Look at the gecko right there. It's a frog. Nah, it is a frog. Gecko. Well, that's pretty cool.
Frog's ready to go for a ride.
Morning James. Morning sir. How are you? Good, you? Are you hiding under your hat? I am.
My hair's messed up. So you got your Vineyard Vines hat on. I do. I love my Vineyard Vines hat.
Those Murray brothers are big Jeep fans and good customers of ours, actually. Anyway,
to Jeep fans and Jeep customers out there, we asked a couple weeks ago for some leads on Jeeps.
We needed some CJs. Got some fantastic leads. So we're going to spend the day today going to
LaGrange, Texas, then Cleveland, Texas. It's only about 600 something miles of diesel therapy.
And then Zach and I are going to jump on an airplane and go to Boise, Idaho and rescue another
one. Wow. Why are we pushing these all together so hard? They're all three 1979 Golden Eagles,
and they're all three very different. And we're going to show you one that we haven't
shown on the show before. So grab your cup of joe and let's go do some Golden Eagles.
Well, we're in LaGrange, Texas. Right, Rodney? That's it. Is this the same LaGrange as ZZ Top?
Best little warehouse in Texas. Uh oh. He said it, I didn't. Rodney Conya, how you doing? Nice
to meet you. Nice to meet you. James. James. Zach on the camera. So your last name is Conya? Conya,
yes sir. Where are you from? I'm from here. How about the family? My family, my dad was born and
raised here in LaGrange. Okay. And I was born and raised right here on this little ranch. Been here
all my life. Doesn't look little to me. Yeah, we've got a hundred acres here. We're good.
Hundred acres. A little bit. So what's the story on the Jeep? The Jeep is the one owner. Came out
of Texas. Been here all of its life. Okay. And I acquired it from the, I guess the son-in-law. I
guess he married the, he was a third generation sniper. Wow. How cool is that? Yeah, that was
real cool. And I was like, man, this guy, he come out and he said, here, meet my son. I was like,
hey son, I forget his name. And he said, he's fourth generation sniper. Like, wow. Looks like
a good area to practice right now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've hit a couple of hogs that far, but
he said, you know that, that little pop shot we had on our former president,
I got a six-year-old boy in the house that could have done that shot. I'm glad he didn't. No kidding.
Wow. A little, he said he had a six-year-old son that could have made that shot. Are there any,
are there any other CJ's in LaGrange? Oh yeah. There's tons. There's tons of CJ's around.
Yeah. He, he, uh, he said it was in the barn for 20 years. Okay. I guess it was originated in,
on, I guess, uh, around, uh, what's that little place, Port O'Connor area down there.
He said he, he bought it brand new and the title said he had it paid off in 1983.
How cool is that? So I'm sorry. I should not did the title, but no worries. I was wanting
to rebuild it myself, but like, man, that thing needs somebody to pretty good at it. I bet. I know
here. Hold on. Hold on. Don't, don't let me let you, let you Fred. Look at here. I got something
for you. There you go. The original stick. There you go. You know more how to operate than I do.
Go in here. Come on. You can't, but no, that's not where it goes. Where does it go?
It goes right there. And then that goes right here. There you go.
Watch it. I don't think it's in there. That's all right.
We're saying to have it fall down and hit James in the head. Wow. So without looking at the Jeep
at all, it's got a very high option, power steering, power brakes, cruise control, smog,
still here. AC 79 304. And I bet it's nine K so nine K sable brown metallic. And obviously this
is a gold needle because of the paint. I mean, it's messed with it, but you do need to have the
six CK code six, Charlie, Kevin, that's for the tan Levi's bucket seats, which they're still here.
Thank goodness. Of course, all the gold legos had attack on the clock.
This particular one automatically tilt. Yeah. And the doors are off a later model Jeep.
Yes. They're off of this label right here. It indicates, I think, an 80,
eight, 87. Yeah. They're watching doors. You can tell by door panels or an 88. It's okay. Those
will go on something else. You have the serial number on there, but it is a hard top, hard door
Jeeps. There's no snaps. 1988. Oh, two 10 88. So yeah. So I asked the guy when I, when I was
Hey, what's the deal with the two mirrors? I was like, he goes, well, when you take the doors off,
you got these and you know, I don't have the knowledge, you know? And so I kind of was
questioning that. I was like, that doesn't sound right to me. Yeah. So these are YJ doors and
that's a sport mirror. Right. Original wheels, which is great. Right. And this is very nice.
