Hey everyone, today I'm reviving an old series
that I started about six years ago on my channel
and I used to do these videos annually,
but for some reason about three years ago I stopped
and I have no idea why
because this was something I always looked forward to doing
but I searched back through my channel
and the last one I did was in 2021.
So today we're gonna be talking about
my number one favorite product in every drugstore brand.
And these are the things that currently
are my number one picks
and the products that I use the most.
And I use that metric because otherwise it's way too hard
because with all of these brands,
there are several products that I really love
and I'm like, how do I narrow it down to just one product?
I was like, okay, let me just choose the product
that I use the absolute most and that made it a lot easier.
So what we're gonna do is kind of to put a fun twist on it,
I looked back at that video that I did three years ago
and I wanna see what products I picked then
and then compare it to now and see if they're the same.
So let's go ahead and just start with the first brand,
which is NYX.
So back three years ago,
my absolute favorite product from NYX
was their Sweet Cheeks Cream Blush.
And I actually do really still love this.
It's not my top pick,
but it's pretty high up there on the list.
I think it's an awesome cream blush.
It has like a matte moussey formula and it's not sticky.
I feel like they're really long lasting.
So it's a great pick
and I definitely still stand by that product.
And my number one pick, while it's not super exciting,
it's the product that I literally use every single day.
And I can't really say that for most of the things
that I'm gonna talk about today.
It's their Lipton Snatch Brow Pen in the shade Ash Brown.
This brow pen has just been a game changer for me.
Not only is this Ash Brown color,
the exact color of my brows
and that's really tough to find
because they have like an ashy undertone
and most brow pens are really warm toned.
So this is the perfect color, number one.
And number two, I always used to use brow pencils,
but this pen really allows you to make
those hair-like strokes that look so natural.
And ever since I started using this,
I just felt like my brow game went up a lot.
So this has just been an absolute staple in my routine
for the last two years or so.
So I have to give it the top spot,
but I'm also really fond
of their new Buttermelt Blushes and Bronzers.
I would say out of everything,
that's probably the product
that I use the second most from NYX.
Next up, we have e.l.f.
and they have so many good products.
It's honestly really hard to choose.
And when I was at the drugstore,
I just kind of stood in front of the e.l.f. display
and I'm like, you know, seeing it all together,
what is the product that just draws my eye the most
and the product that I use the most from them?
And three years ago, it was the Earth and Ocean palette.
So this palette actually was a really nice color story.
I loved how it had kind of the cool tones on one side
and the warm tones on the other.
I thought the formula was decent.
I did this whole video showing like,
I think three looks with the palette.
And I really enjoyed that one.
I don't think they make it anymore though,
but I do still have it.
I haven't reached for it in a couple of years now,
but if I had to pick the product that I use the most,
I would say it's the Lash Extender Mascara.
This is a tubing formula.
I think it's pretty close
to the Thrive liquid lash extensions.
And I use this not every day,
but at least a couple of times a week.
And I love this.
I think the formula is honestly perfection.
It's not quite as prone to clumping as the Thrive.
So I find that it doesn't weigh my lashes down.
It's really lengthening.
It gives some volume.
It's really just an all around beautiful formula.
And it also washes away so easily like all tubing mascaras
and it doesn't smudge.
So it's a great formula.
And coming in a very close second
is the new Soft Glam Foundation.
I use this a couple of times a week also.
And I think it's just the perfect medium coverage,
satin skin like finish.
It looks so beautiful.
So it was really close between this and the foundation,
but I have to go with this one.
I've been using it for a little bit longer
and I probably use it a little bit more often.
Next up, we have Neutrogena.
And this is a brand that I feel like is so overlooked
and really underrated.
There are so many amazing products from this line
that I love.
And I know I did a video about it several months ago.
And three years ago, my top pick from them
was the Hydro Boost Skin Tint.
And this is still a big favorite of mine.
This is one of the products I talked about in that video.
I wish the shade range was a little bit better,
but out of all the skin tints on the market,
this one is the best for dry skin.
It is so plumping.
It makes my skin look incredible.
And it doesn't have alcohol
like the Maybelline and L'Oreal skin tints.
And don't come for me.
I know a lot of people love those.
I'm just not one of those people.
I think they'd make my skin look so dry.
