Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel or if you are new here for the first time then hello,
welcome. In today's video I have another fall decorate with me. We are going to be decorating
our primary bedroom for the fall season and the first thing we're going to do is get this space
nice and clean before we start decorating. So I am going to do a good vacuum of our area rug. I
am using the same Dyson Animal Extreme that I was using in my living room decorate with me. This is
amazing and gets up so much hair. I'm then taking our chom chom and going to do that all over our
bed just to make sure we get all the pet hair off because our dogs do sleep with us on the bed. For
our nightstands I'm going to lint roll the lampshade. I've shared this in one of my previous
videos and it's such a game changer to get hair and lint all that stuff off of your lampshades.
Then I'm just going to wipe down our nightstands to make sure we're getting any of the dust and
grime off of there. For fall time I wanted to make our bed very cozy and with the help of bed sure
we are going to do just that and I'm going to share with you how I create a beautiful and cozy
layered bedding look. If you have never heard of bed sure they are a bedding company that sells
everything you need to make the coziest bed. They have everything from sheet sets, comforters,
throw blankets, quilt sets, and they also have some silk pillowcases and they also have some
pet beds. So hopefully one of these days I can try out some of theirs because they look so cozy
and I think our dogs would love them. So now that I have everything unboxed and unpackaged I wanted
to show you the color scheme I'm working with all the different textures so you guys could really
see what they look like close up. Getting into the Burr months I really like to add in lots of
texture to create that cozy space. So the first thing we are going to start with is new sheets.
These are the bamboo and linen sheet set and I got them in the color linen. These are so incredibly
soft and very lightweight so they'll still keep you cool at night. I then layered in our new
comforter which is the cotton waffle weave comforter set in the color beige. I'm then going
to fold down the top eight to ten inches and then start tucking the comforter underneath the mattress.
Now you can leave the comforter out but I personally think with the bed frame we have it
looks better when you tuck the comforter in. You can see more of the bed frame and it is very
beautiful so I don't want to hide any of that. Next I'm going to be putting the pillow covers
from the sheet and comforter set on our pillows and then going to be layering those right in front
of each other. The thing I love about BedSure is you're getting really high quality bedding
for an affordable price tag which is huge. It's so hard to find good quality bedding nowadays
so if you guys have been looking for any make sure to check out BedSure. They have
so many different great selections to pick from on their website which I will have linked below.
For the next layer I'm taking their cotton waffle weave quilt set and this is in the color khaki.
I love the contrasting colors but they're still very neutral so I think they complement each
other very well. Now I'm going to fold this into threes so that I can put this at the end of the
bed and tuck it into the mattress as well. After adding in a chunky knit throw blanket I'm going
to add in the BedSure cotton waffle weave blanket. This is in the color olive green.
I originally was trying to also layer it at the end of the bed but I decided to kind of drape it
over the side which I thought looked really nice and cozy. I ended up actually changing it which
you guys will see here in a little bit. You'll have to let me know which version you liked better
in the comments below. Another big tip for creating a cozy bed is adding in a lot of throw pillows. I
love doing this creating lots of layers. I am trying out different lumbar pillows. Let me know
if you like the first or the second one. I still can't really decide. Now for the bench in front of
our bed. I get so many questions on this. My husband actually made it so sadly I cannot link it
but I'm just going to place a coffee table book and two of these pumpkins that are both from Hobby
Lobby. Sadly they did not bring back the leather pumpkin this year. I got it last year on major
sales so I won't be able to link that for you but I did get the burlap pumpkin just a couple
days ago so if I can find it I will leave that linked below. I ended up adding in a second coffee
table book to give the leather pumpkin a little more elevation and then I added in that second
pumpkin on the side. I absolutely love the way that this came out. It's very simple but I think
it's one of my favorite spaces for fall time in our home. Here I am going to be moving the olive
green blanket. I'm going to be just adding that directly in front of the quilt that I put. I'm
also going to be tucking that into the mattress but just so that it gives it that nice contrast.
I absolutely love these colors together. It is the most beautiful color palette. This may be one of
my absolute favorite bedding combinations. I can't wait to hear what you guys think of it in
the comments below. Like I mentioned I will have everything linked from Bed Sure that I use to
create this bedding look in the description box down below and I will also leave my discount code
down there for you as well. I wanted to show you guys my funny little Zoe. She has to rub herself
all over bedding as soon as I get the bed made so I just couldn't help but share this little cutie.
For my nightstand I'm going to take this beautiful handle, the black vase that I found at HomeGoods
and then these little hydrangea stems that I found at Hobby Lobby recently. I decided to get two
colors. They are perfect for fall time and I absolutely love the way that they look in this
vase. I'm also going to add in this little woven pumpkin that I got from HomeGoods a couple years
ago and you will see I do the same thing on my husband's nightstand. Over on my husband's side
I'm going to take this black vase I got from Walmart and some fall stems that I also got from
Hobby Lobby. Once I put those inside the vase my original plan was to put this little pumpkin
piece in front of that. I didn't really like it that much so I ended up just adding in the same
woven pumpkin that I added on my side to just have everything go really cohesively together.
So I also wanted to include my new favorite slippers for the fall time. These are the Crocs
Classic Cozy Slipper and these are in the color mushroom. They are so good and they are perfect
for fall time. I will leave them linked below. Now we're going to move over to our little reading nook
area. I'm also going to clean this area down because our cat sits here quite frequently so
I wanted to make sure to get any of the hair off. Then I'm taking this Etsy vintage vase
putting that on our little wooden stand from Target and I'm going to put in these hydrangeas
from Hobby Lobby. I'm also going to show you guys another option which I ended up keeping.
This handled vase is from Walmart. It is so good and I'm going to be putting the same hydrangeas
inside of there. You'll have to let me know which one you like better in the comments below.
The last area we're going to style for fall is our dresser right below our tv. I do keep
a table runner on top of our dresser to make sure that it doesn't scratch the paint or anything
but I'm going to be getting all the hair off with my chom chom and my lint roller. Once I do that
I'm going to place this beautiful vase that I got from Hobby Lobby. It is the viral woven vase that
everyone is going crazy about and then I'm taking these fall stems. I honestly don't know where I
got these from so I do apologize but if I do find something similar I will leave them linked below
for you. I am only using two stems because I really wanted a simple and light and airy look
for our dresser. Placing these two frames the bigger one is an old find from Hobby Lobby and
smaller one is a find from HomeGoods so sadly won't be able to link either of those for you.
This book stand I found from Kirkland's about a year ago and sadly that's not available anymore
but I will link something similar. So I first put this woven pumpkin that I believe I got from Hobby
Lobby last year but I decided that I wanted to get a little more cozy in our bedroom so I added
this beautiful green pumpkin candle that I got from HomeGoods. This is the Martha Stewart brand
so if you are looking it smells so good and it is very strong. It made our whole entire house smell
so I was very impressed. I also thought that I would add this set of three gold acorns. I got
these last year and I really love them. I just thought our dresser needed a little something
more and this was the perfect addition. And with that that is going to complete my primary bedroom
fall decorate with me. I hope that you enjoyed it. If you did please make sure to give it a
thumbs up, subscribe to my channel, and follow me over on my other social medias. They are linked
below. I want to thank BedSure for sponsoring today's video and again I will have all of the
links to my new bedding along with my discount code so make sure to check down there. Thank you
so much for being here for today's video and I will see you in my next one. Bye!
