Florida CDD Neighborhood Pool Party

There is a special legal entity in Florida know as a Community Development District (“CDD”). A CDD is an independent local unit, special-purpose government created under the provisions of the Florida Statutes. A CDD is an alternative method of planning, operating, and maintaining community-wide improvements in Florida.

Many Florida CDDs offer private neighborhood facilities for their residents, such as this one, where residents enjoy amenities like resort and lap pools, full gym exercise facilities, swim teams for children, clubhouses, community events, and other social and recreational opportunities.
