The Mazda EZ-6 is the first new-energy flagship sedan from Changan Mazda, a joint venture between Mazda Japan and Changan Automobile, and is scheduled to go on sale on October 26, 2024 in mainland China. The car is based on Changan's EPA hybrid platform and is available in two power options: a programmable electric vehicle (REEV) and a pure electric vehicle (BEV). Currently, there are seven pre-sale models available, including four range-extended versions and three pure-electric versions, with pre-sale prices ranging from RMB 160,000 to 200,000 yuan.

Exterior Design:

The Mazda EZ-6 adopts the “Authentic x Modern” design theme, continuing the Mazda family's front face styling, and is equipped with a large closed Soul Tank Shield, which, combined with the slender LED headlamps, creates a more aggressive visual effect.
The body features a short front and rear suspension with a perfect 50:50 ratio, a sleek roofline with hidden door handles, and a rear end that incorporates through-lighting LED taillights and an intelligent electric rear wing to enhance driving stability.
The first two new colors are Luminescent Gold and Lunar Gray, highlighting its luxurious nature.
Interior Design:

The interior is modern and minimalist, featuring a 14.6-inch high-definition LCD touchscreen with Qualcomm's 8155 chip, a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a full digital instrument panel, and a HUD head-up display with navigation function.
The instrument panel is free of physical buttons, incorporating multi-colored ambient lighting and a flat center armrest. The seats are ergonomically designed with zero-gravity, and feature a panoramic sunroof and SONY's customized premium surround sound system.
The Mazda EZ-6 is Mazda's key new energy product for the Chinese market, and pre-sale deliveries are expected to begin in nine to ten weeks. The car not only demonstrates Mazda's design expertise, but also its commitment to the future of new energy technology.
