Today, we will look at real stories about Keanu Reeves' kindness,
directly from fans of our YouTube channel. Some of these will blow your mind.
Keanu Reeves never forgets his humble beginnings. At the Matrix premiere,
amidst all the glitz and glamour, Keanu emerges as the real star. While others overlooked the
waitstaff, he showed a waiter and a costume designer with genuine care and compassion.
I met Keanu about six years ago at the premiere of The Matrix movie in NYC.
I worked at the movie theater as a makeup artist and a costume designer. The entire night,
I saw all the stars in the movie come and go without any of them looking at me or saying
hello to me, perhaps because of my color and the cheap uniform I had on. For six years,
I've never forgotten the event that will follow the first few hours after I began my shift at
work that evening. Keanu walked up to me and asked me how I was doing. I said to myself,
are you really talking to me? Believe it or not, he actually came up to me and showed compassion
and care. That was the last thing I ever expected anyone to do that evening. He proceeded to ask me
about my job and where I came from, and I told him I was from Oregon and have been working at
the theater for about a year. He chatted with me for about five minutes, but it felt like forever.
He then gave me a hug I will never forget. He is truly a good human being. I don't usually
leave comments on YouTube, but this is to confirm this video. Keanu is good.
I worked as an extra in Chicago where they filmed Chain Reaction.
Keanu hung out with us on lunch breaks, signed autographs, and shared stories.
He's such a gentle soul. It was a blessing to be in his presence. Hats off, my friend.
One of our kids was in the hospital. My wife was out of town. She flew back on the same jet as
Keanu. She was in tears. He consoled her and offered to ride to the hospital. What a guy!
Keanu Reeves loves Formula One for its thrills and glamour,
but he took a 20-minute break to engage in a genuine conversation with a total stranger.
I was lucky enough to spend a little time with Keanu at the Long Beach Grand Prix.
We both had cars in the race and we talked about 20 minutes. Being such a sought-after
celebrity with a busy schedule, I was very grateful that he took the time to talk with
a complete stranger. He is a very nice and kind man who gives back to so many people.
It's too bad more famous people don't treat people like Keanu does. Hats off to you, fine sir.
Keanu Reeves, the coffee-loving maestro, walks into a coffee shop for his daily caffeine fix.
He doesn't just order a latte. He strikes a pose with a barista. He really is a nice guy. My
brother was working at a coffee shop and he walked in and ordered a coffee. Thankfully,
my brother recognized him and asked for a picture. We have it hanging in our house to this day.
He is honestly a really nice guy in person. I met Keanu at the Mayo Clinic. I didn't know
it was him till they called his name up. He kept in contact with me before and after a transplant.
Imagine getting a taste of the celebrity life. That's exactly what this one fan
got to experience with Keanu. Met K back in the 90s in Greenwich Village. Very polite and
ultra-cool. Walked from Washington Square Park to the old St. Mark's Pizza. With him and my fiancé
at the time. Quite a few people recognized him and he waved and said hello to everyone.
Unforgettable experience. He told us he was in town for an NBC interview. Asked for good
coffee spots, record stores, etc. I often wonder if he ever recalls that or even remembers that.
Doesn't matter. We were real lucky that day. People kept looking at me and my gal too
as if we were supposed to be famous people lol. Surreal.
Keanu Reeves proves his gentlemanly charm at the Toronto Film Festival premiere of Henry's Crime.
Instead of just heading inside, he holds the door open for a couple behind him,
flashing his signature warm smile. Fun fact, Keanu is known for his impeccable manners,
often seen giving up his seat to others in public. I was at the premiere for Henry's Crime
at the Toronto Film Festival and he signed autographs for 30 minutes, then stopped at
doors of the theatre with James Caan at his own red carpet event and held the door open for my
girlfriend and I who were let in behind them because of a contest I won earlier the same day.
He's definitely next-level class. I saw him playing slots at a hotel lobby in Vegas
and he was the same guy when two fans noticed him in the dark corner. Everyone has their bad
days so good on him. Ran into Keanu in around 2005 during a trip in Tokyo. I and my wife were
in the same elevator with him. Three words to describe this guy. Handsome, gentle, and genuine.
Keanu Reeves was dining at a restaurant when a lady sent him a bottle of wine to show her
admiration. In true Keanu fashion, he didn't just thank her. When Keanu was doing Hamlet in Winnipeg,
I saw him in a nice restaurant that I'd frequent. I sent him over a nice bottle of wine for his meal
that I particularly liked and nodded to him as I left. Next day at my office, he had sent me a
along with a nice card. He got my personals from the maitre d'. Super class dude.
The following story shares just how spontaneous Keanu really is. He actually motivated and
encouraged me to switch from the electric guitar to the bass guitar after seeing him play and his
performance. I thought about it for quite some time but did it in the end after. I also read he
spontaneously was invited to a wedding at a hotel we resided, threw on a formal jacket,
and joined. He's a very example of a rock star, as one should be.
A fan spots Keanu Reeves with a broken down motorcycle on the Los Angeles freeway and gets
the encounter of a lifetime. Keanu, known for his love of motorcycles, remains calm and kind,
turning the mishap into a memorable moment. Fun fact, Keanu co-founded a custom motorcycle
company called Arch Motorcycle, showcasing his passion for bikes.
I had the pleasure of meeting him once and he was absolutely a humble,
kind and generous man. I was exiting the freeway in Los Angeles and his motorcycle was broke down.
My co-worker and I recognized him and pulled over to see if he needed assistance,
but he graciously smiled and said he was already waiting for a tow.
It was a hot day and we offered him water, which he declined because he had one already,
but he was kind enough to take the time to talk with me, shake my hand,
and get a few pictures together. It made me a bigger fan than I already was.
Many people wonder if Keanu's actions are genuine and this one fan came to vouch for him.
He stayed at my regular hotel last summer in Berlin while he was filming Matrix 4.
I passed him in the lobby, it's a small boutique hotel and the lobby is super small as he was
walking out to meet his driver. He smiled the entire time, was super relaxed and spoke with
a couple of people before he took off to work that day. That moment lines up with what this
video is portraying. While you made it this far which must mean you liked the video,