So this was a quarter track Jeep, which means it was full-time four-wheel drive. A lot of,
some people don't like that. Yeah. This way you can disengage the hubs.
Very nice. Let me show you the nicest part of it. Okay.
See if she does what I like her to do.
I knew it. I knew it. And that is what we call stage fright.
You know, I'm happy. It turns over. No, you should hear this thing run. Well,
get the jump box, get the jump box. It'll run. That will be outstanding. Runs like a top,
make it easier to get on the trailer. It runs like a top. And I knew I should have put it
on battery tender, but I didn't do it. God dog it. All the main key parts are here. Very cool.
There's little draw bars back here. The top is original supposedly. And check it out. Only one.
That's a fun one to fix, but we can do it. Yeah. Yeah. You can tell it's a golden Eagle top
because the window tint's gold, which is really nice. Especially the back one is gold. Awesome.
You ready? I'm ready. Let her rip tater chip. It should fire up, man. I don't know why.
I should have started up. Come on, baby. Just thinking about it.
This made your job easier, James. Actually, I was not expecting this Jeep to run.
Nice.
No, I wouldn't doubt it. It sounds like a solar machine.
Dealership of solar around the port. The important thing is it's very highly optioned.
H code, V8, power steering, power brakes, AC, cruise control, automatic, tilt, golden Eagle.
That's a lot of stuff.
Not even smoking. No, it doesn't smoke. I had it before I bought it from the guy.
I said, hey, make sure I want to look back here when you're cranking it.
It does not smoke. Put a new carburetor kit on it. I think you got a new tank.
What else do you have? He's got a new radiator, new hoses, new carburetor kit.
Let's see. Brand new tires. You're getting a heck of a golden Eagle here, my friend.
I guess. I guess I'm just going to have to pay you what you're asking for, right?
Yeah. Deal. Thanks, Rodney. Now, he held this Jeep for us, and he heard that we were looking
for him, so thank you for holding it for us. It's been a couple of weeks since we got here,
but we're actually, right now, in the next 24 hours, we're going to buy three 79 golden Eagles.
Really? Yeah, so they're different than this, but they're all going to be unique.
Yeah. So we're in the middle of, not nowhere, but LaGrange, Texas, like I said,
where the famous ZZ Top song is. ZZ Top, baby. We got a lot of nice girls down here.
Look at the view. Oh, man. Wow. Hey, we're on the highest point in Fay County. My dad lives there
in his homemade barns and buildings. We've been farming this land since 1973. My dad moved down
here, and well, if you look, see them barns down there? See them barns right across in between
them trees and big barns? Those are my dad's. That's where my grandpa farmed about 600 acres
of cotton. That's where my grandpa established himself when he came across on a boat from
Czechoslovakia. They established that little place down there, and my dad built all those
barns right there. You can see them, and it gives me chills because I still do the hay down there
with my dad. He's 82. That's awesome. We've been moving houses. We had a Conyer Brothers house
moving. Have you ever seen that show on TV called Moving House or Hauling Big Loads?
Well, they asked me to do that little show, but I was too small of a company for them to
want to come down here from Ohio. So, Conyer's Czechoslovakia. That's where it's going.
Yeah, we're from Czechoslovakia. You ever go to the Czech stop?
Yeah, out there in West Texas. Unbelievable, isn't it? Fantastic. So, the highest elevation
in Fayette County. It's a great day to be alive, right, James? Beautiful views.
So, we've been moving houses. I always told this. We were established in 1905,
two years, three years younger than Harley Davidson Motorcycle. See this building here?
This building was moved from a grange in two pieces. I moved it here with my own hand,
built it all. That household on the other side, I moved that from La Grange Golf Course
in 2000 and put it all here with my own hands. Now, that is one interesting bridge, sir. Yeah.
Yeah. Oh, that one there? That's awesome. Well, it came out of this little oil field road here,
and I just figured since the water was rolling off the roof, I didn't need any gutters over
there. I just let it fall through my cattle guard. I like it. I like it. That's awesome.
Do you know what you also like? What's that? We can talk and we don't even hear this thing
running. That's true. It's still running. See that thing? It is quiet. I like it.
