The way that my hair is bleached at the moment, when I wear my hair like this I just look like a skunk.
That is not intentional.
Hello everybody, welcome back.
So today I'm going to be talking about some more makeup dupes.
I love high-end makeup but I also love finding an affordable alternative
because not everybody has the means to buy high-end makeup
and sometimes the drugstore affordable stuff is just as good
and I love finding those kind of alternatives.
So I'm going to do half of my face with the affordable drugstore side
and half with the high-end side and we will see how they match up.
If you like this kind of content, please give me a thumbs up, that would be really helpful
and feel free to subscribe if you want to see more of these videos
and if you have any dupes that I have not yet tested, let me know down below.
Guys, it's nearly that time of year again.
I can't actually remember where this cup was from.
Either James got this from Disneyland Florida or I got it from a Disney store.
I can't actually remember.
Either way, I love it.
And I know my straw is upside down, I do that on purpose.
I mean, there is Jack Skellington on there which kind of defeats the whole point actually.
Imagine Jack is this little stopper bit.
It's so I can do this and refill my cup without having to touch the straw
and the straw will like fall out and get sticky and then I can just do that again.
It's so dumb but a lot of people are like,
um, your straw is upside down and I'm like, I know.
I do appreciate though those people are probably just trying to help me but it's fine.
I don't actually have a primer dupe so I'm just going to,
I'm just going to use this e.l.f. one which is the liquid poreless putty primer.
I hope these match because I am actually going out for dinner with Ellie later
and I have to be in public so.
The first dupe that I'm actually going to test,
I can't say for sure that these are a dupe until I put them on my face.
However, when I first tried this Maybelline foundation,
which is the new Lumi Matte one, really nice by the way.
If you have oily skin but you like a thinner texture foundation,
I think you will love this.
It's actually one of my new favourites.
By the way, I did an ad for this on my TikTok but this video is not an ad.
I'm not, like, I'm no longer in a kind of affiliation with them.
Do you know what I mean?
A lot of people were asking me how this compares to the Maybelline Skin Tint.
I would say this is a little bit more matte and it's a little bit of a thinner texture actually.
The Skin Tint is maybe slightly thicker and a little bit more glowy
but they're very, very similar.
But the first thing I thought when I put this on my face
is it reminded me a lot of the texture of the new Bobbi Brown.
Wait, is this even new?
The Bobbi Brown Weightless Skin Foundation.
It's new to me anyway.
I tried this recently.
I've got my Maybelline one in the shade 118.
Oh my god.
Does anyone remember those adverts on TV for that 118 company?
You know what? I couldn't even tell you what 118 even did.
Okay, so I did actually just do a full pump of that.
I probably didn't quite need that much.
And then my Bobbi Brown foundation I've got in the shade N042 Beige.
Let's also do a pump of this.
Yeah, the texture of them just feels so similar.
I don't know if you can see as I'm applying it on my face.
They're both very thin foundations.
This one smells weirdly like floral which I don't really like actually.
Let's just blend this in.
I can't necessarily say if you have dry skin what you would think of this Maybelline foundation
because it is a bit more like...
I would say it's like a semi-matte kind of finish
or like a satin kind of finish is probably a better way of describing it.
I'm definitely going to have to...
God, don't make me jump.
I'm definitely going to have to bronze up my neck, aren't I?
But that's fine. I can do that.
So as you can see, nice coverage but it's not too thick.
And then I'm going to use the other side of my sponge to blend in the Bobbi Brown.
I've also seen people comparing the Maybelline one to the Houselabs foundation.
But the Houselabs foundation on me is very, very glowy, like super dewy looking.
So I don't know about that.
Oh, and also the texture of this reminded me of the Laura Mercier one.
Okay, so actually on my skin, the Bobbi Brown one is definitely more skin-like
and definitely has less coverage.
The Maybelline one is fuller coverage for sure.
So you can definitely see the difference there, I think.
This one is a little bit more luminous and a little bit more skin-like
whereas the Maybelline one is a bit more of a matte finish.
So actually on the skin, I wouldn't necessarily say that that's a dupe.
But if you like the feeling of a thinner foundation, like the thinner texture,
they definitely both have that.
I'm actually just going to add a second layer of the Bobbi Brown one.
Just to try and build up the coverage a little bit.
Ooh, just got foundation all over my earring.
That looks a bit more similar, but the Maybelline one's definitely more matte, isn't it?
But that's okay.
I just wanted to try it.
I don't have a concealer dupe, so I'm just going to use the Fenty one on both sides.
This is the Fenty, like, hydrating concealer.
I have got the shade 120N.
I've been using this a lot recently.
I really like it.