And the Neutrogena one is just amazing.
So I really still do love that.
But one thing that I use more than I use that skin tint
are their Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shines.
These are one of my favorite lip glosses.
I'm wearing one today in the video in Soft Mulberry.
Such a beautiful color.
And these are amazing for a couple of reasons.
One is they're super hydrating.
Even after the shine and the color wears off,
you still feel like your lips still feel hydrated.
They feel like a really thick, rich, cushiony lip balm.
Also, the colors that they come in are amazing.
They have no scent, no taste.
You don't even know that you're wearing them
other than you can feel the hydration.
And the best part is they make my lips look so smooth.
I suffer from lines and cracks in my lips
that make them look so dry all the time.
When they're not, they're just really wrinkled.
And there's something about this formula
because it's so thick and it just almost acts like a primer
and smooths out my lips and makes them look so much better.
So these are honestly one of my favorite lip glosses
of all time.
I've been wearing them for years and years.
And even though they don't have one that's clear,
they do have some really pale colors
that almost go on clear.
So even if I don't wanna really wear lipstick that day,
I'll still wear them,
or I'll put that on under something else
just to make my lips look smoother.
So these are just amazing.
Next up is ColourPop, one of my favorite affordable brands.
And I'm including them in this video
because they are sold at Ulta in-store and also at Target.
So they're kind of a drugstore brand.
And three years ago, my favorite product from them
was the Stone Cold Fox palette.
And this is one of the products that has not changed.
I thought a lot about all the ColourPop products that I use.
And by far, this is still the one
that I reach for the most.
There are so many things that I really enjoy from ColourPop,
from their blushes to their other eyeshadow palettes.
They have great lip products.
They're just an all-around solid brand.
But this right here, I just reach for the most.
It's the perfect kind of cool tone neutral palette.
And these are the shades that I like to go for the most
when I'm wearing eyeshadow.
I'm wearing this palette today on my eyes,
and it just never disappoints me.
I love the rosy shades on this side and over here,
which is kind of like what I'm wearing today.
But they also have kind of the silvery gray row.
They have the taupey colors
and a little bit of warm neutral.
So if you do wanna create a warm look,
you can still do that with this palette.
So it's just super versatile and the formula's amazing.
So this is one that's been my favorite
for years and years now.
All right, so the next brand is Essence.
And Essence, again, they have a lot of really nice products,
especially their older stuff.
I haven't had as much luck with the newer products
that they've come out with,
but certainly there are a lot of things
that are just holy grail for me in this line.
And three years ago, my absolute favorite from them
was their Pure Nude Highlighter.
And I still really do enjoy that one.
I don't wear highlighter that much anymore,
but if I wanna add a little bit of glow to my cheeks,
that's the one that I'll reach for
because it's kind of what I call a low glow.
It's not super shiny.
It doesn't have sparkle or glitter.
It just gives that little tiny bit of shine to your cheeks
without going overboard.
So if you're somebody who doesn't really like highlighter,
but you just wanna add that little glow to your cheeks,
it's the perfect option.
It's really subtle.
But since I'm not really wearing highlighter
that much anymore,
I don't reach for it nearly as often as I used to.
But there is one thing and it's kind of similar,
but it's just the blush version.
The Pure Nude Baked Blushes
are some of my favorite products from Essence.
And I know they just launched
those new Blush Crush Blushes, which are gorgeous.
And those may end up taking my top spot.
The more I use them, we'll have to see,
but I think they're just too new
to really make it on this list
because I have to give it to this.
I've used this particular color so much this year.
This is the shade Goldie Cassies,
and it's a purple blush.
It has just a hint of glow to it,
but it's not sparkly, just like the highlighter.
And what I love about this shade
is that it actually shows up cool toned on me.
A lot of blushes that look cool in the pan
end up kind of turning like a peachy color,
and this one doesn't.
It stays this really beautiful, cool,
dusty mauvey purple color.
And when I'm wearing a cooler toned eye look
or lips like I am today,
this is one of the few that I actually reach for.
There are only a couple of blushes in my collection
that show up cool toned on me.
I'm still on the hunt for more,
but if you have the same problem as I do,
definitely check into Purple Blushes
because they've made such a big difference.
And this is one of my favorites and it's super affordable.
