ITALY TRAVEL VLOG 🇮🇹🤍 Our Honeymoon! Lake Como, Portofino, Tuscany, Florence, & Milan!

It's such a beautiful day. I'm so excited. I ordered a little cappuccino to go with it. Ready? Stopper went first for breakfast. What'd you get? Listen, I'm going hard here. I told you I was going to be getting everything out of this place. I got cheese, mozzarella, some donut thing. What's this one? It's some sort of donut thing. You got like a straight up height though. Yeah, they said it's like from some beehive somewhere. Some bougie beehive. This is the view from our hotel. It is so stunning. It really looks like a fairy tale or like something out of a movie. I feel like pictures and videos just don't do it justice. Like in person, it's just so vibrant and beautiful. Just got onto the boat. They picked us up from our hotel. It's kind of rocking a lot. I don't know how I feel about that. If you want to sit over there in front, it's the best place to enjoy. Let's go. Have you been to Portofino? No, we're going. Okay, now take a picture of Varenna and then one in Portofino because Varenna, I call it the Lake Como Portofino. Oh really? Okay. So stunning. We got all dressed up for dinner tonight. I'm wearing this beautiful pink dress. It's from Solace London. I've been so excited to wear this the entire trip. It is a full maxi dress and it has really pretty sleeves. I feel like it's just perfect for this restaurant and perfect for our date night. I just can't get over this gorgeous view. So all that dinner was absolutely breathtaking and stunning. It was not good food. Like we just did not like the food. So we ended up just finishing the two meals that we got. And then I went home to the hotel to change my clothes. So I'm back in the same linens outfit. So much more comfortable than the dress. And now we're walking up these steps to go get our second dinner at somewhere that's actually good food. I did not realize how hilly Lake Como is. Like I knew Istanbul was hilly. This is another level. We're just hiking up to dinner. I could not have done this in that pink dress. We came back to the restaurant that we ate at the first night we were here. It's called Antico Pozo in Bellagio. It's so cute and the food is delicious. The first night we came here we got the spaghetti pomodoro. Which is just the tomato sauce and basil like classic pasta. It was so good. And then we got the penne arrabiata. Which was like a spicy garlicky penne pasta. And it was so delicious. And honestly like that was the best first meal we could have asked for. And it was so good that we decided to come back for another meal tonight before we leave. Because we leave Lake Como in the morning. We're heading to Portofino. We also got the caprese. And it was so good. So I think I'm going to order that. I'm really surprised how fast I was. I'm not as hungry since we just ate like an hour and a half ago. But I love the vibes here. It's super nice. There's like a ton of like little tables. And we're outside in this little patio area. Kind of nestled in between some apartments. It's really beautiful and the food is so good too. I should definitely come here if you're ever in Bellagio. We just checked into our hotel. We are staying at Villa Gelsomino in Portofino. And we are freaking out. This is the view from the balcony in our very own room. I cannot get over it. Look at this stunning view. We're overlooking the entire town of Santa Margarita. Which is about like a 20 minute drive from Portofino. And I believe we're here for two nights. And I just cannot get over it. I cannot believe that we're staying here. We're just in awe. I love, love, love the vibe of the city already. I love how all the buildings are super colorful. Our villa is like red and green. And this actually only became a hotel in 2020. There's only six rooms on this property. Weather is perfect. There's a slight breeze. And just look how clear the water is. I think we're gonna go for a little swim. Grab some lunch and just get straight into the water. Because it looks so, so amazing. Let me give you guys a little room tour. This is the bed. Looks so comfortable. And we have this gorgeous vintage wooden dresser. We have another huge window right here. With these beautiful orange drapes. And then this window opens all the way too. Cute little lampshade. A tiny couch area. We just brought our luggages upstairs. A very, very cute little coffee station. I love these little coffee cups. They're so cute and dainty. And the floors are this super cool print. And the ceiling is so stunning. This is all hand-painted. Different floral designs all across the ceiling. An adorable little chandelier. What do you think? Crazy. Feels like we're at Disneyland. Like somewhere out of your dream. It's like a fairy tale. Yeah, legit. It's so stunning. Feels like out of a Disney movie from the 50s. Oh my gosh, yeah. That's a good way of putting it. It does feel very 50s. We just sat down for breakfast. And everything looks incredible. Sitting with the most stunning view of Santa Margarita. The weather is absolutely perfect. And everything looks so, so amazing. These almond croissants look delicious. And I love their little plates. What is this one that you got? Homemade cake. That looks really good, especially with a little coffee. We have almonds, goji berries, fresh fruit. This is some chia pudding. And then this looks like focaccia. And we just ordered some drinks as well. And we're just enjoying our meal. You're ready to get started. We made it to Portofino, finally. Just sat down for lunch at this restaurant called... I know I definitely butchered that. We were just walking and popping into some stores. But honestly, we got really hungry. So, let's just have a quick bite to eat. And then we'll do the exploring. The weather is nice. It's a little bit cloudy today, which is kind of a bummer. But honestly, it gets really hot though when the sun is beating down on you. So, it's a blessing. I love the dress that I'm wearing today. I hope I get some cute photos in it. Because