🚨 Supporters' Shield CLINCHED 🚨 Inter Miami vs. Columbus Crew | MLS Highlights | ESPN FC

And it is underway in London, Ohio. The Columbus crew hosting Inter-Miami. Because the longer the game goes, Busquets is going to have to sit. He's going to have to chase the game. He's going to have to keep an eye. Does he come off his line like this? Rossetti! Callender makes the save. The moment of half danger. Jordi Alba direct. He's looking for Messi who settles. Messi trying to cut inside. Still there! It's direct to the great one. Messi has put Inter-Miami one step closer to the supporter shield and to the 46th trophy in his career. And he pulls off. But now Amundsen drops. That keeps Lionel Messi onside. Little deflections in the right spot. But then in the critical moment, who has the composure? Not Amundsen. Not Camacho. Lionel Messi. Completely against the run of play. Inter-Miami. Lionel Messi. 1-0 in the 45th minute here in Columbus. The big issue here is the wall set up right. Messi! Force! Schulte stunned! Messi magic! And in the blink of an eye, Lionel Messi has turned this game on its head. You have to be perfect. The details setting up the wall. Is it wide enough? Is there tall enough players to make him uncomfortable? And the answer every single time is no, sir. Lionel Messi. Inter-Miami leading the Columbus crew 2-0. Lionel Messi, a brace in the final minutes of the first half to give Inter-Miami a 2-0 lead and put them just 45 minutes away. From a supporter's shield. This is a good chance. Oh! This year, the crew have gone down 2-0 to Miami. They're used to being in this situation. Great little flick on here from Kuchov, but it is Farsi. It is Rossi just going right down for the ball that popped down perfect. Give Rossi a ton of credit. Calm and composed. My word. 2-1, 20 seconds into this second half. Schulte to deal with. Camacho's running. You've got to be screaming off your... You've got to be... This cannot happen. That's inexcusable. At this level, this cannot happen. But good on Luis Suarez, staying alive. But you cannot gift Lionel Messi on the free kick, not having the wall wide enough for the goal, and then this one to Luis Suarez for his 18th of the year. They're continuing to check this, and now it's confirmed. So, here we go. Kuchov. Scores! Returns. Massive matchup. Hits the right hand of Noah Allen. And here we go, 3-2. They have won the team with the Supporter Shield winner.