Let's see if we got a tach clock. Yes, sir. Tach works. Look at that. Tach's even working. Tach
works. And it's got some good pep. Original gauges in the dash. So, here's a little piece
of Jeep trivia. All the tachometers in the CJs are for a specific size of the motor. They're
not interchangeable. So, that's a V8 tach, which is really cool. It's going to be used with any
carbureted V8. And a 6-cylinder tach, only for a 6-cylinder, 4-cylinder tach, which is very rare,
is only for a 4-cylinder. So, that in itself is really a rare item.
These are actually the original volt gauge. There's an oil pressure gauge. The oil pressure
gauge is still working. And here's your green and red needle in the...
Yeah, that's for the quadratrack. And the reason I'm saying this is unusual for the oil pressure
gauge to work, this will also tell you that this Jeep is likely 52,000 miles, not 152,
because these will lose their resistance the way they were made, and the needle will fall.
But this one's still working. That's crazy. Really cool. And again,
tilt automatic column is rare. And this piece right here is hard to find. We call that the
Prendle. That's a tough piece to find. They're usually missing. Original visor, still in good
shape. I like it, Rodney. It was a neat piece, man. I'll tell you what. I'll get you paid,
James will get it on the trailer. It was a neat piece. So, you had three big reds at one time.
I went to Arizona on one trip with a friend of mine. It was 2,222 miles.
I left this place at four in the morning, drove all the way over. I was stoked to get three of
these bikes from Arizona, because they have no rust on them, right? This is all original. This
is the one right here. Got the tires original. This one I sold to a house moving buddy on the
other side of Fort Worth. And I sold this one to a Louisiana boy. He was so happy to get this bike.
I brought it, came back home, 2,222 miles, 36 hours straight driving. I did it myself with a
buddy friend with me. Wow. Had 10 minutes of sleep in Pizza Hut waiting on my pizza.
How long ago was this? 36 hours, 2017. Okay. Yeah, so you've had this for seven years. Yeah,
that little red bike there. Is this the nicest one of the three? Actually, this is the all
original one, and that's why I kept it. Now, it won't start, because I haven't had it started
probably in six months, but it was running. It's all original, no rust. It's the one that we had.
Now, it didn't run the best. I had an 83, another 84 just like that with some wider foot pegs and a
rear view mirror on it. That one ran the best, and that's the one I rode around. I have not
driven this thing in six months, but I guarantee you I put a battery in it. It's got a brand new
battery. I just haven't messed with it. I just keep it under cover, and I like having it there.
What would you take for that? I'd probably have to get right around 4,200. I've seen them go for
10,500. Really? Actually, yeah. I've seen them go for 5,000. I've seen them go for ... but none of
them have this. I was actually going to take this little piece off here and chrome it. I love chrome,
and I was going to do the same thing to that, take it off, and make it look like this little
bad boy here. That's my other gem. Beautiful. What year is the Futuramix Osmobile? Oh, that
right there. I think I know, but I don't know. That came off a Mecham auction. Okay, gotcha.
That came off of ... what's his name? God dog, Joey. He passed away, and all of his cars were
auctioned off, but that's a rare sign also. That guy right there is rare. Osmobile Futuramix.
I'd say 60 ... man. Man, I couldn't tell you. That's a hard ... I've got the price on there,
what I think I paid for that sign, but I bought that sign plus another little yo-yo that had
Miners Motor Company, Fayette County, LaGrange on it. I think I paid $200 for a yo-yo,
but you see how I am. This is where that Jeep was going to sit, honestly, because this is where my
Dakota sat. This is where my Impala sits, and I had the Dakota sold, and I was going to roll
that Jeep in here and slowly redo it. Now, a couple of years, I was not going to do what
y'all were going to be able to do to that Jeep, so you can see ... We'll make it a lot new. Yeah.
I'm going first dibs on that Jeep when y'all get her done, all right? I'm not going to say it's
going to be expensive, but we're going to have a lot of time. Oh, I know you're going to be
expensive, and so what I'm planning on doing is one sold, two sold, three sold, four sold,
five sold, and then I'm going to buy my Jeep back. Yeah. Okay. So I asked Mr. Konya if he
had something else that he might consider selling, which is always a really good lead-in question.
