With a net worth of over 200 million dollars, it's fair to say that Max Verstappen has plenty
of cash in the bank to splash on luxury purchases most people could only dream about. And the truth
is, like most F1 drivers, the Dutchman hasn't been holding back. If you take a look at his Instagram
and other social media pages, you'll see just how well the Dutchman is currently living.
So, what does the Dutch racing superstar do with all this money at such a young age?
Well, quite a lot, and in this video, we'll take a look at some of the most stupidly expensive
things Max Verstappen currently owns. The Dassault Falcon 900EX. Despite his ripe age of 25,
thanks to his annual salary of 54 million dollars per year, Max Verstappen has made
one of his dreams come true, having his own private jet. According to reports,
Max is the proud owner of the Dassault Falcon 900EX, which he bought from the British multi-billionaire
Richard Branson in 2020 for the staggering price of 60 million dollars. Verstappen's private jet
is unique. The jet boasts a custom matte grey colourway with orange stripes, and if the jet's
colours don't indicate enough that it's Verstappen's jet, then the lion's head detail on the tail
definitely gives it away. The jet is said to be one of the most luxurious on the market.
It has top of the line and sweet shower, a fully stocked bar filled with Max Verstappen's drinks
and snacks, and comfortable seats and beds that accommodate up to 16 passengers. But owning a
private jet isn't as simple as just buying one for yourself. Another reason this is one of the
most expensive things Verstappen owns is the yearly maintenance costs of such a vehicle.
Maintaining a jet of this calibre costs Verstappen an estimated 1 to 2 million dollars annually,
and if you think that's a lot of money, wait until you see the other things Verstappen owns.
Tag Heuer and Luxury Watches
Max Verstappen wasn't always a watch lover. While there are many athletes in F1 who regularly
sport designer and luxury watches, Max was pretty late to the game. It wasn't until his father,
Jos, introduced him to the world of watches that Max finally hopped on the hype train.
Based on recent Instagram photos the Dutchman shared, it seems like he's finally grown a love
for watches. At every formal event he attends, you can see an expensive watch on his wrist.
But, if there was one timepiece in his collection that stands out the most,
not necessarily because of price, it's his special edition Tag Heuer.
Tag Heuer has sponsored Red Bull Racing for quite some time now, and as a tribute to the
team's top driver, Tag Heuer created a super rare watch specifically for Verstappen.
The watch is called the Carrera Calibur Heuer 01 Red Bull Racing Special Edition.
Aside from sporting the classic Tag Heuer design that's propelled the brand to the
watch world, the watch face has Verstappen's red number 33 and also a few details that reflect the
F1 driver. And while the watch was specifically designed for Verstappen, you won't see him wearing
it during racing weekends. Why, you may ask? Because Verstappen shared an interview that
during race weekends, he likes to be super focused and bring with him as few distractions as possible.
A stunning property in Monaco. Many might believe that Max Verstappen still resides
in the Netherlands, but that's not true. Like many F1 stars, Max Verstappen lives in the
glittering principality of Monaco, famed for its luxurious surroundings and tax-free benefits.
Currently, Max resides in a super chic $60 million apartment, and although the F1 superstar
can easily buy it thanks to his $54 million salary from Red Bull alone, he chooses to rent.
And when it comes to Monaco, $60 million isn't that much to spend on a property.
It could maybe get you a 3-bedroom apartment and a nice view out to the sea.
Max isn't particularly known for having the best taste in fashion or design, so he used the help
of his brother, Sophie Kumpen, to help him out with furnishing and designing the indoors of
the property. His newly purchased Aston Martin. Max Verstappen is an avid fan of Aston Martin,
and this new luxury hypercar purchase will certainly leave a dent in the Dutchman's pocket.
We're talking about the Aston Martin Valkyrie, a genuine racing car for the road. The Valkyrie
hypercar, formerly called the AMRB 001, is fitting for a Formula 1 driver, as it packs a naturally
aspirated Cosworth V12 engine and an electric motor developed in cooperation with Red Bull
Advanced Technologies. Capable of pushing 1,160 horsepower and 664 pounds of torque to the tarmac,
the Valkyrie's Cosworth V12 can spin to a heady 11,100 rpm and make peak power at an astonishing
10,500 rpm. The Aston Martin Valkyrie is essentially a racing car, and it has the
numbers to make any supercar owner take notice. The model goes from 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds,
and has a top speed of 250mph. Meanwhile, the AMR track performance pack adds titanium brakes,
track suspension, an aero-optimized carbon body kit, and bespoke livery. With prices starting
at around $3 million, and with production limited to 150 road cars, the Aston Valkyrie is, hands down,
the most expensive car in Max Verstappen's collection. And we won't go into detail about
all of the other expensive supercars that he owns, which are worth millions, including a few models
from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Renault, and more. Powerful Jet Skis
Verstappen is half Dutch and half Belgian, and spent much of his childhood in Belgium,
a country not known for its beachfront resorts. And since he's now a Monaco resident,
you best believe Max hasn't hesitated to get a taste of the lavish lifestyles the locals live.
Verstappen has a passion for vehicles, but not just the ones you drive on the street.
Along with his collection of different cars in his garage, Verstappen also owns quite a few
powerful Jet Skis, which he uses along the Monaco coast on a regular basis.
The news of Verstappen owning a Jet Ski first broke when he was spotted riding one of his
close friend and DJ Martin Garrix. Photos of Verstappen ripping on a Jet Ski made waves in
2020 and were a delight to many of his fans. Since Verstappen has been riding non-stop since his
debut at 18 years old, fans were happy to see that he was finally taking a break and having
some fun away from the track. So, when he's not setting records on the tarmac,
it's pretty common to see Verstappen shredding on the Monaco tides with his Jet Skis.