And by the way, the Maybelline foundation is, I think, like £12.
The Bobbi Brown one is £43.
So it's a full, like, £30 more expensive.
It's a very expensive foundation.
It is nice, though, if you're into your high-end makeup products.
The next dupe that I'm excited for is for the Rare Beauty Contour Stick,
which is one of my favourite contour products.
You know what, guys?
This was my favourite for so long, and then I got down to the very end of it,
and I just stopped using it because I was like, well, I don't want to use it up.
And I started using other things, and then I never got to the end of this.
But I love this contour product.
I've got the...
I could not tell you.
I think I've got Happy Soul.
Is that the shade?
It's all come off the bottom because I've had the same on the makeup bag.
But the dupe that I have for this is from Sephora.
This is the Sephora Collection Make It Bronze Bronzer Stick,
and I've got the shade 01 Vitamin C.
This, I think, is £25.
The Sephora one is £14.
So you've got a saving of £11 there.
The shades of these aren't quite the same, but let me just show you on my face.
Let's do a little swipe of Rare Beauty there and there,
and then just down my nose.
This is super pigmented, so you don't really need a lot of it.
And then the Sephora one on this side.
Actually, those shades look kind of...
No, the Sephora one's definitely a bit lighter in it.
So let's blend out the Rare Beauty first.
I've always liked how easily this blends.
As you can see, you just kind of tap over it like that,
and it blends really quickly.
I've also blended that a bit too far down my face.
And then the forehead.
Nice, nice.
And then I'm just going to do this with my brush.
Hopefully that's all right.
And then blend out the Sephora side.
Again, so creamy and also blends out like a dream.
Do you see how easy that was?
I mean, this one is a bit lighter in colour,
but in terms of the formulas, I would say they're pretty similar, you know?
The Sephora one I think is really underrated.
I don't really see that many people talking about it.
Again, I did also do a sponsored TikTok with Sephora.
It was quite a while ago now, maybe like a month ago.
But this video is not sponsored.
I actually bought this bronzer stick myself when I was in Prague recently in Sephora.
Oh my God, okay, yeah, the Rare Beauty one is definitely a darker shade.
Wait, will you allow it if I just use this on the other side of my nose as well
so that I don't look insane?
But you can see how they blended out.
And I really rate the Sephora ones.
I mean, I still love the Rare Beauty one,
but if you're looking for something similar, hopefully that helps.
I mean, even now looking at me, can you even tell that I'm wearing
completely different products on both sides of my face?
Let me just blend over that a bit to make them a bit more even.
And then this is new to me.
I was in Boots the other day just having little brows, as you do,
and I did actually pick up a Full Face of Natural collection,
which they've just brought back, which is their really affordable brand.
I got one of every single product for a full face, and it was like 40 quid.
Maybe 45 pounds, I think, for like a full face of makeup.
So that will be coming soon.
I also have a Full Face of Sephora collection,
so let me know which one you want to see first,
but I will do both of them eventually.
I saw this from Boots 17, which is another one of their own brands,
which are actually killing it at the moment.
Their bronze drops are amazing, their blush drops are amazing,
their mascara is so good, the lengthening mascara, love that.
Anyway, this was new, and I saw the packaging and was like,
another Charlotte Tilbury dupe.
Like, are we really?
Another brand is trying to dupe this.
I have not really tested an exact dupe for this yet.
People dupe the packaging all they like,
but the formula is the most important thing when it comes to a dupe,
in my opinion.
So this is the Charlotte Tilbury Pinkgasm,
and this is the 17 Glow Bright Blush Wand in the shade Pink Bon Bon.
This was the only one they had left, and somebody had opened this,
but luckily the product had not been used,
so I was like, I'm going to take that home with me.
I have no idea if these shades are going to...
Oh, I don't think these shades are going to match at all.
Yeah, they did have other shades, but they did not have any of them.
Oh my God, look how...
Can you see how bright this is?
Oh, shit.
Guys, this is not going to be similar at all.
Let's see if the formula's the same,
because like I said, they did have other shades.
Oh my God, look how bright that is.
What the hell?
I hope this is going to be glowy.
I'm going to give it a blend.
Okay, that's kind of just disappearing into nothing.
They do also seem to have a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury bronzers,
like, versions of these.
So let me know if that's something else that you would like to see.
But in terms of the colour, that is completely different.
Like, if I just show you Sea Tilbs on the other side,
and blend this in.
This is such a love-it-or-hate-it product, but I flipping love that.
I actually wore this on my wedding day, because, I don't know.
I just love the glow that it gives and, like, the bit of colour,
and I think it's so...