Next up, we have Maybelline,
another really great brand with some amazing products.
I remember doing a whole video on the best of Maybelline
not too long ago, a few months ago,
and they just have some big hits for me.
I'm loving their new brow gel.
I like their complexion products, their blushes,
and their lip products are a big favorite as well.
So three years ago, my favorite Maybelline product
was their Lifter Gloss, and I do still like them,
but I have found some drugstore lip glosses
that I think I like a little bit more,
the Neutrogena being one of them,
and also some of the newer lip oils that have come out
that are just maybe a little bit thinner
than the Lifter Glosses and not quite as goopy.
So these days I would say I like the Lifter Glosses,
but I'm not in love with them like I was
because I do think there are formulas out there
that I like a little bit more,
but my top pick for 2024 would have to be the Lifter Liners.
Oh my gosh, I just discovered these a couple of months ago
over the summer,
but they've just become such a staple in my collection.
I actually started with two shades
and I ended up getting three more recently
because I just can't get enough of these.
I wear them as lipstick all the time.
I'll put down a lip balm first,
like this one from Dr. Pawpaw that I love,
or like the Lano Lips,
and then I'll just take the lip liner and outline my lips
and then just fill them in like a crayon.
And these are so creamy,
yet they really do hang on to your lips
and they're really long lasting.
And at the same time,
the colors that they come in are just so beautiful.
They make me wanna wear them as lipstick.
So these are by far my favorite
drugstore lip liner at the moment.
I like them just as much
as like the Makeup Forever Artist Pencils
or the Lawless Lip Liners
that I've talked about before too.
Those are some good high-end options,
but at the drugstore,
you honestly cannot go wrong with these.
Next up, we have Makeup Revolution.
This is a brand that has been very hit or miss
for me over the years.
And they're kind of the makeup equivalent of fast fashion.
So they're always coming out with new stuff
and discontinuing old things.
So three years ago,
my favorite was their Wild Animal Courage Palette,
which of course is no longer made.
If it was, that would still be my favorite palette.
That formula was just probably the best
that Makeup Revolution has ever done.
I don't know what they did differently
or why they didn't continue with that particular formula,
but it was the softest and most blendable formula.
And the shimmer shades were the perfect,
like super smooth, metallic, non-chunky,
like didn't get hard pan.
They were so incredible,
but they do have a new range of palettes
that I've really been enjoying.
I don't think the formula is as good as that one,
but it's close.
These are the Icon Palettes,
and this is the Enchanted Icon.
And this formula is definitely an upgrade
from Revolution's usual formula.
And I think it's really similar to BH Cosmetics.
So I'm hoping that maybe they're gonna start using
that formula since they bought them,
but I've really been enjoying this.
This was actually a suggestion from some of my viewers,
and I'm really happy that I bought it
because it's nicely pigmented.
The shadows are soft.
I think they did a great job with this one.
It's also long lasting on my eyes too.
So thumbs up for Makeup Revolution
when it comes to these Icon Palettes.
I still have to pick up a couple more
because I think they come in four different varieties,
but they're definitely worth a look.
Next up, we have CoverGirl.
CoverGirl has really come into their own
the last couple of years.
I felt like for a while there,
they were kind of a dying brand,
and they really revamped themselves
when they went cruelty-free.
And they've actually had a lot of exciting products
coming out in the last year or so especially.
And my favorite product from them three years ago
was their Simply Ageless Instant Wrinkle Blurring
Pressed Powder.
This is technically a setting powder,
but it has quite a bit of coverage.
So I use it as a powder foundation,
especially when you use the sponge.
It has, I would say like a medium coverage.
And this is still three years later
my most used product from CoverGirl.
I do like some of their new foundations.
These two in particular, I do use pretty often,
but not as much as I use this powder.
I used it today.
I have actually a whole dedicated video on this.
And in the video, you can see like how much
this just completely smooths over my pores and fine lines.
And even though I have dry skin,
it doesn't make my skin look dry at all.
I don't know how they do it.
I usually avoid powder at all costs.
This is one of the only ones that I can use.
And I love just how quick and easy this is.
I use this on days when I just wanna look really polished
and get out the door super fast
because it's easier than using a liquid
because then I have to get my sponge
or a brush or whatever.
