So Scarlett, what drew you to wanting to help? Well, you know at the outset, we're all about new beginnings and dress for success Perfectly aligns with that. Yeah, I've worked with their organization for many years whether it was, you know Drawing attention to their cause or donating for auctions and all of that stuff and honestly It's a very clear cause and effect. You can really see it working. They have a low administrative cost And the through line again is just like so clear. You see like the effect positive change immediately and so just being able to partner with them for the outset having part of our proceeds go to their cause and then also Being a global ambassador and being able to talk about the organization with you Yeah, really exciting It's it's it's always wonderful to in like our careers like or anybody's career Like when you get to do something you love and then pair it with something important to you Yeah, I'm saying and then everything gets lifted up together. That's cool. And it's organic. I like that We have someone in our audience who participated in dress for success. Everybody say hi to star And how did you get involved I am a single mother of three children Being the sole provider ten years ago I opened my own home-based daycare and that lasted until Hurricane Sandy and did it all at that point? I was devastated because my children and I lost my I lost my income and my children I were displaced and we ended up in a homeless shelter and I needed to find work and had no work clothing So the caseworker there introduced me to dress for success And when I walked through the doors of dress for success I was met with kindness and nurturing and all types of just encouragement As they walked me through the booth and showed me how to Interchange outfits in order to make it stretch for about a week's worth of clothing and then they continued to invite me for personal financial and Professional development and to this day I I just am grateful for all the help that dress for success has done for me and helping me to become Financially stable. I love that You've continued right working with them. Yes, I continue to work with dress for success Yeah, my heart is to give back and I am at the process of opening my own business And we're where I want to open a full-scale salon that does hair and nails and makeup And all in one so that when women come there they can get a full service With with all of the same hospitality that was offered to me while I was at dress for success as a client and I Endeavor to give 5% of my proceeds to dress for success as well as make sure that women that are going to Interviews that they can come there and get their hair and their nails and and their makeup done before they go to that interview So that they can not just have the outfit, but they can have the complete look in the company confidence Yeah, it definitely does.
