Life in my 40s: 2hr morning routine that changed my life | productive work days in my life & a haul

I love to get up earlier, even if I'm tired, I like to get up earlier and just take things slowly. I'm able to do things for myself. I'm a very introverted person, but I am around people all the time. For me, it's like recharging my batteries, like I need to have that me time in order to give to other people. I always take time for myself in the morning, so I have more than enough time to do the things that I want to do. I am going to get started on my makeup routine right now. If you guys are curious about all the makeup products that I use and some of the techniques that I use, go check out my last video if you haven't already, but only after this one. Waking with a note. How could a poem hold the way I see your soul? All the color, the feeling, all the what being. A slip into a cold. It's time to go to work, but I just wanted to do a quick outfit check. This is what I'm wearing today. Zara. Joe Fresh. Zara jeans. Keds shoes. MS Blue ring. And these cool new earrings that I got from Amazon. So, that's it guys. I gotta go to work. I will see you guys there. And I thought I would do a little Zara haul. The weather is starting to get cooler. I just wanted to get a few pieces to add to my fall wardrobe. So, I picked up three things. Let me show you guys what I got. So, the first thing that I got was a new pair of jeans. And I have to tell you guys, I am so into wide leg jeans. You guys have seen my black jeans. I wear them all the time. I am obsessed with this look. So, I picked up a pair of blue jeans. I buy my jeans in a size larger than what I am. I'm a size four. These are a size six. And what I do is I go to the tailor and I have him tailor the waist. When you cinch the waist just where you need it, yeah, it looks so good. When you have your clothes tailored specifically to your body, it just looks so much better. So, that's what I intend to do with these jeans. The only thing about tailoring your clothes is that it's quite expensive. But again, you're getting something that fits your body just as it should. So, for example, the black jeans that I'm wearing today, I had them tailored. And just to give you some context, my Zara jeans cost $65 and the tailoring cost $60. So, it was almost equivalent to the price of the jeans. But I still think that you're getting something that's like custom to your body and it will look so good. Two other things that I got are two pairs of shoes. As you guys know, if you've been following me for a while now, is that I do commute every single day to work and home. So, I am walking a lot. I've been wearing mostly running shoes and I'm sick of it. You know, I love my white Keds. They're so comfy and they go with a lot of the outfits that I wear on a daily basis. But I want to like zhuzh up my footwear. Like I want to wear something different. So, let me show you the first pair that I got. These leopard print ballet flats. I mean, leopard is huge for this season. It's back. I don't think it's ever gone away, but it's back with a vengeance. Leopard is such a good color because it goes with almost everything. I think it would look really nice with an all-neutral outfit and just like a pop of leopard. I also love ballet flats with a pointy toe. Because if you're a short gal like myself, then it elongates your body. I know it goes in and out of style, but I don't follow those rules. I go with what looks good on me. And if you're short like I am, that will automatically make you look taller. And again, this is something that I could wear on a daily basis. I could dress it up. I could dress it down. Even with what I'm wearing today, it would look so chic. So, I'm excited about these. I'm excited to incorporate them into my wardrobe. And now for the last item that I picked up at Zara. Let me show you before I explain. This is the second pair that I picked up for myself. I am not really a loafer type of gal. It's not really my style. I never really picked up on that trend. Although, super cute. I just, I always felt like it wasn't me. For some reason, I feel like very attracted to these shoes. I debated whether to get them in the patent leather or not. I think it adds, like, more of an interest to this shoe. I think that I could have fun with these. And I think that I could incorporate them into my wardrobe in different ways. Like, I gotta play around with these. Because, like I said, I've never really worn loafers in the past. But I'm excited about them. I feel like these could be a good, you know, fall transition shoe. I'm gonna have to do a little research. I'm gonna have to go onto Pinterest a little bit. And see how I could style these. So, these are the three items that I picked up at Zara. I did see a few other things online that piqued my interest. But I haven't ordered them yet. I hope you guys enjoyed this little Zara haul that I have for you guys. I'm gonna go make dinner now. And I will see you guys a little bit later. Good morning, guys. It's a new day today. I'm actually taking the day off of work tomorrow. Shocker. Because I have something pretty exciting going on. It'll be featured in the next vlog. I am taking the day off. So, today is gonna be a really busy day. Because since I'm taking the day off tomorrow, I wanna make sure that everything is running smoothly the following day. I gotta work a lot with my team today. So, it's going to be a jam-packed day. I'm just getting ready to leave. Looks like it's going to rain today. Which is not great. Which is why I'm gonna show you guys my outfit for the day inside my house. As you can see, I'm wearing this cute little knit top from Zara. It's really old. It's a great color. I love, like, the small cable knit. Vintage earrings. My jeans. Also from Zara. This jacket from a local store here in Montreal called 1864. They have really cute stuff. And they also have a website if you wanna check them out. So, I'm gonna put this on, pack my bag, and get going. So, I will see you guys at the office. Let's go. So, I just picked up Mandy's. And I'm just on my way home now. Okay. Good boy. Sit. Wait. Sit.
