Simple Half Up Half Down HairStyle Tutorial 2023!

So I'm back with Bailey. We're going to show you this half-up style that we saw on Instagram. I'll tag the account. Super cute. I thought it's definitely going to suit Baileys. Really, really easy. Let's get going. Right, Baileys, if you can just cover your hearing aids, babes. I'm just going to use a little bit of wax spray just to help tame any sort of flyaways. I don't want too much product. Sorry, Baileys. Is that in the face nearly? And I'll do the same on the other side. So what you're going to want to do is part the hair in a central part. And then I'm just using my brush to smooth this hair down. And we're going to do a little half-up ponytail. So I've just got a little bit of smoothing cream on my fingers. I just really want to make sure that this hair is really, really smoothed back. Then I'm going to come behind the ear and just lift up with my comb like that. Maybe a little bit less than that. We'll do the same on the other side. Again, on this side, splitting that hair. I'm just working that product in. Bailey's holding the other side for me because I was too lazy to deliver it. The other side back of Bailey now. And we're just going to work it all together so it's nice and tight. But we want to keep the central part. I'll just bring her back to the front. So I just want you to just take your time now. I'm trying to keep that central part, keep these bits this way. And then I want you to really snatch these side sections using whatever product you like to use. It could be a gel, a wax, whatever you like to use. So next I'm just going to place this hair into a ponytail, trying to make sure that I don't mess anything up as I do it. So you will need one of these little claw grips. So I've chosen like a sort of medium size one. So I'm just going to release this hair slightly just to give myself a little bit of room. I'm going to make a hole in the back of the head and then this ponytail is going to come through. And then I'm just going to tighten. And then we're going to lift up and then the claw grip is going to come either side like that. And then that's going to rest over. Now this bit's optional because I know you hate me doing this. You say I'm going to wreck Bailey's hair but trust me she only has it done like once every like month. And her hair is so strong. As long as you're gentle as you're doing it. So I'm just taking a little layer, lifting it up, spraying and then just pushing down with my comb just a few times, just one way, just down. So as you can see you've got the gorgeous snatched sides, you've got a little cascading ponytail giving lots and lots of volume and this one looks super super cute Bailey.