This is like literally the sponge is right inside here.
I just quickly smooth it on my face in about 20 seconds
and I'm done.
So if you are over 40, if you have dry skin,
if you just have a lot of like pores and texture
and you want a powder that's gonna just smooth over
all of that and make your skin look airbrushed, try this.
I don't think you'll be disappointed at all.
Just make sure to apply it with the sponge
because I didn't have quite the same result with a brush
but putting it on with the sponge is like magic.
It's so good.
Next up we have L'Oreal.
This is another brand that it was so hard
to pick just one thing
because they have amazing complexion products.
They have nice lip products.
Their blushes are beautiful.
Just an all around really solid brand.
And three years ago, my number one pick
was their Magic Perfecting Base Primer
which if you've been on my channel for a while,
you know how much I loved that primer.
Unfortunately, it is discontinued.
And I know sometimes you guys mention in the comments
that you can still get it on Amazon.
But when I went over there,
I noticed that everybody who's listing it
are a third party seller.
So a lot of times they jack up the price
because it's something that you can't get anymore
and the scarcer it becomes,
the more the price is just gonna go up.
And also you don't really know who you're getting it from.
This could be really old stock.
None of the actual drugstores are selling this anymore.
L'Oreal has stopped making it.
They did confirm that.
So technically you can still get it
but you're gonna be paying a higher price for it.
And at some point pretty soon,
all of that old stock is gonna be gone.
I do have some backups.
So I have it for a little while
but unfortunately I've had to move on.
So my new favorite product from L'Oreal,
the one that I think I use the most
is their Infallible 24 Hour Fresh Wear Bronzer.
This is one of the best bronzers in my collection.
And I have so many that are really high end
even like luxury brands like the Gucci Bronzer
but this is just so perfect.
I have it in the fair shade
and it has this slightly cooler, almost rosy undertone.
So it's incredibly natural looking on my skin
because I do have that cooler pink undertone
and it just suits it so perfectly.
Not to mention this formula is incredible.
It is so silky and smooth
and it blends out on your skin perfectly.
It never looks muddy or cakey.
It just is perfection.
So soft and velvety.
I also have the light shade
which is one up from this.
And usually the light one I'll use more in the summertime
if I want a little bit of a deeper bronze look.
The fair one is pretty light
but I think it's a great like wintertime bronzer
when you're extra pale.
So when it comes to L'Oreal
there are a lot of products I really like
but this is the one that I definitely use the most.
Moving on, we have Catrice.
So Catrice, I did include them in this video.
I know they're not at drugstores anymore here in the US
but in Europe and other countries they still are, I believe.
And you can also get them on Amazon here.
So they're pretty easy to get.
And I actually forgot to mention Catrice
in that video three years ago.
So I don't have anything to compare it to
but I'm guessing that I probably
would have said the same thing.
And that is their True Skin High Cover Concealer.
This is the most magical concealer
because even though it's really full coverage
like the Tarte Shape Tape, for example, right?
Somehow it looks so smooth on my under eyes.
It doesn't look like cakey or thick or makeupy
and it stays in place.
Like it doesn't crease or age my under eyes.
I feel like it just sets itself down really well.
I don't feel like I have to powder it.
And at the same time, it has such great coverage
that it literally just hides everything that I want it to.
So it is such a good formula again
for those of us over 40 especially, but even if you're not
it's still an amazing concealer
that's gonna look really natural under your eyes
and it's not gonna look dry at all.
The next brand is Revlon.
This was another super hard decision for me
because I love so many of their products.
Their Illuminance Foundation is one of my favorites.
I love their blushes.
They also have a fantastic lip gloss formula.
So this was a tough call and going back three years ago
I'm actually kind of surprised at this
and I wasn't expecting this answer
but my favorite product was
their Skinlight's Prismatic Highlighter.
So again, I guess I was still wearing highlighter back then
and it is a really beautiful formula.
The one that I showed in the video in particular
which is called Daybreak Glimmer
was pretty much a spot on dupe
for Anastasia's Amrezy Highlighter.
Same kind of baked formula made in Italy.
It's really super smooth on your skin
but again, it's more of an intense highlighter
so it's not really something that I've been wearing lately
but if I had to choose my favorite product
I would say it's their Super Lustrous Lipsticks.