Show us the 650L. Mr. James is very familiar with what that is, XR. Probably the nicest one I've
seen, and I wasn't aware they still manufactured, and an incredibly nice 84 big red 250 with the
original tires. Now, don't shoot me because I didn't buy any of these, but I'm not completely
up on the market of these right now, so let's get the Jeep on the trailer, and Rodney, thanks for
showing us that. Yeah, you got it. And what an incredibly cool man cave. You got it.
Leaks a lot. You on it? I see up in there. This is 1979 Golden Eagle number one. Again, we're going to do three in the next 24 hours.
So we're rolling through Weimer on our way out of LaGrange,
and underneath this carport at Don's Automotive is a CJ7. Looks like it needs a little bit of help.
Looks like a 1981, but that's where I carry this car. If you'd like to sell this, please give me a call.
Sometimes people call me after 20 years on these, right James? That's right. You never know if you don't ask.
All right. We're in Cleveland, Texas. Jeremy, how are you, sir? Doing good. How are you today? So the fish
weren't biting today? We caught 10 a piece, my brother. Just no size slot fish. Well, that's a lot
for us. We never caught 10, I don't think, ever. What does a slot fish mean? It's got to be
over 24 to weigh it in or under 16. What's it got to be to eat it? Under 16 or over 24.
Well, there you go. I had to let those go. That was an 873.
Well, in our area, that'd be a trophy fish. So you kept nothing today? Nope. So are you a
professional? Is that why? No, just weekend warrior. Okay. All right. So we're in Cleveland,
Texas. It's getting a little bit late. We started early. Why are we here? So 79 CJ7, or 79 Golden
Eagle, Cherokee. That thing's cool. Got a 360 in it. How did you find it, and where did it come from? This was my uncle's truck.
Your uncle's truck? Oh, actually, it's my mother's uncle. Okay. So he had it sitting out behind his
house. Ain't since 1994. It ain't been registered, I think, was it, 93? He drove it up until then,
until gas prices got too high, and he parked it. And it's been sitting there since then.
So basically, one family owned it? Yep. Wow. He bought it originally in 79.
So these, I mean, you've probably done some research. I didn't find nothing on them. Really? Okay, well,
they were only made in 78 and 79 only. So it's a two-year only. And they were only done in two
doors, not four doors. I happen to know where a dealer installed four door is in 79, which is really,
really cool. It's got the original wheels on it. They're not in very good shape, but
like I told him on the phone. It's a good looking truck. Golden tinted windows. I like it.
Rear bumper's straight, which is actually very important. 91, look how cool that is. That's awesome.
Where's my phone, homie? In the truck, sir. You want me to go get it?
Jeremy's phone, because I don't have my flashlight, which I should have a ton of them.
You should. So we've got J as in Jeep, 9 as in 79, 1-7 as a two-door Cherokee,
N, which is the weight, and then N, which is a 360 two-barrel. Because mainly what we buy are CJs,
which an H code would be a 304. So you never see an N ever on a CJ7.
Man, lots of patina, but I almost like it. I do too.
Tilt column. Dude, what else I really like is this guy has a key in it. Yeah.
The only thing it came with. Clear title. Clear title. It's getting kind of late. I'd
like to look at a lot more, but I'm just going to pay you what you want for it.
79, two-year-only, 78-79, Cherokee, Golden Eagle. Very cool.
All right, I said I was going to wait till I got home. I've got to see what color it is.
But let's go ahead and look at this emissions tag real quick.
360. J9 is 1979-79. And again, these were only made for two years and they were really expensive.
See if we can read this trim tag. Look at that.
9K, Sable Brown. So the same color that's on the trailer right now on the 79 Golden Eagle. So we
have a 79 CJ7 Golden Eagle and 79 Cherokee two-door Golden Eagle in the same color
on the same day. It's a great day to be alive. And as far as options go, almost the same options.
We have cruise, power steering, power brakes. The emissions are still here in AC. Unbelievable.
So in 1979, we have two of the ultimate Jeeps ever built the same day. Highly optioned.
Great day to be alive. So who's driving? You. Okay, I don't mind. I'll get a little bit of
the headliner out of the way. It's got a tilt column. See, I'm telling you.
This is literally optioned exactly like the CJ7 we picked up today. Automatic tilt column. Look
at that beautiful steering wheel. And this horn button is crazy rare because it's tan.
Looks like a Jeep key. It turns back to accessory but it won't go forward so I can get it in neutral.