It's, like, subtle, but in the most beautiful, radiant way.
I love.
It gets messy as hell, though, which is annoying.
And then, yeah, look.
The other side is going to be completely different.
It's definitely got some glow, though.
Can we see that?
Is that, like, my chic?
My chic?
My chic reflecting?
My cheek reflecting?
With that second layer, you can definitely see that.
But is it the same?
No, I would not say so.
But maybe I should try some of the other colours.
If anybody else has tried those, and they're any good,
let me know what you think.
I'm going to set my face with the Rimmel Match Perfection Powder,
which is an oldie, but a goodie.
It's a pretty good one from the drugstore.
From the drugstore.
Who do I think I am, American?
You know, it used to actually bother me
when people in the UK would say drugstore,
because I was like, well, we're not American.
We don't call it the drugstore.
But just as time has gone on, it's got so much easier.
Because people watch me from all countries,
I feel like it just makes more sense to say drugstore makeup,
because then people immediately know what you're talking about.
It's like drugstore versus high-end kind of thing, you know?
Okay, now I make my crazy face.
And then I'm just going to get right in there with my powder puff.
Setting my face is actually probably the longest step of my makeup,
just because I want to make sure that I get into every little crevice, you know?
I mean, even at this stage of my face,
even with the two different sides of blush,
unless you actually really look to me close up,
you would not look at my face and be like,
oh my god, your makeup looks so different on both sides.
Do you know what I mean?
And then for my powder bronzer, I'm just using this 17 one.
I've got the lightest shade in this, I think, which is 010.
I need to bring some of this down my neck,
because my neck is very pale.
By the way, if you hear any weird sounds,
it is James washing his car.
Bring some of that down my nose.
And then I'm just filling in my eyebrows.
This is the Coffee Brow Gel from Bare Minerals,
the strength and length one.
And then I'm just using the, what is this?
Kylie Brow Pencil in Cool Brown.
I don't know what is going on with the weather in the UK the past week,
but it's suddenly, like, really hot again.
It was literally last week.
It was like loads of fall, and I had to put the heating on,
so I don't know what is going on there.
But you know what?
I'm not going to complain about it, because I'm loving the sun.
And then for my blush, I recently got some of the NYX Buttermilk Blushes.
Again, I bought some.
I was also sent some.
But this one, I think, was one of the ones that I was sent.
It's the shade You Know Butter.
I just looked at these and was like,
they look similar enough to me to test it as a dupe.
So that is exactly what I'm going to do.
The next one is £9.
The Iconic London one, I think, is around, like, £25.
So I'm just going to take some of this first and put it on this cheek, obviously.
It looks very scary in here,
but actually when you take some on your brush,
like, it does build up a little bit more slowly, which is nice.
I actually wish I got more use out of this over the summer,
because it's such a gorgeous coral-y summer blush shade,
and it has that little bit of shimmer in it as well.
I think the main reason I love shimmery blushes at the moment
is because anything that can save me a bit of time when I'm getting ready.
And if I can cut out having to do a highlighter and blush and just do it all in one,
I'm sold.
Okay, so that is that one.
I might end up adding a little bit more, but I'm just going to go lighter with it.
And then on the other side, let's do the NYX one.
The NYX ones are definitely more pigmented.
They scare me a little bit, but they do blend really nicely.
Can you see that's also got a bit of a glow to it?
I mean, yeah, in small amounts, side by side.
I would say, actually, the NYX one has got less of a glow.
It's a little bit more on the matte side.
It's like matte with a tiny bit of shimmer.
The Iconic one is more of that kind of almost like a wet-looking glow.
So I do actually still prefer the glowiness of this one,
but in terms of the shades, actually side by side,
the shades really don't look that much different at all on my face.
The NYX one's maybe just a little bit brighter,
but I'm just going to put whatever's left on my brush is going on my nose.
The NYX one's definitely a little bit brighter,
but let me just see if I can build up the Iconic side.
There you go. Can you tell? Not really.
So if you like the look of this corally colour, you'll probably really like the NYX one.
And I do like these NYX blushes. I think they're good for the price.
Hello. I brought you a bit closer because I'm going to do my eyes next.
And this next dupe is...
Okay, these are not wildly different in price.
However, you get a lot more bang for your buck.
And I have previously tried dupes for the Urban Decay Moondust eyeshadow.
This is in Space Cowboy, which was the most popular one.
I think they do have another shade that was also pretty viral.
And this is another product that I used on my wedding day.
This is £16, and it's the Giordano Tisci Twinkle Tower.
But you get four different shades in here for £16.
The Urban Decay is £20 for just one shade.
And in the Giordano Tisci one, which, again, I've used this quite a lot on my channel, I think.