With these, in my humble opinion
you cannot get a better lipstick formula at the drugstore.
These are everything.
They are so smooth, really creamy.
They come in a couple different finishes.
Personally, I like the cream ones the best.
They also have some that have a little bit of frostiness
so just check on the tube to make sure
the finish that you're getting is the one that you want
but like I said, these are so creamy.
They're so high coverage
and they really make your lips look so smooth and so nice
and they also have no fragrance or scent to them
and that is key because the Maybelline ones do
even though I like their formula, the color sensational,
I don't like the scent.
Same thing with L'Oreal.
They have really great lipsticks
but they smell like flowers.
The Revlon ones, I just love that there's nothing.
When you put these on, you smell nothing.
It's amazing and they just come in so many beautiful colors.
I have a bunch of these now.
I'm constantly buying new colors of these.
I think they're just so good.
Moving on, we have Physician's Formula.
This is a brand I feel like I used to use so much more often
and now I rarely reach for their products.
For some reason, I don't know,
I feel like they've cut back on their line a lot.
They've discontinued a lot of products.
They've really slimmed everything down
and when I watched my video from three years ago,
I was positive I picked the Butter Bronzer
because that has historically been
my favorite Physician's Formula product
but actually, I picked this palette
from an influencer named Whaley
and I had forgotten all about that palette, honestly,
but it had the Butter Bronzer in it,
it had some of their Butter Blushes
and the Butter Highlighters
and it really was a nice palette, I have to say.
It kind of had all of those things in one place
so I guess at the time, I was using it a lot
but as is the case with pretty much all face palettes,
I never use those things.
I usually do at first when I get it
but then a few weeks or a few months later,
they end up sitting in a drawer
so it's kind of weird to me that I picked that as a favorite
but I guess just because at the time,
that was at the top of my mind.
So if I had to pick a newer product from them,
I would say the thing that I've used the most lately
are these new Butter Tinted Lip Conditioners.
So these are the ones that come in the funky packaging
and they look almost exactly like a Korean brand
that has a really similar product but I like these.
I think they're fantastic.
In a way, they remind me a little bit
of the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Lip Shines
that I talked about earlier
because they're like a liquid lip balm rather than a gloss.
They're very cushiony, they're very soft,
they don't have the sticky kind of feel
and they make my lips look really smooth.
They do have a coconutty kind of scent,
it's like a coconut vanilla.
Personally, I like it
but if you don't like scented lip products,
then you might wanna pass on these.
It's pretty strong,
it's kind of like how their butter bronzers are.
So just something to keep in mind
but I do think that these are worth checking out
if you like more smoothing lip colors
and you like more of like a liquid lip balm.
These are really good.
Next up, we have Flower Beauty.
This is another brand, what happened to them?
I feel like they were on such a roll
and they haven't released any new products in a long time.
They've discontinued so many of my favorites at this point
and the displays are looking kind of empty.
I haven't really seen them updated at CVS very much,
not to mention they stopped selling from their website,
I wanna say like at least two years ago now
and they still have that little sign on the website
that says we're working on something new, we'll be back
but nothing ever happened.
So I really hope they'll continue to make new products.
I hope this isn't a bad sign that they're not doing well
but personally, Flower is one
of my favorite drugstore brands.
I think their products are just so high quality.
So three years ago,
my favorite product was their Flower Pots blushes.
These are such an incredible formula, very silky.
They just melt into your skin.
They're so finely milled.
One of my favorite drugstore blushes for sure
and I have to say it's still my favorite.
I still use these blushes all the time,
especially the shades Wild Rose and Sweet Pea.
These are a little bit more cool tone.
They have that slightly purple undertone
that keeps them from turning super peachy on me
which I really appreciate.
And like I said, this formula is just amazing.
So while I definitely love a lot of Flower's products
this is still my number one.
It's the one that I reach for the most.
And then we have Milani.
This was another super hard decision
because they have such a high quality brand.
Everything feels really high end.
I'm obsessed with their blushes.
Their concealer is one of my favorites.
Their anti-gravity mascara, their setting spray.
Like they have so many amazing products
that I do use on a regular basis.
And three years ago I said that my favorite product
was their Cheek Kiss Cream Blush.
