LEISURE TRAVEL VAN | 2024 Unity Twin Bed | OUR FIRST ROAD TRIP (3,500 miles) | Season 1 | Ep. 2

Okay so we got our first night here in the coach and it was raining hard last night. Yeah it was. I didn't really feel you know but we slept good but we're tired. So what do you think so far of the bed? It's not bad. Pretty comfy actually. Yeah we had the bed laid out as king size and it's pretty big actually. Yeah we easily could put another two people. Yeah oh yeah. Easily. Good morning. Yeah it's seven o'clock. There's several campers here but not a lot because it's in the 30s or 40s right now. We're here at KOA Route 66 in St. Louis in Surrey Park for the night and there's some several water homes here and there's a graveyard. This is day one with our van. Well day one and a half. Not quite yet because we got it at one o'clock. Good morning. We just dropped off the rental van so this will be our first full day traveling with it. We did spend last night in it. Everything worked great. It was nice and toasty warm when we had it set at 70. I think it got down to the low 40s but the furnace didn't run all night so we're headed to Oklahoma City. We're going straight all the way to Vegas. That's our final destination. Yeah. Oh look at her. She's already sleeping. She just woke up. Look at that. There's the bucket truck. Lunch. Sliced brisket, beaver chips. And then Chantel. Oh yeah we have the same pulled pork barbecue sandwich. Yummy. Strawberry and huckleberry. We went four travel days with no ice cream. We had to get ice cream. Oh come on we had ice cream. It's a huckleberry. Okay so here we are standing on the corner in Winslow, Arizona. Route 66 right there. Flagstaff, Arizona. Everything for the night here in the wilderness. We're having our dinner and look what we got. I got, I have an Oreo cheesecake. I've got a garlic bacon cheeseburger and a banana shake with tots. Gotta have the tater tots. My goodness a solo adventurer.
