After his wife meets a grisly end, Jamie Ashen (Ryan Kwanten) returns to their creepy hometown of Ravens Fair to unravel the mystery of her murder. Once there, he discovers the legend of Mary Shaw (Joan Heney), a murdered ventriloquist whose eerie presence still looms over the town. As he desperately digs for answers, Jamie encounters the curse that took his wife's life and threatens his own.
Her body was brought to my father's mortuary so he could begin work on her final request.
Not only did she ask to be buried with her dolls, she asked to become a doll herself.
She was buried. Raven's Fair has been plagued by death. Families murdered.
They were found without their tongues, posed in family portraits. Your wife is the last.
How could you take these pictures? No, I have to take pictures. It's part of my business.
Who would have dug up the dummy and sent it to me? I don't know. No one in this town
dare speak Mary Shaw's name, let alone go near her grave. They know she won't stop
killing until the screaming does. You said she lived out of that old theater,
right? The one on Lost Lake? Jamie, Jamie, please. Please be careful.
If you go looking for answers, you just might find them. That's what I'm counting on.