And I definitely still stand by that
even though I don't use them as much as I did back then.
I think they're one of the best cream blushes
in my collection, not just at the drugstore.
They really feel very high end.
They blend out on your cheeks really nicely.
They dry to a powder finish
so they don't disturb your foundation underneath
and they also don't lift up
if you try to put down another layer and build them up.
They just build on themselves really well.
So amazing formula, definitely still love those.
But if I had to pick something
that I use the most from Milani,
it would definitely be their Fruit Fetish Lip Oils.
These are so good.
Another really amazing gloss at the drugstore.
And before when I was talking about
the Maybelline Lifter Glosses
and how other formulas have come out since then
that I like better,
I think this and the NYX Fat Lip Oil
are the two that really kind of moved me away
from using the Lifter Glosses as much
because these are just such a superior formula.
They actually remind me a lot of the Clarins Lip Oils.
They have that really soft, cushiony texture
and they're not as goopy
as the Lifter Glosses from Maybelline.
They just sit so nicely on your lips
and they're the type of formula that hydrates
even after this wears off.
Your lips still feel really conditioned,
really moisturized.
So these are another huge favorite
and I love that they smell just like the name.
So they're really yummy.
They taste good.
They are definitely one of those products
at the drugstore that can compete
with any high-end or luxury formula.
So these are so great.
When it comes to Wet n Wild,
they're a brand that I have loved for so many years
and they're really a ton of staple products
that I've been using for probably a decade now.
So kind of like Essence,
a lot of my more Holy Grail products
have come from Wet n Wild.
But I feel like in recent years,
they've been a little bit more hit or miss.
They're doing a lot of pop culture and movie collabs
that I'm just not quite as into, I guess.
I'm not as into the whole limited edition thing
and I love when they release more permanent products.
So back three years ago,
my favorite product from them
was their Photofocus Stick Foundation.
This one, I know I've compared
to the Tom Ford Stick Foundation
that costs like $88.
I had both of them.
I did a side-by-side.
I remember it in a video
and I was just blown away
by how much the Wet n Wild looked just like the Tom Ford.
It's an amazing foundation stick,
but I'm pretty sure they don't make it anymore
because I haven't seen it in stores
in probably a good year.
And I'm honestly super bummed about that
because my skin doesn't really love stick foundations.
There are very few that I like on me
and that was one of them.
So even though I did love that foundation,
I would say my favorite Wet n Wild product now
is their Impossible Stick Primer.
You guys may remember me trying this out in a video.
I guess it was probably a couple months ago now
and I put this on half of my face
and then when I applied foundation,
the side with this primer looked so much more flawless
and airbrushed.
It really smoothed out all my pores and texture
and foundation just sat on top of this so beautifully.
I also have the Impossible Primer that's in the tube,
but for some reason,
the stick one just works so much better for me.
I actually used this today
under the CoverGirl Powder Foundation
and I just love like how grippy it is
and it just makes everything lie so smoothly.
And I feel like the stick packaging is so convenient too.
You just kind of run it all over your face.
You hardly even have to blend it with your fingers.
It just kind of sinks in.
So definitely check this out.
I feel like this is a really underrated product
that I don't hear a lot of people talking about.
The next brand is Almay.
Almay is another brand that I think kind of like Neutrogena
is very underrated.
Not a lot of people are talking about their products.
They rarely release anything new.
So I just feel like they're a very forgotten brand overall.
But every once in a while,
they come out with a product
that really like they just hit it right.
And three years ago,
my favorite product from them was their Healthy Hue Blush.
These blushes have this incredibly smooth formula.
It's almost like a baked product.
And even though they're a powder,
they have this melting quality
that almost like blends on your cheeks like a cream.
They just kind of sink in.
They don't look powdery.
They have zero kickup
and they have almost like a blurring airbrushed effect
on your cheeks.
They are gorgeous.
And I have to say
that is still my number one favorite from Almay.
I have two colors,
but I believe they come in like four different shades.
I have nearly nude and pink flush
and I do still reach for these pretty often.
In a lot of ways,
they actually remind me of the new Fenty blushes
that came out recently
because those also go from a powder
almost like into a cream on your cheeks
because they're just so smooth.
And those also have zero kickup.