it's by the brand Chats by Sudan. The same brand that I wore for my Breton shower. And I love it. I love the vibes here. It's definitely very small. I thought this would be a lot bigger than it really is. It's not a huge area of Italy at all. But the beaches look so beautiful. This little town is so cute and quaint. And the water just looks so pretty. That's our update. Just sitting and waiting for my pasta. Off to our next destination. We made it to our hotel in Tuscany. I'm going to give you guys a room tour. Because it's one of the cutest hotel rooms I've ever seen in my life. So quaint and cozy. Can we just talk about how cute this little green and blue floral headboard is? I just love it so much. And we have this super cute little green couch. Right at the edge of the bed. We walk over here. And we have our first window. Overlooking the rest of the property. We also get a nice view of the rest of Tuscany. Which is absolutely stunning. And then to this way is the restaurant of the hotel. Where we'll be having breakfast. And we have dinner reservations tonight at 8 o'clock. Little side table. They left us a cute little note. It's just a happy honeymoon. We have all of our luggages to this corner here. But we have a nice little seating area. Two more green chairs. And then the second window to the room. Over here is like a little mini bar. How cute are these cups? We walk into the gorgeous bathroom. This bathroom is honestly huge. So spacious. I love the wooden beams on the ceiling. I love wooden beams in homes. I just feel like it makes the space so cozy. We have a nice big shower. Little tub. Which is so cute. And a third window. Just absolutely stunning. This is the rest of the bathroom. And that's the full room tour. It is so cute. We are here for three full days. We are so excited to just like rest. Good morning guys. It is Wednesday night. We are getting ready to head out to dinner in Florence. Florence is about a 40 minute drive from the estate that we're staying at. And we're really excited to just drive into the city for the evening. And have a lovely dinner there. And just kind of walk around. We didn't want to go during the day. Because we just figured it would be really crowded with like tourists. And it would be hot. And we just have been wanting to chill in Tuscany. So we've been really enjoying our time here. We spent pretty much all of today by the pool relaxing. I didn't swim, but Strava swam. I was just like chilling, reading a book. I definitely got a little bit sunburnt. Like my arms are super tan. And I feel like my nose got a little bit burnt. But it was honestly a super relaxing day. And I came upstairs, took a nice shower. And really took my time getting ready and doing my makeup. I feel like it turned out really, really well tonight. And I did my hair in like a slick back bun. And I'm actually wearing my wedding earrings. And I've been wearing my wedding perfume this entire trip. Just like for the spirit of the honeymoon. And we're going out to a nice like fancy dinner tonight. I'm not exactly sure which restaurant we're going to yet. But we did get like dolled up and stuff. And I'm wearing a really beautiful dress. I can't wait to show you guys. It's from the brand Chats by Sedam. If you guys watched my Turkey wedding vlog. I wore a dress from them for the day that I went into the bridal studio in Istanbul. And I shot my second wedding dress. And I love them so much. They make such beautiful, elegant, modest dresses. I've been saving this dress for Florence. Because I feel like it'll just be perfect for tonight. I'm about to get dressed. But I just wanted to check in with you guys. Our room is so cute. It definitely got a little bit messy since we've been here. But we've just been having a great time. I feel like I haven't been vlogging very much. And honestly, I'm not like putting pressure on myself to vlog. I'm just trying to vlog here and there when I can for the memories. And just so I can bring you guys along for somewhat of the process. And also for myself to look back on. But I'm really not trying to stress myself out with making sure I get enough content for the vlog. I just want to pop in and say hello and share some moments from our trip. And I hope that that's okay with you guys. But yeah, let's get dressed for dinner now. Here is the final look. This is the dress on. It is so beautiful. I just need to prop my phone up so you guys can see the full look. It's literally stunning. I love these details on the sides. I forgot what these are called. They have a name though. But it's such a beautiful dress. I feel like it's so unique. It's so simple and classic. And I think it looks really good with the slick back bun and my wedding earrings. So I'm all ready for dinner. My stuff is waiting for me downstairs. So let's go to Florence. It was a little bit cloudy when we arrived yesterday. And I was vlogging for you guys. So I thought I would just show y'all truly how beautiful this property is. When the sun is out and when the sun is setting. It's breathtaking. It is absolutely beautiful. Literally looks like a castle. And it's such a huge estate. Just look how beautiful and green everything is. It's just so stunning. And there's these lavender plants all across the property. The hills are alive. Look at this view. It is literally unreal. Truly. I feel like the camera doesn't even do it justice. We are ready for dinner. We rented a car to get from Santa Margherita to Tuscany. Which is how we're able to drive. And honestly, I can't lie. It's pretty nice. It's really nice having your own vehicle. And you don't have to take public transportation. And I can't believe we're just driving to Florence for dinner. Very casual. I know. Let me just pop in. We made it to Florence. It honestly only took 25-30 minutes. It was a lot closer than we thought. And right now we're just looking for some parking. And then we found a really yummy restaurant for tonight. I'm so excited. Apparently they have this amazing mushroomy truffle pasta. Which sounds so