Bonjour les amis et bienvenue dans un nouvel épisode de Easy French. Good afternoon, my friends and welcome to a new episode of Easy French.
Today, we're going to ask the Parisians what language they find the most beautiful here.
It's a party!
What's your favourite language?
Le français, naturally, there is no doubt about that.
I don't know why, yours is which?
Moi, my language of choice, is German.
On a passive with them, but on a fait la paix.
But it's still much less pretty than the French.
What is your favorite language, the one you find the prettiest?
So, I think that French, when it is spoken well, is very beautiful.
I have trouble with pronunciation.
Otherwise, I like Spanish and I like Hebrew too.
Voilà, these are the languages I find very beautiful.
In the world?
I don't know, I like French, but I don't know.
You're from where, if I'm not indiscreet?
I'm from New York.
You've been learning French since you were little?
Yeah, because my mother is French.
Technically, it's my first language, but I grew up there, so I had to learn it later.
I suppose you're not a bad traveler?
Yes, yes, yes, in Europe.
Are there any languages you like in Europe?
Yes, I like German, my father is Austrian, so I like German.
And Italian, it's beautiful too.
What is your favorite language, which do you find the prettiest?
French and Japanese, those are my two favorite languages.
You learn Japanese?
I let go a little, but a little, yeah.
What made you like the Japanese?
I read manga, of course.
After that, I became interested in the rest, the series, the animation and the video games.
Have you had the opportunity to travel to Japan?
Not yet, it's in the planning phase.
I'm studying Japanese right now.
And I like it a lot, yes.
I find that learning a language, it allows you to learn the culture of the country at the same time.
And the inversion?
When you immerse yourself in the culture, you can also learn the language more easily.
In reverse, I believe the question was, what is your language?
And then, how did you fall into the Japanese?
The animes and the manga.
I'm allée au Japon beaucoup and at one moment, I said to myself
If I want to understand better, I have to learn the language.
Wow, what level?
How does the language sound, when you hear it speak, which do you find the most beautiful?
That's a good question.
I like Italians who speak French with their accent.
Pour in the sensual side.
My favorite language is French.
Because I've been studying it since I was in college.
And now, I've decided to continue studying English Foreign Literature in Italy, in Bologna.
And now, I'm here for an Erasmus programme, double degree.
And so, I like very well the French.
What are you studying?
Moi, I study comparative literature.
And so, I study Italian, English and French literature.
And so, you master these three languages perfectly?
I hope so.
Are there other languages you like?
Yeah, I also like German because I studied it at the lycée.
And so, I liked the German.
But unfortunately, when I enrolled at university, I had to decide which language to study.
And unfortunately, I lost my German.
But I hope to recover it perhaps by living there a few months.
Something like that.
Pour le coup, it's my mother tongue first, which is le kabyle.
Puis juste après, it's the French language.
I admit that it's the French language, yes.
So me, my favorite language, is Arabic because it's my mother tongue.
And by the way, it's my second mother tongue too, which is Kabyle.
Ensuite, maybe the French.
Because it's the only language I know in third place.
That's already three languages you speak, huh?
On three languages, yes.

And what do you like in the French language?
The sound and also the way the phrases are constructed.
And I like it, and I like the lexicons.
And so, the fact that it's a language quite similar to Italian,
Because they both come from Latin.
And therefore, I like it very much because I like the grammatical contrast.
And so we can find the similarities but also all the contrasts that exist between the two languages.
Are there any languages you like, speak or learn?
Yes, the Russian.
It's a language with a little structure, a little history.
On a past with him too.
Yes, but glorious.
When we're friends with the Russians, it goes well for us.
This is not really too local, l'amitié.
Encore German.
If you see what I mean.
Are there any other languages you'd like to learn, that you find cute?
Of the more complicated languages for Europeans and Americans to learn,
Like the Arab and the Chinese.
It's incredible to speak these languages.
It's a very big challenge.
I don't know if I'm going to do it.
Are there any other languages that make you dream, that you would like to learn?
I think there are some hyper-exotic languages in the sense where
Learning Mandarin is a dream for everyone.
But it's much more complicated than learning Latin languages that are close to ours.
I don't know if I'd lean towards that if I had the chance.
Maybe things that are closer to what I know as Italian.
Des choses comme ça, plus the easy ones.
I know I'll have more chances to learn and to go till the end.
Maybe that.
Are there languages you would like to learn well because you find them pretty?
All of them.
I love the whole voyage.
But I tell you, I'm a big fake.
Ideally, I would have liked to know how to speak English.
That's great.
And afterwards, among my travels, I found that everything that was Indonesian, was pretty cool.
It's the languages that are very quiet.
I should be able to speak English.
Spanish, I like it too.
Italian.
I like Italy very much, but I think it's too expensive.
Du coup, by principle, no.
Any other languages you like?
I like Italian.
- I'm not going to.
And then, English, it's quand même very, very practical.
It allows you to watch a lot of movies too.
It allows for a lot of travel.
And French is a beautiful language too.
There are a lot of beautiful texts.
Italian, you speak it?
You study it?
Yes, also.
I learned it in high school.
And my family is from the South, so I have some bases there too.
It's a very beautiful language with a lot of art too which allows...
It's beautiful.
Thank you friends for watching this episode.
I hope you like it.
You too, tell us in the comments
What are the languages you prefer?
