How to make my no-bake billionaires tart. Delicious, indulgent and perfect.
Hello everybody and welcome back to my YouTube channel. You know it's a warm day on the day I'm
filming this, not entirely sure what the weather's going to be like when this comes out but let's
just pretend it's hot because we're going to make a delicious no-bake dessert that is so indulgent,
chocolatey, heavenly, everything and of course there's no oven involved because it's no-bake
so that's even better. Either way this is my no-bake billionaires tart. If you think of
millionaires you have shortbread, caramel and chocolate. We're just levelling this up to even
more and then making it into a no-bake dessert form. So I'm just going to show you my ingredients
that we can get making my no-bake billionaires tart. Here I have some blitzed up digestives,
as you can see they're a super fine crumb, you can either do this in a food processor or a bowl
of the rolling pin, you really want it to be as fine as possible and then I have some cocoa powder,
I prefer to use cocoa powder to make a chocolate biscuit base than using a chocolate biscuit but
that is up to you and then I have some melted butter or baking spread, both work well but
you'll mix these three together to make a delicious chocolate biscuit base. For the ganache filling I
have some milk chocolate chips and some dark chocolate chips, I like the ratio of using both
together. This is baking chocolate but any confectionery chocolate will also work. I then
have some unsalted block butter for the filling, I tend to use this over margarine because this will
prevent it from splitting. I then have some double cream, it's important to use the fattiest liquid
cream for this to make it set and then I always like to add a little pinch of a sprinkle of sea
salt, this is optional but I love the combination of salt with the caramel and the chocolate.
Then for the filling we have a caramel, this is just a tinned caramel but of course you can make
your own if you wish, I'll put a recipe in the link below just for homemade caramel sauce if
you prefer. I'm just going to start my base by adding my biscuits to a bowl and then I'm going
to add in my cocoa powder as well and then I'm just going to mix these together so that they're
combined before adding in my butter and then I'm just going to pour in my melted butter and then
combine these together to a wet sand texture. Once I've made the biscuit base I then grab my
loose bottomed nine inch tart tin, I'll put a link to the one in the description box below that I use
because they can vary slightly in size, depth, anything like that but I find it much easier to
use a loose bottomed tin because then when you want to take the dessert out at the end
the base will just pop up and you can slide it off so it's much much easier.
So I'm just going to pour my biscuit base in and then press it into the sides and base of the tart
tin. I find it easier to use the back of a spoon to do this because it will really compact into the sides
like so. I'm just going to start my filling by adding my dark chocolate to a bowl and then I'm
going to add my milk chocolate as well and then I'm just going to add my unsalted butter and then
pour in my double cream and then I add a little sprinkle of sea salt because I love the salty
chocolate. Now I'm just going to melt this in my microwave in short bursts until smooth but you can
also do this over a double boiler on the hob if you prefer but I find the microwave much easier
and quicker. Once the mixture has melted it's a luxuriously smooth and delicious chocolate mix
so all you now have to do is pour your caramel onto the base, top it with the ganache and then
we can set it in the fridge. It does take a few hours to set but once it's set we can decorate
and then of course enjoy a slice but either way it's easy, it's quick and it's no bake so why not
give it a go. So I'm just pouring on the caramel and then pour on the ganache. Now it's full I'm
going to set it in the fridge. Now I'm just going to use some little millionaire's bites to decorate
along with some sprinkles
and then of course I add some sprinkles on top as well
and then of course place one to your serving plate and enjoy. So that is how you make my no
bake billionaire's tart. As you can see it is a little bit of a ridiculous recipe, it's chocolate
on caramel on chocolate on more chocolate with millionaire's bite on top but I'm not complaining
it's no bake, it's the perfect indulgent dessert if you have a hot day or just fancy something
delicious. So make sure to check out the full recipe in the description box below, give the
video a thumbs up and subscribe if you haven't already and come back next time for something
utterly scrumptious as always. Enjoy!