good. We haven't really been having a ton of variety in our foods. I feel like when you eat halal, the options in Italy are a little bit limited. But we're really excited. The good thing about coming to Florence or being close enough to Florence from where we're staying. Is that we have access to so many better restaurants. Guys, look what we just saw on our walk to dinner. This is the best tiramisu I've ever had. It's literally stunning. But it also tastes so bomb. It was honestly super good. Our pizzas were so good. My truffle pasta was amazing. But that tiramisu at the end. Literally the best nightcap ever. And I'm glad we came to Florence for a night. It's just cute to walk around a little bit and see the city. And then it's nice to just go back home to our nice little resort. Tucked away from all the noise of the city. Hello you guys. It is Thursday. Today is our last day in Tuscany. We head to Milan very early tomorrow morning. I think we leave around 7 in the morning. We spent all day by the pool. We went to a horse ranch a little bit earlier in the day. And we had originally planned for both of us to do horseback riding. The hotel that we're staying at organizes it because there's a ranch super close by to the estate. And we both got on the horses. And I love horses. I've loved horses my entire childhood. They're probably one of my favorite animals. But riding them, I'm not the most comfortable with it. And I ended up getting too scared to ride. I got off and did the trail by himself. Just because the estate that we're on is on the top of a hill. And they were saying that the horses have to go up and down the hills. And it was just kind of a rocky terrain. And I was like, okay, I am too scared for this. I wasn't really enjoying it. So I stayed back while he did the ride. And he absolutely loved it. He said it was an amazing experience. So after that, we just went by the pool. Just hung out. Basically all we've been doing at these estates. It's just so nice to be able to just relax by the pool and order drinks and snacks and stuff. And we got back to the room maybe 20 or 30 minutes ago. I've just been chilling. And we're going to have dinner at the hotel again tonight. Last night we went to Florence for dinner. It was really nice. But I think we're just going to take it easy tonight. Because we are leaving super early in the morning. We're going to do drinks in the really pretty terrace area. Maybe take some nice photos. And then have dinner at the hotel. And then we are in Milan from Friday through Sunday. And then Monday morning is our very early flight. Back to Los Angeles. We fly from Milan to Istanbul. Layover in Istanbul. And then Istanbul to Los Angeles. Kind of crazy to think that we will be going home after like three weeks of traveling. Like it feels like a long time. But it also feels like it went by so fast. And I don't know. It's so bittersweet. Because it's just been such a special trip. And like you don't want it to end obviously. But then there's so much to look forward to inshallah when we go home. Like we get to find a place together. I'm not going to lie. That's definitely stressing me out a little bit in this current moment. But Mustafa has been trying to like reframe my thinking on it. To not be like stressed. And just know like everything is going to work out as God wills it to be. And it's like an exciting thing. Like I get to like find a new place to live. I don't have to find a place. You know it's like I get to find a new place. Just like having time for myself again. And for just like relaxing. I feel like the stress of the wedding is finally over. And it's kind of hard to believe. But weddings really do take up your whole life. And they're just very, very stressful. Very, very expensive. And I am excited. And I feel ready for a new chapter. My YouTube vlogs are just like a little video diary of like how I'm feeling. And what the vibes are. And I feel like I can connect with you guys so much more than on Instagram and TikTok. I've told myself before when on this trip I wanted to be as like present as I could in the moment. And then just vlog when I had time. And then when I vlog like just kind of fill you guys in and share like how I'm genuinely feeling in the moment. And right now I'm feeling very blessed. Very grateful. Very bittersweet that the honeymoon is almost at a close. I mean we still have like three days in Milan. But it's almost at a close. And I'm sad to leave this beautiful, beautiful hotel. Tuscany has been such a dream. I would highly recommend this estate if you and your fiance or husband are like coming to Tuscany for your honeymoon. I've had an amazing experience. We are in May. This is our first like full day here. And it's also potentially our like last day of the honeymoon. We're trying to see if we can change our flight to be one day earlier. Just because we didn't realize that Milan in August is literally a ghost town. Like there's no one here. The entire city goes on like their Italian summer holiday. Which we were only planning to stay in Milan for a couple days anyways. Because that's where our next flight is out of. But we didn't realize that there would be like literally no one here. So we're just trying to figure it out. And we came to this coffee shop that I am obsessed with. This is like the best coffee I think I've had in like all of Italy. I have not been wowed by a lot of the coffee here. Especially like iced coffee because I feel like that's like more of an American thing. But this coffee shop, guys, if you're ever in Milan you have to come here. It's so good. They're iced oat milk latte. And it is so delicious. Like it's also better than like most of the coffee that I feel like I get in America. It's just so good. So good. So we're just chilling here and we had pizza earlier. A little lunch. And then I think we're going to go to the Duomo gallery and do some shopping. And just like check it out. And then our Airbnb is honestly like really nice too. So we might just like go back home and chill there.
