Melbourne Victory v Macarthur FC | Highlights | Australia Cup 2024 Final

Moshash, it's a great ball. Piskupu! Great save, Kurto. Well, if they've made it this far, MacArthur, it's in large part to their Polish goalkeeper. And that was the first really good save of the evening. Bratton, straight back. Now Holman, looking to run at players. That's a great run from Holman, still going. Brilliant from Holman, deflected! And just onto the roof of the net. The MacArthur number 8 thought it was dropping in. Brilliant football. Guerrilla again. Never played for the Socceroos, Jason Guerrilla. You were reading my mind, weren't you? I am a really big fan of him. I'm really hard to believe. Maybe it will change with Tony Popovich. Here's Villupilay, on the left foot! Brilliant stop! Philip Kurto. Well, we know he's a specialist from the penalty spot. That was almost a penalty. It was unseen until the last moment he threw himself to ground. Physical, Matt, played at great intensity. But everything above board. As again, Drew is away here. The flag has stayed down. Jet Drew. Jakulis at the back post. Marin Jakulis! And MacArthur have scored! The classic dagger to the heart on the counter-attack. And just before the hour mark, they go and celebrate in front of the travelling supporters. It's the first effort on target of the match for MacArthur. Now, Piscopo and Boss. Little ball for Valadon. It's a good run. Jordi Valadon, the touchback. Mashash! Brilliant block from Yerman. Now Piscopo. Still going. And again, it's Keely-Adamson with the block this time. This was nice play from Melbourne Victory. And then it was just a case of too many bodies in the way. White shirts everywhere. Fornaroli. First touch for Hoey. Driving into the area, the youngster with the touch from Valupale. And another great save. Reflex stuff from Philip Curto. Curto long. There goes the final whistle. And MacArthur, for the second time in three years, against all the odds, are Australia Cup winners. And now we would like to invite MacArthur legend James Meredith forward to deliver the Australia Cup trophy. Congratulations to the Australia Cup 2024 winners, MacArthur FC.