They kind of have a similar feel and vibe.
So anyway, I know most people
just kind of walk past the Almay display
when you're at the drugstore,
but trust me on this one,
try one of these blushes next time.
I think you'll be as blown away as I am.
They're incredible.
All right, so the next three brands
I actually did not include in my last video three years ago.
So I don't have a comparison,
but I still wanna tell you
what my favorite product is from them right now.
So the first brand is Hard Candy.
And Hard Candy, again,
it's a very hit or miss brand for me.
I've tried some pretty terrible products from them
and then sometimes they completely surprise me
and they come out with something amazing.
And they're also one of the more affordable brands
at the drugstore
that's really kept their prices down over the years.
So right now, my number one from them,
it's probably not gonna surprise you
because I've talked about it recently,
are the Face Off Blurring Blushes.
Blurring blushes right now,
especially the blurring liquid ones
are having such a huge moment.
We have ones from Huda Beauty.
We have the Cali Ray.
YSL has one.
And these are, I wanna say like $7.
Really affordable.
And they have that same blurring
kind of airbrushed effect on your cheeks.
They only come in three shades, unfortunately.
They do have other liquid blushes
that it's in kind of the same packaging,
but those are the glowy version
and the tubes are like a little more shiny.
So the matte ones have a matte finish on the packaging.
And like I said, I think there's only three shades.
My favorite shade, again, is a purple one.
This is called Girl Crush.
And it's so beautiful.
I feel like it would go really well with this sweater,
which by the way,
I wanna mention this sweater really quickly
because I know that off-the-shoulder tops
are really popular again.
All of a sudden, I've been seeing them everywhere.
And it reminded me to go and dig this out.
I got this at Primark years ago.
It was probably like a $10 sweater.
I still have it.
And as I was putting it on to wear it for the video today,
I remembered all of a sudden
that I wore this in the very first video
I ever filmed for this channel.
My very, like the very first one.
So that was seven years ago and I still love the sweater.
So I just looked up the date of that video
and it was October 4th of 2017.
So I just had my YouTube anniversary last week.
It just kind of passed by and I didn't even realize it.
So anyway, I just thought that was funny.
All right, next up we have L.A. Girl.
They also have some really nice products.
I've been a little bit disappointed
with some of their more recent releases,
especially when it comes to eyeshadow
because they used to have the best eyeshadow formula.
So I would say if I had to pick a favorite,
it would be this eyeshadow palette from years ago.
So this is called the Keep It Playful eyeshadow palette
in Downplay.
So really beautiful kind of cooler tone vibes,
but there's also a couple of warm shades in here.
It's just a great neutral palette.
But what I love about it is again,
these shades are so metallic and foiled.
They have a really beautiful creamy feel,
like a really high-end sort of palette feel
at an incredibly affordable price.
So I keep hoping that they'll go back to this formula.
It was one of my favorites,
but thankfully you can still get these palettes
and I highly recommend them.
Like I said, one of the best formulas
at the drugstore right now.
Okay, so next we have Morphe.
This is a brand I actually haven't tried
a lot of things from.
I used to use their eyeshadow palettes,
but I kind of gave up on those
because they faded really quickly throughout the day.
They weren't the most long lasting,
but every once in a while,
they do have a product that I really enjoy.
And my favorite from them right now
are the Huforic Rush Cream Blushes.
So this is the shade Energized.
Again, it's a beautiful pinky purple shade
that really looks nice and cool toned on my skin tone.
And this formula is really nice.
It has a primer mixed into it.
So when it goes on your cheeks,
it just looks super smooth.
And also I find these to be really blendable
and easy to use as well.
So next time you're at Ulta,
if you like cream blushes,
I definitely would recommend checking out this formula.
It surprised me at how great it is.
So I think that covers every drugstore brand.
Hopefully I didn't miss one.
And if you're curious as to what my number one product is
for every high-end brand at Sephora,
I did do a video on that as well.
It's like over two hours long though.
So if you're gonna watch that,
you know, make sure to get comfortable, get a snack.
It's a long one, but definitely worth checking out.
So anyway, guys, thank you so much
for taking time out of your day to watch this.
I truly appreciate it.
And I hope you have a great rest of your day
and I'll see you all in my next one.
Take care, guys.
Bye.
