Turn-Key Condo Living in Kona Sea Ridge: Fully Furnished 2-Bedroom Gem Hawaii Real Estate

Hey everyone, I just got done checking out this condo listed by Cheryl Borsch in our office Next Home Paradise Realty and it's a nice bright sunny day here in Hawaii so I do have the sunglasses on. This is a seriously awesome condo. If you have been looking for a two-bedroom, two-bath condo in a residential complex where they're not going to allow short-term rentals and some people don't like it because there's a lot of noise with short-term rentals, a lot of commotion, a lot of hassle, so they like residential condos, this is a pretty darn good listing. I gotta tell you, I like it. They've done a great job remodeling the inside. They have it priced super competitively. This is priced near the price of a lot of other condos who have had zero remodeling done. So, I mean, it's a no-brainer if you're looking at the two-bedroom condo market here in Kona. This is probably the best thing on the market and even though it's a listing in our office, I am completely unbiased when I say that because I've seen a lot of them out there. This is as good as it gets. It's Kona Sea Ridge. This is where I live. So, I think it's a good complex. Yeah, we're going to get inside there. We're going to check it out. I'm going to show you all the good features. Let's get going. Okay, so we are outside of the condo and it's unit A22 at Kona Sea Ridge. Now, I live in Kona Sea Ridge. I know this complex really well. I actually used to live in this floor plan before Lisa and I moved into our larger condo, which a lot of you have seen because we did the whole series on our remodel. So, you know what our condo looks like. So, we started off in one of these. Lisa was actually an original owner and so she's been in Kona Sea Ridge ever since. So, obviously, we like the complex quite a bit. This unit though is in incredible shape. I have to say. There's a lot that they've done that you don't usually find in these condos. If you are looking at that sort of Ali'i Lani, Kona Sea Ridge, Ali'i Ko, Kona Sea Villas type condos, this is an incredible value at the current list price. Just take a look at this one. You want to go look at some other ones and I'm pretty sure if you're making an offer it's going to be on this one. Tremendous value. Okay, this is a 906 square foot, two bedroom, two bath condo. They've done a lot. So, the original flooring here has been changed. They've got tile. You are allowed to do tile in an upstairs unit here in the wet areas. So, they're good here and then we transition over to a wonderful carpet. I gotta be honest. It feels like almost the same carpet that I have in my place. This is a good carpet. It has a good pad. Nice under your feet. Feels great. Well decorated. We have gray on the walls and really where this condo sets itself apart from everything else on the market anywhere near this price point is this kitchen. Outstanding kitchen. Quartz countertops. Single basin sink and I like how they've done that. Let me tell you, if you go into an original unit in here, this sink is actually over here in the corner and with a split in the middle. It's a two basin sink and the faucets in the middle and then there's a split between the two basins in the middle and it is a mess and what you'll often find is they have that corner closet cabinet down here. It's just disintegrated because it just leaks water everywhere. So, really smart for them to move it over here and have a nice large single basin sink. We got slate on our dishwasher and then of course they've upgraded these cabinets. They look wonderful. We have, of course, dovetail joints and I think there's a brand in there but it's covered up by this thing. Soft close. Nice chrome single, you know, just minimalist pulls. This is what we're looking for these days. Tons of space up here. This used to have a two level bar top. They've lowered it. Makes it feel much more open with the living area. Absolutely perfect. We have a nice tile backsplash over here and compared to the other cabinets that you see here in Kona Sea Ridge, these are, I believe, six inches taller, if not a little bit more. They feel a little bit taller than what we had originally, though I could be wrong but it feels like they're taller. New appliances on our microwave over here, GE on that, Samsung on our glass stove oven combination, Slate Color on that as well, Whirlpool on our refrigerator. The Slate Color all matches. You have your small pantry on the other side. Nice little, what do you call that, sideboard with a little cabinet for some fun beverages. Good job on that. Be a number one fan. As you have this little door access right here to this sort of unused corner storage area that's really hard to access, but you have it from this side, super, super smart. One thing people like about being upstairs is you do have the vaulted ceilings, makes everything feel nice and large, so we have this cool ceiling fan, nice light fixture over here. Another ceiling fan, and then you do have a small lanai. We have a window AC unit. They did not install forced air on these when they were built, so people use these window AC units out here pretty commonly. Right to Elite E-Drive, world famous Elite E-Drive. Iron Man race goes right by there during the run section. Iron Man's just a few weeks away. That's this half of the condo, and then on the other half, pardon me guys, of the condo is our two bedrooms, so let's go into our primary bedroom. I think we shift to a slightly, yeah, a little bit of a blue color here on the walls. Looks great. We have our built-in window AC unit in there. It has a drain pan and everything, so it's really nice to help keep this room nice and cool. With a little bit of storage on the left side, I like what they've done here. We got a king-size bed. You can tell for a condo, they're doing pretty good. We got a king-size bed and everything in here. That's kind of nice. This is a pretty good unit. Let's focus our camera straight forward. There we go. And then I like this nice little, this is kind of fun, on the mirror closet doors, they added this applique. It just adds a little pop of color and sparkle on here. So you got a closet on the left and the right side coming through to our bathroom. Of course, they've upgraded this as well. They put in a nice slide-in unit, nice fixtures, countertop, dual mirrors, light fixture up above. Really great job. You have your toilet water closet over here on this side with a privacy door, of course. Tile on the floor, so we switched to tile over here. Again, in our wet areas, we have another applique over here on our shower door into our shower. Yeah, it's got everything you need. They did a really nice job. Seriously, guys, go check it out and check out what the competition is doing for the price on a two-bedroom, two-bath here in Kona Sea Ridge or Le'e Lawny or Le'e Cove or Kona Sea Villas. And this is a fabulous deal. Here's our other bathroom, single base and sink, slide-in unit there. Looks like they got a new toilet. Nice flooring here as well. Lots of color. Very good design. And then you have your stacking washer dryer. That's really great. A lot of these have an apartment stack, which are much smaller. If you put a full-size stacking washer dryer in here, you can get much bigger loads. Makes life a lot easier. And then bedroom number two, we got room for a queen-size bed. Nice color in here as well. And they have their window AC unit. I don't know if you can tell here, but if you have a window AC unit, they have you build a little shroud around it. So it's not unsightly out here in Kona Sea Ridge. All the units have a one-car parking space plus a one-car covered carport. So this is perfect for a couple. You may have someone who comes and visits every once in a while, or for a lot of folks they use a second bedroom sometimes as like an office or just, you know, kind of a storage room or, you know, don't let anyone talk about it. But sometimes husbands and wives sleep in separate rooms these days because someone's a light sleeper and someone's a snorer and stuff like that. Sometimes it's just nice to have a second bedroom as well. We don't really talk about that though, do we? Yeah, great unit.
