Unveiling the New Continental GT with Bentley’s Design Director, Robin Page

Having been the designer for the interior of the first and second Continental GT, it's a great honour as Head of Design to be here to present the new fourth generation GT. When we are designing a new Bentley we always start with our design principles and these are the elements that make a car a Bentley and are unique to our brand. Our first principle is that every Bentley has a stance of a resting beast. Secondly is the upright elegance and thirdly a Bentley always has exceptional performance, a large powerful powertrain and that is indicated by the endless bonnet line. The new GT has a more modern design using single oval lamps intersecting by a striking eyebrow feature giving the face of the car a focused expression. For the interior we've introduced a black chrome effect which is applied to all the elements. It gives it a really moody and modern feel to the cabin and these are the elements that make a car a Bentley and are unique to our brand.
