Hello everybody, this is Julian Magic Tutorials!
And we're about to do a really cool trick together with my son's bib.
All of them and this one.
So what are we going to do, Jack?
So, watch here.
Do you know what this is?
This is a toothpick.
So you actually take this toothpick and you're going to cover it up with a cloth, a napkin, anything.
So you cover it up like this.
You take that toothpick.
And can you put it in my hand, Jack?
Can you put it here?
Yeah!
Okay, so you put the toothpick in your hand like this.
And then you cover it with a cloth or a bib.
Like this.
And when you've done that, you've got to put it up like this.
So you can feel the tension of that toothpick.
And what do you do then?
Can you feel it?
Now we're going to break it so you can hear it.
Okay?
Now the toothpick is broken.
You open it and you snap.
Open it.
And look.
The toothpick is...
It's not broken!
Watch.
So how did we do that?
And there's only one toothpick.
Okay, do you want to know the secret?
Well, if you want to know the secret,
you have to put a like
down there.
Okay, for the secret
of this trick,
this is what you need.
You need one cloth or a napkin
or any kind of
tissue
with a seam like this.
So what you do in advance
is actually that you have
an extra toothpick.
And that toothpick,
you put it in
inside of the seam.
Can you see that?
So I'm just pushing it in
so it follows the seam
and it's hidden inside.
And nobody will
actually see that there is
a toothpick if you don't let them
touch it before.
Or you can just hold
the match where the match is
and you can give it out for examination.
Just feel this is normal silk
or whatever.
And when you've done that,
you actually
you take that toothpick,
you hold it by your hand.
When you're covering it,
you make sure that you fold
the other toothpick
so it gets into the middle.
So the one they're touching
is the one inside
of the seam.
And now you let them break it
because it's quite nice when you let them
break it themselves.
So you can hear the break.
Oh, it's broken.
They can really feel it's broken.
Now if you
open this silk,
look.
It's totally undamaged
and it's whole.
So thank you so much for watching this video
