now the rule of the Pal dynasty was established on Kannur.
After this, Pal Raja Dharmapala erected a multitude of grand darbars, whereupon all the kings of the surrounding area were summoned.
The king of Punjab and the king of Rajasthan also joined the court.
During the rule of Dharmapala, Dharmapala's influence was felt over a very large part of India.
This rule of Dharmapala in North India did not last long, because in 800 A.D. the Gujarapatisara king became Nagbhattu, who was a very powerful king.
In his absence, Gujarapatishar was reviving all his lost territories and he also recaptured Kannauj.
You can assume that after 800 A.D. Dharmapala's golden period was over.
Because on one side the husbands were leading Nagbhata two and on the other side the Rashtkurts were leading the most powerful ruler of the Rashtkurt dynasty Govinda III and in different battles these two rulers led Dharmapala.
And thus the powerful dynasty was confined to Bihar and Bengal.
In such circumstances, when Dharmapala's son Devpal became king in 810 A.D., Devpal ruled for a very long time like his father.
His rule lasted from 810 A.D. to 850 A.D. During his rule, both Rajat Kut and Gujarati Pratiyar were very powerful.
But in Bengal and Bihar regions they still remain strong,
No one had the courage to challenge them in Bengal and Bihar.
If even the greatest ruler of the Gujar Parishad, Mihir Bhoj, when he once tried to extend his teletry in the East,
So he couldn't stand up to Devpal, he had to see defeat from me.
So the situation was that neither the Gujjar counter-attackers could defeat them in Bengal and Bihar, nor did they have the courage to defeat the Gujjar counter-attackers in the North.
So in this case if Deopal wants to expand his territories, then he has only one option to expand his territories in the East.
And they did the same, they took over parts of Assam, Orissa and modern Nepal, and now the eastern boundary of their empire had been extended to the Jagadjyotipur of Assam, which is on the territory of present-day Guwahati.
But his successors after Deopal were not so strong, though despite this the Pal dynasty remained controlling till 1162 AD, but in this period he was not shown as a major power, but a old saying is that he gave
One must blow once before one is old and so it was in the case of Pal Dynasty.
He ruled from 988 to 1038 AD, he tried to strengthen the Pal Empire once again, and he also extended his territorial area to Varanasi, but in
I had to see the defeat of Imperial Chola ruler Rajendra Firt before me, and Bengal
A large part of the Pal dynasty, which was the seat of power at that time, was now out of their hands, and finally, after a few years of their rule, the name of Pal dynasty was erased from the map of India.