I've used it a lot in my life.
So in this one, you get the top shade, which is like a white, sparkly colour,
which this is a really good dupe, actually, of the Mario Badescu...
No, the Makeup By Mario Master Crystal Reflector, one of my favourite products.
Although the Makeup By Mario one is a little bit more sparkly, I think.
You also then get a gold shade, which is really gorgeous.
You get a... This one is more of like a bronzy, orange-y gold, copper-y kind of colour.
And then finally, on the bottom, you get the shade, which is...
It's almost like a... I don't know. How would you describe this shade?
Like a taupe-y colour?
So that is the one that I'm going to be using today,
because I believe it was probably designed to dupe the Urban Decay one.
They're not identical, so this is the Urban Decay one.
And then the Giordano Tisci one is definitely a little bit less pigmented.
And it is actually a little bit less sparkly.
I don't even know how well you can see that on camera.
So this one is the Urban Decay one, this one is the Giordano Tisci one,
but I don't know. Can you even see?
Also, sorry, just a second to appreciate my nails that took me like four hours.
The day after I did these nails that took me so long, I was like,
oh my god, I love these nails, I'm going to keep them for like a month.
I had a nail job come in that I wanted to accept, and the deadline is in four days.
So now I'm like, do I just completely remove them to do this nail job,
or do I paint over them, or do I stick on some fake nails
with some little sticky tabs over the top of these to do this nail ad,
because it's just about like the colours and a particular kit
rather than application on bare nails.
So I'm like, do I stick fake nails on?
You know what, just before I do that, I'm going to just add a little bit of a brown wing.
I'm just using Colourpop, I think this is the shade Overboard.
Does that just make anyone else think of Justin Bieber
and when Miley Cyrus joined him on stage and they sang it together?
Oh my god, those were the days.
I'm overboard.
Okay, let's do the Urban Decay, obviously on this eye, obviously.
That's the whole process of this entire video.
Only thing is, there's not really a whole lot for it to stick to at the moment.
You know what, I might just setting spray my face,
which by the way, setting spray dupe.
The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray.
Really good dupe for this.
I don't know why the plastic is still on that.
It's the Milani Make It Last Original Setting Mist.
I have recently really been liking this
and they both do the thing where they stick your makeup on.
I'm way too much on the Charlotte Tilbury side.
Bloody hell.
Well, hopefully my eyeshadow will stick while that's still drying.
Much better.
Honestly, I don't even find myself reaching for the Urban Decay one that much
because I actually prefer the kind of clear colour,
like the top layer of this Giordano Tiscia one
or like the Make Up By Mario Master Crystal Reflector
that kind of doesn't really have any colour
whereas this one has got a tiny bit of colour.
Just because with the other one, you can add it over the top of anything.
Okay, so let's take the Giordano Tiscia on this eye.
Honestly, the white Giordano Tiscia one is a lot more sparkly than this one
so I'm not too sure.
I would say out of the stack, this is probably the least pigmented
but because to me, this looked like it was going to be a dupe of the Urban Decay,
I was like, I need to test them side by side.
So you do have to build that one quite a lot
and I actually think the Urban Decay one's a bit warmer, isn't it?
As in like in colour.
On the eye, it's a bit more of like a warm brown
whereas this one looks a bit more kind of grey.
I'm actually going to try a little bit of this golden-y one
to see if I can almost mix the shades together and make them match.
That's still lighter, isn't it? In colour.
Although now, I think that's overtaken the sparkliness of the Urban Decay one
so it depends what you're going for, really.
I would say by itself, this shade is definitely more pigmented
and more sparkly than the last shade in the Giordano Tiscia stack.
However, if you're going for that kind of look,
this, in my opinion, I think both those shades mix together.
I actually think I prefer how that looks over the Urban Decay one.
Both are gorgeous.
It just kind of depends what you're going for, really.
And I don't have a mascara dupe but I'm just using this one
which is the Maybelline Surreal False Nose one.
Huh! No!
So, with my mascara on, this is how the eyes are looking.
As you can see, this one's looking a bit brighter.
I think because, yeah, with that gold shade,
there's kind of like some lighter golds mixed in with it
so it looks a bit more sparkly than the Urban Decay side.
I mean, I don't even know how well you can tell on camera, to be honest,
but they are both gorgeous.
Okay, so finally, onto the lips.
I have got dupes for lip liner and lipstick, balm, whatever you want to call it, gloss.
I have spoken about this before but I have not showed you on camera.
If you are interested in the Fenty lip liners, which I love,
and again, I did actually wear this one on my wedding day,
the Trace Out Lip Liner in the shade Thugs Blush 2.
