Interview with actor Philip Smithey

OK, the biggest challenge of this film was one. Saying goodbye to all these people because we had so much fun every day getting to work together and tell this story. The challenge also was getting to the headspace of a character who's going through a very tumultuous time in their relationship. When you're talking about someone who's been married for 10 years and you find out that it's not real, it's like, oh, my God, my whole life is a lie. Wait, did you just ruin the movie for us? Well, I you know, we're not married is the title. Hopefully you can deduce something from that, that the married is not we. I always thought it was like we are in a relationship and we are not married because you're not proposing. Oh, oh, my gosh. I just ruined this whole shebang right now. I am so sorry.