Sometimes you just got to get lucky and get it right where the tumblers hit but I need to hit.
I need to go forward. It's in park. Tell them to hang on.
So where we are now is it's stuck in park. So there's no way to get on the trailer.
Fortunately, we have the key. We can steer it but it will not move.
Look at the gecko right there. It's a frog. Nah, it is a frog. Gecko. Well,
that's pretty cool. Frog should go for a ride. What'd you do? I actually didn't do anything. I
guess we've got the steering to where it's unlocked but I didn't think it was in neutral.
But all we really need is steering. The rope fell off because it wasn't attached properly.
We said that. Okay.
I got to turn all I can turn. It's all right. Go faster. No, we're in a whole bunch of stuff.
I'm pretty sure that wasn't my fault. NASCAR it is. Daytona is not NASCAR,
sir, but that's okay. It's race car stuff, sir. That's all we care about. Getting it on a trailer.
Fast style. At least it's smooth. This ain't hard to turn, son.
So is it dark now, Zach? I think it is. I can't see anything.
But, you know, sometimes I get overzealous with my plans but we are going to pull this off.
Good thing there's no bugs out here. True. Only like thousands. I had frogs,
geckos, and all kinds of stuff on me inside the... I think I just ate them off.
I don't know what else to do. It would have been easier if James could have backed up,
but I don't know. I guess he doesn't know how to do that anymore. He couldn't see with that trailer.
Well, Jeremy, I guess we're a little bit behind on our schedule, but it's all right. We got a
deal done, right? Right. I guess I'm going to pay you what you're asking for and I forgot
that. We just put it right out of the field and I guess no negotiating now, right?
Done deal. Sold with but the crime. Let's get on the trailer.
Zach! What? Can you drone this? Yeah, we'll see it really well. You don't have a light on your
drone? No. What? You work for some really cheap guy then, huh? There's one online right now for
600 bucks at Huntsville. It comes with five batteries and everything. Yeah, Zach. So Zach's
got a ghetto drone. And it's infrared. Perfect. Right there. So before we strap these down,
got so much weight. I love to have the rear ramp. Just hold it. It's on the trailer. Nothing's easy,
but nothing in life worth having is. So I think we're at about 830 at night. We started kind of
late this morning for us because of the way the schedule went, but it's on the trailer. Right,
James? Yes, sir. She's on. That's a rare beast, son. You ever seen one? No, sir. I haven't. Most
people have not. I can't wait to see it in the daylight. We're going to take father-daughter
dance lessons for my wedding and Dennis is pretty excited about it. Oh, you said what we're going to
the airport for? I said what are we doing before the airport? Oh, before the airport. Yes, it's our
day one of father-daughter dance lessons. It's gonna be awesome. We're about to see exactly how
many left feet we have. Need more power? Yes. Outstanding. Listen to that. Sounds good. It's
alive. This one will definitely get saved. Really rare find. Thank you. Jeremy, thanks for the deal.
I know it's dark and late out here in the hill. No problem. Now we are away to Boise, Idaho.
All right, now we're in Boise, Idaho. Nice crisp fall morning. First time I had the long-sleeved
coffee walk shirt out this fall. Get yours. Go to cbjeep.com, but we're here for 1979 CJ5
Golden Eagle. I believe it's a one-family-owned Jeep. By the pictures, it looks outstanding. This
is going to close out our 79 Golden Eagle trifecta. So grab your cup of joe and let's go get another
one. Well, that'll certainly put a smile on your face seeing a Golden Eagle in a driveway.
PTO wedge. That's really neat. Good morning. Good morning, Dustin. How are you? Awesome. How are you
today? Good. Dennis Collins. Nice to meet you. Good to meet you too. This is Zach on the camera.
Hi, Zach. How's it going? Well, put a smile on my face pulling up and seeing it in the driveway.
Right on. I love it. What is the, I mean, it's been a while since we talked or maybe you're
talking to Jonathan. What's the history of it? Is this your grandfather's? This was my
grandfather's. He bought this brand new out of Billings, a sellover Jeep. I'm originally from
Coeur d'Alene, so North Idaho, North Idaho Jeep. Okay. He owned a restaurant when I was growing up.
He had pizza places and every time it started doing well, he'd go out and buy a new toy.
So he bought an anniversary Corvette and then he bought this Jeep. And this Jeep was pretty
much for grandkids pulling up in the North Idaho hills. That's awesome. So one family-owned Jeep.
