Firenze vs Scandicci | Italian Volleyball LVF SerieA1 2024/2025

two but they were two sets to one down and then revived themselves that's come straight back over and out and the power of the serve too strong and Scandicci starting very powerfully as you might say head woman but it Herbert's new captain that's a powerful serve got the most aces and there's another great start by the captain the most aces in the first match club that's a good one two it's over the net now Maloual tries to put it away and does so that needed to be dispatched but the key thing is oh put away what a dig though no whack-a-law and that's a wonderful finish by Ibizante Ferenci what a great team effort which is brimming with confidence and experience and expertise Maloual tries to get through but the block is just immense no wonder she roars good swing really well worked lovely serve reception perfect pass and this back down on Avini on for Canine to try to revive Ferenci oh what a great block what a great performance at the net hit that's a great touch but a great pickup brilliant at the backcourt and then a big hit by Stella Avini she's pepped them up certainly got power oh what a great block as if supporters of Ibizante Ferenci need any reminding tension for this first set it's in play Lingardi goes to the tip well read by Leonardi Castillo high Herbert's goes to the push still hasn't got a ground here comes Maloual I'll try and put that away and does so and they've saved another set point and again going a bit deeper this time that's quite close to the net and Drobova tries to go down the line and this time she's on in place put away for Graziani and Britt Herbert's big hit Graziani in the way one-on-one but couldn't dispatch that one as Butigan in her game pick up as well and there's so much more just 21 years old you know Wakalo for Scandici, Davyshkiva, Butigan, Maloual, Nervini, Mancini and Agrippolio for Ferenci wow flying through the air to try and take the game and the attack for Scandici and that's not the best pass from Drobova and so chance really now for Davyshkiva Butigan now middle blocker trying to maintain this run can they get close it's given Scandici something to think about but that's beautifully put away how like a guided missile in the match with eight points oh that's a good serve that had to go deep and a chance now for Firenze to draw level it's a big hit but Herbert keeps it in play oh and if you want someone to finish off and get you out of a hole then there are a few better in that's another great serve oh it's come yes triggered that great run within four points of Scandici nice swing got another chance waiting and then the Wakalo tries to get through it's a great block takes up her position position two big block Becky swings it over there once more and that's a good vantage to Scandici and that's going to be very difficult to haul back oh it's another great block Graziani is there once more it's another big hit and what a performance he's to a name already the block is up still in play though Agniewicz swings it once more and Drobova lands it through two defenders and it's 25 22 for the second set that's coming straight back over one touch two and boom doesn't go down Navini good pass Agniewicz has to move and Drobova will try to finish and boy she finishes nice pass lovely finish here's Giulia Mancini she's made a speciality of that big hit but big block sweet as you like oh that's a good hit just exactly where she wants Beckett once more on serve Castillo hardly put a hand wrong that's a great swing it's Davish Kieber again Scandici captain international and domestic she's picked it up brilliantly in the backcourt as well on top of a hoist it high how can Fidenzi make advantage of this big swing and nothing that Castillo can do it's that big hitter or so the coaches are about their two respective rosters big hit but the block is there well read by Rubbins and then Drobova will try and finish Davish Kieber does well to direct that pass forward Maloual is there but Nowakolor is there too battle friendly a few weeks ago 12-5 in favor of Scandici very close to the net but that was really well worked by Beckett to keep it in play but it's hoisted high she's a long way off the net on top of her oh my word she is outstanding just two points in it once more what a good serve by Davish Kieber and Drobova is big she's tall she's long but she can't keep it in play defend off a late challenge a late run by Fidenzi they're looking to make a hat-trick here comes Rubbins with the big swing Davish Kieber tries to get through Graziani blocks it once Castillo always in the right place at the right time and there's another great hit coming bang on cue Lindsay Ruddins with the pipe attack blocker by two from her teammate Linda Nowakolor that's not the most confident pass Navini will try and get it through still in play though by Graziani Maloual that had to be in and at least going deep it's not the best pass from Ruddins but here comes Mingardi doesn't land it Maloual might just do so picked up Castillo still in play lovely little tip by Davish Kieber Mingardi once more oh she's landed it Mancini can put pressure on Scandicci and keep Fidenzi in the match and she can't she's put it in the net and that means that Scandicci close it out 25-23 and they close out the match