Another one of my favourite shades from the Fenty lip liners is called Peanut Butter.
So I tried these.
I can't remember which ones I tried first,
but either way, when I tried the Maybelline ones,
I was like, these are so similar to the Fenty ones
in terms of the consistency, in terms of the smudge-proofness.
I was swatching all of these shades trying to find a dupe for the Thugs Blush 2 colour,
which I'm going to swatch these on my hand.
I would say out of all of these, the most similar from Maybelline
is probably the shade Line Leader 06.
So this one is the Fenty one and this one is the Maybelline one.
As you can see, they're very, very similar shades.
The Maybelline one's just a tiny bit lighter.
Other shades that I will give a mention to are Out of Line.
Actually, maybe Out, you know what?
Out of Line is also super similar but it's just a tiny bit less pink.
But that is also really similar to the Fenty one.
It's maybe just a bit more brown.
And then there's also the shade Player in the Maybelline one.
Actually, that one's quite a bit darker.
That one's Player. Yeah, that one's darker. That's not really a dupe.
But for Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter is this one here.
It's like a cool-toned brown.
Brown? It's a cool-toned brown.
And then the Maybelline Lifter Liner in the shade On It 05.
I literally cannot tell them apart.
Look how flipping similar those two are.
The Fenty one is maybe a tiny bit more of a warm brown
but it's not just the colours of these that are similar.
So this is the Fenty.
So that's the Fenty shade in Peanut Butter.
Just waiting for these to dry, by the way.
And then on this side, the Maybelline.
Like, actually, on the lips, the Maybelline one is a little bit more cool-toned.
But, like, can you tell?
Like, you'll have to let me know.
It looks wild like this because I've not filled in my lips yet
but I can't really tell the difference, to be honest.
But what I was talking about is the formulas.
They are both smudge-proof.
Like, I don't know how they do it.
Somebody tried to claim on my TikTok when I was rubbing the Maybelline one.
They were like, you're not rubbing it.
But I was rubbing it with my whole finger like this, right?
But they were like, uh, you're not even touching it.
Just because my fingertip wasn't touching it.
I was trying to show you even more by doing, like, my whole finger like this.
Just to show you my fingertip.
Honestly, I find it easier to rub on my hand like this
because my fingertips get more sweaty than, like, the flat part of my finger.
So that just, like, glides easier.
Like, what?
They don't budge.
They are still there.
Like, they didn't even smudge.
I don't know how they did that.
But then even better, to go with those Fenty lip liners,
one of my new recent favourite products from Fenty is their Gloss Bomb Stix.
And I've got the shade Fenty Glow and I've also got the shade Is It Fussy.
This is another one that I wore on my wedding day.
Let me just do a swatch on my hand of Is It Fussy.
These are like a very tinted, very, like, colourful lip balm type formula.
The dupe that I found for Is It Fussy is the NYX Slick Click.
And again, these are very similar to the Hourglass tinted lip balm things.
And they've duped a whole bunch of other things, really.
This is the NYX Slick Click Shiny Lip Balm in the shade Going Viral.
So if I just show you this compared to the Fenty one.
That's those two there.
They are so similar.
And also very similar in formula.
But then the one today that I'm going to dupe on my lips is the shade Fenty Glow.
So this is like a brown tone nude.
And then I've got two dupes for this.
The ELF Pout Clout Plumping Pen in the shade Toasted.
That is the smallest writing I've ever seen in my life.
So Toasted is this one here, which again, so similar.
And then also the NYX Slick Click in the shade Link In My Bio, which is one of my faves.
That one is actually pretty spot on in terms of a dupe for the Fenty.
Like, what the hell?
So let's put the Fenty on this side.
And then let's do the NYX one because I think this one's a bit more similar.
And this is both of them on my lips.
Like, can you actually tell the difference?
I think the Fenty one is a tiny bit glossier and maybe a tiny bit thicker.
But like, oh my god, come on.
You can't tell.
You really can't tell.
They are such good dupes for each other.
And I was so happy to have discovered those.
Would you tell?
Like, let me know, honestly.
Would you be able to tell looking at me, like, walking down the street?
Like, oh, two sides of her face are different?
Because I don't think I would.
Well, there you go.
That is my half and half face of dupes.
I hope this was helpful.
If you did find it helpful, please give this a thumbs up.
That would be great.
I think a thumbs up helps me somewhere in the algorithms.
If you could do that, that would be amazing.
I am happy with everything.
I think my makeup still looks great on both sides.
Let me know what you think.
I will try and leave everything linked down below in the description box.
And I hope you guys are good.
I will see you in my next video.
Bye.