One family. When he passed a few years ago, my aunt got it, which is his fourth daughter.
Okay. I'm the firstborn of the first daughter and then she's gotten really sick and can't get in
and out of it. So it came to you. Came to me. Got the original spare tire still on it. That's pretty
crazy. I remember having different seats as a kid and I don't know where the original seats are.
Yeah, so those are later model CJ seats. This would have had low backs to match the rear.
Since it's a 79, even though they're Levi's tan, the buttons won't say Levi's. It's just regular
buttons. I just so happen to have the right seats for this Jeep. Even better.
This is really cool. I wasn't aware of this, but this is a T18, which is a granny low.
Very rare. Those are special order. Generally, most of the T18 Jeeps, of course you got big
mountains out here, but that's where they came from. It's not uncommon to see in Colorado,
but you rarely ever see one in Texas. Tilt. Obviously all gold needles got tack and cloth.
Original carpets in it, which is great. Do you have anything else with it?
I don't.
Definitely looks like original paint. These bug screens are real common. Back in the day.
So you had a pretty major service done on this thing.
It had sat for a few years, so we replaced the radiator, the master cylinder, all new brakes,
hoses as well. We did some fuses and some light bulbs that were out.
It's 9N, which is Morocco buff, which is a really pretty color. This will brighten up some when we
polish it. Then, what you want to see on a gold needle is 6CK, which is the Levi's
Tanitier buckets for a gold needle. Does it run? It does, of course.
8,000 miles, tack's working, oil pressure's working.
So two things that's great about this Jeep right off the bat, being a CJ5, the tilt column's really
nice because you don't have as much room up front, but this thing having a T18 in it is crazy. That's
the reason I really want to drive this. This is a 632 to one crawl ratio. I mean,
you put this thing at first gear, like if you're out hunting or in a field or whatever,
and you just let it crawl, you can even hear it. I mean, it's crazy, crazy low.
You don't really need it when you're driving on the street. So if you watch this tack
in the speedometer, we're not even going 10 miles an hour. We're running 3,000 RPM,
so that is an incredibly low crawl ratio. What's great about that is if you're climbing
really, really steep hills, these transmissions are very rare and very sought out.
That is cool. I also love the shifters on these T18s,
it makes you feel like you're driving like an 18-wheeler or something.
I'm getting a lot of ways to get this Jeep, and I'll tell you what, this is a great find.
So this time, normally when you have a T18, your second gear, you just use that as first gear.
So we'll start off in second gear right now, and it's pretty much about like a T150 is.
We're actually buying one that runs and drives, kind of unusual, right Zack?
Very rare.
We will buy them in any condition, dead or alive. Keep sending in the leads.
Now we don't have the rig here, which is very unusual to pick this up,
but I think we're about 1,600 miles away, and we've looked really, really hard to try to find
something else in the area that we can buy that makes sense to send the rig this far,
but we can't find anything. So we will probably just have to hire a transport company to get
this one back to Wiley, Texas, but I am definitely buying this cool T18.
That is so cool, that T18.
Yeah.
I mean, we're at 3,000 RPM, and we're going like nine miles an hour.
I know, I know. Great for climbing up a hill.
Oh, it's unbelievable. I mean, even for hunting, a lot of guys would just put it in and just let
it crawl.
Yeah, exactly.
If that's what he did.
Did you see he had a PTO winch?
I saw the PTO on the front. Have you ever used it?
No, I haven't. I don't know. I'm not sure how.
Candy got a Houston, Texas. That's crazy. You know, Pierce winches are out of Texas too.
But look at this chain drive to run the PTO. That is really cool.
Guys at the shop are going to love that.
We're going to have to play with that a little bit.
Also, I'm just going to pay what you're asking for.
I love that.
I think it's worth it. Oh, thank you. I appreciate you holding it for us.
Of course.
Last question.
Yes.
Your favorite local restaurant to eat at?
Well, funny you say that. I actually own a restaurant.
Really?
Yeah. You guys should come in for lunch.
If you'll have us, I'm in.
All right.
What's the name of it?
Brick 29.
What kind of food?
Northwest, New American.
Okay.
Yeah. It's a bistro concept, but it's a favorite of the locals.
Well, I'm in. Let's do some paperwork, get you paid, and go have some lunch.
