Alex Morgan Retirement

First of all, congratulations on a remarkable career. You answered with the fact that you have to be disconnected from your emotions as an athlete and having to be a lead. And sometimes you go weeks without smiling and don't even realize it. I felt that so much. I said, wow, yeah, we've seen that from Alex. The fact that she takes everything so seriously, her competitiveness is there, and that the only time you get to be you is when you win. You've won. You've won everything on and off the pitch. Do you feel that? Do you feel the lightness, the weight lifted off of you, kind of reflecting that you absolutely did win? Yeah, don't make me cry right now. Yeah, I feel. It was gonna happen at some point, Alex. Yeah, it's what? It's what's gonna happen. Yeah, I've been smiling a lot these last few days because even just keeping in the retirement and the pregnancy for so long was just really difficult not to share with people. And everything's so much better together. The reason I am where I am today and who I am is because of so many people that just impacted me for the better. I did nothing alone, and so the last weeks previously was really difficult. And so I've just been smiling a lot knowing that there were so many incredibly good moments, but also so many lows and valleys along the way that I had to dig myself through. And so getting to this point now, just talking about being a human and being vulnerable to everyone and just smiling and enjoying the moment.