Awesome. Thank you.
Yeah. Thank you.
As we're leaving the neighborhood, we've been looking around for another Jeep since we kind
of come this far and picked that one up. And there is, you can tell from here because you've
got the round fuel fill, 1977 Gold Eagle, which is the first year I walked up and just
took a quick look at it. V8 automatic. We really need that. So since I don't have my
business card on me, I will mail them a letter to see if they're interested in selling it.
Always chasing the Jeeps.
Brick 29 Bistro. This is actually Dustin's restaurant. How cool is that?
That looks fantastic.
Bacon, cheese.
Beautiful. Dijon bacon Brussels sprouts.
Sliced garlic calamari.
Outstanding. Thank you.
Gentlemen, enjoy that for the time being. All right.
Thank you.
Well, this is a killer lunch.
Wow.
Spicy calamari.
Lots of flavor.
Love Brussels sprouts. Let's see if we can get everything on one of them.
I don't know how I'm going to do this, but I'm going to do it.
There we go. Enjoy that for the time being.
Thank you.
Wow.
This is going to be in the top of all Coffee Walk food, I can just tell.
There was a backstory on why it's called 29. This used to be a Masonic Lodge.
And it was Lodge 29. And then he uses copper in his logo.
I don't remember why it was copper. What was the reason for that, Zach?
The element number is 29.
There you go. Element number is 29 for copper. Very good.
Incredible appetizers. This is definitely worth a drive.
Mac and cheese. No tomatoes.
That plate might be a little warm.
Ribeye steak, medium rare.
So this is not only comfort food elevated, it's comfort food reinvented.
And reinvented box.
Wow.
Chef does a pretty good job.
That's amazing.
So do the rest of his boys back there.
Well, appetizers are incredible. That looks phenomenal.
I hope you enjoy it.
I'm going to go right through the middle.
Yeah, go by. Yeah, always in the middle.
Let's hope you got it right the first time going out.
Beautiful.
Look at that.
Yeah, we're good.
Yes, sir.
I'll enjoy yourselves, gentlemen.
Thank you. We are so far.
So we got red potatoes, prime rib.
This is blue cheese on top.
Wow.
What a treat.
Amazing appetizers.
That's got to be best bite.
Oh, that's got to be best bite.
Now, as you guys know, over time,
Zach is somewhat of a macaroni and cheese aficionado.
And I have to say, that's the best looking macaroni and cheese I've ever seen you order.
Looks good.
All right, give this camera.
Oh, no.
Zach hates this part.
We're going to do it.
All right.
Wondering how to navigate through the chicken.
This is pretty good chunks of chicken.
All right, let's get a best bite.
Chicken.
How's that look?
That looks great.
You're the macaroni and cheese expert, not me.
My mind, my gut's telling me 8.6.
It's pretty strong.
Pretty good.
It's really good.
And by the way, that hat that Zach's wearing,
it's our 40th anniversary hat, which will be this October.
Pretty sweet.
Wow.
Two gluten-free desserts, right?
Yeah.
Creme brulee with strawberry?
A little fresh strawberry.
What do we have here?
That is a flourless chocolate torte.
There's coconut cream mousse on top.
It sits on roasted pecan caramel sauce.
How could we not try this?
Even though I am absolutely stuffed.
That's all good.
Okay.
Eat what you can, gentlemen.
Thank you.
Enjoy your very well.
That is so much work to make that.
Unbelievable.
And a flourless, gluten-free chocolate masterpiece.
Wow.
Brick 29 Bistro.
You gotta try it.
As always, please like, share, and follow.
And most importantly, subscribe to our YouTube channel.
See you next week.
Outstanding.
Well, they were sold out of the famous root fajitas.
So I copied James, but I got beef.
He got pork.
Beautiful.
Where's James?
I don't know where James is.
I guess he had to take a poop.
It seems to be a common thing with old people on our show lately.
And there's Zach's street tacos.
I didn't know it was here.
I didn't see it.
Look at that thing.
You're gonna have to help me eat that.
You got pork and pineapple.
I got pork and pineapple.
I got beef and shrimp.
That looks awesome.
My contraption I thought was gonna spin around.
It said mine was too, but why is it not spinning?
I don't know if it's...
Maybe I'm just doing something wrong.
All right.
It's good and fun.
Eat your street tacos, Zach.
